This is India's oldest yoga Institute. I have checked in for a Yoga plus relaxation program for 7 days. Most programs are for a minimum period of 7 days in order to enable your body to go through the desired changes for which one checks in. They provide a week long naturopathy and Ayurveda packages including panchakarma. The food is simple, nutritious and sattvik. The yoga teachers are also excellent and teach with great passion. The property is more than 100 acres and very well maintained by dedicated staff. Lots of greenery on the campus. Those coming for first time for yoga and relaxation can try their ala carte services of body massage, acupuncture and other services as suggested by the doctor who will be consulting you on your first day'. The charges are also reasonable. Their website also very clearly defines the program. I would highly recommend one and all to come here at least once and experience self transformation through yoga and inner healing.

One of the best and renowned Yoga institute in India. Now in its 100th year, setup in 1924. Very authentic and has an amazing huge campus. Very good yoga, pranayama, ayurvedic n naturopathy weekly sessions and courses too. Have 4 types of staying facilities. Well thought out layout, facilities, food and the staff is humble and soft spoken. India's 1st Yoga collage. The food is satvic and simple, but tasty. They have academics for Ayur amd Yoga. Cheap as compared to many other institutes. They have an evening talk session too, on wellness. 1 evening session of Tratak. Any day worth the money and best in this part of India. Kerala and Uttaranchal are too far for many.

This was my first visit at KDham Lonavala. I signed up for the SOHAM program. Pros: Peaceful and green surrounding, cooperative staff (minus few), sattvik food (one get used to the taste of the food within few days), thumps up for cleanliness. Cons: One of their senior yoga teacher is into favoritism. If you are her favorite, then you get full attention, or else you would be just ignored. For a highly acclaimed program like SOHAM, this yoga asanas are very basic. Believe me, we didn't even get to do Surya Namaskar in a 14-day workshop. It's the best place to get into depth of Pranayama & Meditation. Even in a batch of 10-12 participants, few participants always had to be on their own. The teacher showed no concern, even if their yoga postures were incorrect. I saw her paying attention to those who were buttering her. I had booked Standard room and got the one on the first floor. Please note this point if you're particularly scared of lizards. The roof has some opening, and the lizards were popping in and out. Their security guy is very helpful, and twice he got the lizard out of the room. But one night, I wasn't lucky enough, and I saw a super big lizard at around 10 p.m. I had to spend that night in someone else's room. The climate was hot and humid. Don't go during the rainy season or summer if you want to escape heat. Will I go there again? Sure, I will. But I'll make sure to go during the winter season, avoid attending classes by the teachers into favoritism, and not book the standard room.

I have spent some time at Kdham recently and without hesitation I must say it has been an incredible experience. While there are multiple wellness centres across the country, Kdham stands out as one of the few authentic and unpretentious facilities available. The quality of facilities and care is top notch while the ethos and philosophy of the place is pure and simple. They quietly steer past the modern day contemporary yoga and choose to stick with the classical form of yoga, which is undiluted. The environment at the campus is beautiful and aids in the fulfilment of your goals, be it medical recovery or achieving a greater balance of the mind. I intend to be a regular patron of theirs going forward.

I came to Kaivalya Dham Yoga Center on Sunday and was greeted by enthusiasm and I felt positive vibes as soon as I arrived. I was put in the car in the pouring rain followed by hot tea at the reception. the tea was Ayurvedic herbal tea., it was still raining when I was taken to the centre and the staff put my luggage in the right place. The doctors gave me a form to decide my personalized treatment and after filling out this form I was interviewed after that I decided to take a yoga and relaxation course. My treatment started the next day at 5:30 am and my one-week course went very well. In which I was given yoga sessions, taught asanas, taught pranayama, and learned postures. Everyone in this yoga centre help me to grow but I was most impressed by Shalini, Premila and Priyanka madam. Today I am in Mumbai. My powers have increased. Health has increased. The concentration is high. Increased flexibility in the body Muscle pains are reduced Thank you so much

Probably the only yoga institute where traditional yoga and science come together in such a profound way. The campus has a nice, calm atmosphere. The library is like a treasure room full of scientific wisdom and research papers. The people are very kind and humble, and I felt like every teacher is so learned and has his own expertise. I am very grateful to my teachers at Kaivalyadhama for their patience to teach me and the knowledge I gained thanks to them. The teachers are always keen to share their knowledge and experience. Especially dr. Bhalekar really inspired me and guided me well, so that I could keep up my practice in a more gentle way, remaining kind to myself rather than strict. Also, the panchakarma at the institute was very good. Though the treatments felt very short compared to during panchakarmas in other places, the effect was huge. The food is truly sattvic, the chef even shared the recipes and way of cooking with us, and the combination with asana, pranayama and yoga nidra made it such a blissful healing experience.

With deepest gratitude to all the doctors, therapists, catering department, Sativic Cafe, shop, and reception team and superb teachers. I am overjoyed to express my heartfelt review of the exceptional Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute and Health Centre. The food is incredible, the staff are so kind and helpful, and the training was beyond words. My experience at this haven of wellness and rejuvenation was truly regenerative, during my YIC practicals; the food helped me to feel nourished, and the treatments and care were fundamental to the success of my studies. It helped me to feel calmer and grounded. In particular after a long flight journey and so much knowledge to process. I loved all treatments but the salt glow was incredible and the Ayurvedic leg and feet massage was wonderful too; it helped me with my jet leg. The Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute and Health Centre is not merely a place of physical healing; it is a sanctuary for the mind and spirit; a sanctuary of inner peace, nurturing a deep connection with the inner self.

Overall, It was a nice experience. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The treatment and various activities are engaging. Food was Satvic and tasty. 1 star less for the noisy highway passing through the property ( it definitely takes a while to get used to it ).

Attending a week’s yoga therapy at Kaivalyadhama was the best thing I did for myself in a long time. With the lock down isolation and binging mindlessly one felt the need for a structured and holistic health program and that is exactly what my stay there did for me. Totally reset. Everyone deserves to be there few times a year.

The 15 days stay went well, the rhythm of the day suits me perfectly. As far as naturopathy is concerned, acupuncture was not particularly effective, but the massages were very good. the garden is beautiful, there is only the noise of the highway that bothers Les meals are excellent and the staff charming

Very knowledgeable and helpful people who gave personal advice to each and every participant. It was a very relaxing and natural environment in which I found the meaning of myself. The teachers are affectionate with a smile on their faces. One , of course , needs improvement in language and attitude. I am giving my true feelings about him. He is non other than the one who teaches jal neti and basic yoga. He is very proud and behaves like an immature person. Food, medicines and massages are all excellent.

For all the yoga lovers young and old, men and women kaivalyadham institute headquarters in lonavla and also in Mumbai marinedrive is one of the good places to practice yoga. Though there are few improvements to be made which would even make Kaivalyadham Mumbai a better institute. Yoga instructors are busy doing their own work and practising their own yoga rather then teaching members. They try to find sweet spots so as to avoid camera and to do their own personal work. Also few yoga instructors have been given preference in timings and are allowed to go earlier due to this less members are visiting the institute as hall is empty as there is no one to instruct.Covid protocol has been relaxed worldwide and now everything is functional at pre covid levels Rules and regulations should be same for everyone and no one person should be given preference then others. Other then that doctors and staff are highly professional at their duty and carry their work diligently. Also there is relaxing naturopathy and ayurvedic treatment which one can opt for.

Its a nice yoga place situated next to Aquarium. One can do different kind of courses like CCY and other certified courses. We have noticed that some yoga instructors are getting very flexible timings where they come in the afternoon and leave much before 7pm not even 3 hours of duty. It seems there are different rules and regulations for everyone. It's my humble advice to keep same time for all instructors to maintain discipline and protocol which kaivalyadham is well know for. Also one can avail to become a life member and enjoy free doctor consultancy throughout their life which is absolutely phenomenal.

Kaivalyadhama has become an annual ritual for me and my family. They offer the real and true "close to the nature" experience and helps clear the basic fundamentals of Yoga. There are options for every one from Naturopathy to Ayurveda to healing. Extremely clean and well maintained property with all real elements of Nature. The Staff is very well trained and takes care of all the guests.

I can't say enough lovely things about Kaivalyadhama, it exceeding my expectations in every way. I felt extremely well looked after, personally cared for, and the patience and skill shown by our yoga teacher made me feel really supported and valued. The campus itself is a peaceful oasis that feels both a serious place of learning, as well as a relaxing retreat. I met and shared stories with people from many countries and learned a lot about the fundamentals of yoga. I would recommend Kaivalyadhama to anyone to hope to return one day.

This is the third time we have attended the One week health treatment. It has been a great experience for me and my wife and we will continue coming every year to take care of our health. Kaivalyadham is a very Holistic place with very knowledgeable people full of enthusiasm to help. You will surely make new friends and meet some like minded people. It is a secluded environment in a busy place where you will find peace and tranquility.
