Seriously,
avoid
GRU
completely
or
you
will
regret
it.
I
have
never
experienced
such
a
terrible
travel
experience
in
my
entire
life.
We
traveled
from
Rio,
connecting
through
Guarulhos
Airport,
and
because
of
poor
customer
service,
we
missed
our
flight
to
Miami.
We
arrived
with
an
hour
and
a
half
to
make
the
connection.
The
process
was
to
reclaim
our
bags,
check
them
back
in,
then
go
through
security
and
passport
control.
There
were
no
directions
to
the
new
terminal,
no
one
to
guide
you
through
and
the
extremely
long
lines
guaranteed
we
would
be
pressed
for
time
to
make
the
connection.
Don't
expect
any
staff
to
speak
English
either.
You
must
be
able
to
speak
Portuguese
to
get
any
information.
The
signs
were
confusing
and
incorrect.
We
had
to
walk
a
very
long
way
to
go
from
the
domestic
to
the
international
terminal.
This
airport
has
no
tram,
so
be
prepared
to
walk
quickly
to
make
your
connection.
I
repeatedly
asked
airport
employees
to
move
us
to
the
front
of
the
security
and
passport
control
lines
as
we
now
had
30
minutes
to
make
the
connection.
They
were
rude
and
said
we
had
to
wait
like
everyone
else.
We
were
connecting
through,
but
that
didn't
matter.
I
was
so
angry
at
their
lack
of
customer
service.
Why
couldn't
they
make
a
new
line
for
everyone
pressed
up
against
a
tight
connection.
So,
we
missed
the
connection
by
15
minutes
because
no
one
there
made
accommodations
for
anyone
connecting
through.
So
many
people
missed
their
flights
that
night
and
nobody
cared
in
the
least.
The
airport
staff
are
robots
and
don't
understand
customer
experiences
are
important.
And,
they
move
so
slowly
with
ZERO
sense
of
urgency.
