I had the chance to visit this lovely plantation and learn on how this amazing coffee is being prepared. The staff is so kind and fun, the explanations were very clear and the house is gorgeous on a heavenly view! I had an amazing time and I highly recommend this place! Not only I had the best coffee ever, but I learned a lot and had an amazing time with great people.

We stopped off at Bali Beans today on our road trip for a coffee and wish we’d left more time to take a tour of the plantation! Everyone was so welcoming and the coffee was fab. Theres even really cute puppies right now which made our day! Will be back for a tour some time :)

Lovely place! The tour was very knowledgeable and the taste of coffee is just perfect. Also, the very important factor is they do not keep the kopi luwak in cages, they produce the coffee from wild beans. The plantation is beautiful.

Bali Beans impressed us with an enchanting tour of their coffee plantation. The exceptionally friendly staff offered in-depth insights into the sustainable and ethical aspects of their coffee journey. An unexpected meeting with the owner brought forth a fascinating tale of planting coffee seeds as a child, culminating in a flourishing coffee tree collection. If you're in search of top-notch coffee accompanied by warm explanations, Bali Beans is the ideal destination. Noteworthy is their distinction as one of the limited sustainable and ethical luwak coffee producers in Bali!

Amazing place, amazing experience! We did a tour around the area, saw how the coffee beans grow (and saw a lot of other amazing plants and tree, and the guide even gave us fruits to try, so yummi!!). Then we did the coffee tasting and it was super complete, they explained all the process, we tried several coffee types. Also ended up buying a lot of coffe cause it’s so good and cheap. Loved it!!

We loved it so much. Sintia was amazing and so welcoming to us. She showed us coffee sample tastings and the process of the different beans. We also tasted the red berry. Sintias barista skill was fantastic and she was very good at serving us at a high level. She made our day great. The food was very good and all prepared and cooked on site. We loved it so much we went again on our way back to buy coffee beans which we previously forgot. A lovely balinese family owned business, farm and home compound. Highly recommended.

Bali Beans Coffee and Roastery serves the first rate and organic coffee only. It also tastes good and very authentic. The most important that people here are so friendly so you will not only get your coffee but also learn how they process it. Or if you are lucky enough you can also see the process of the production. It is an amazing place to learn about coffee and how they keep ensuring the quality of coffee.

Friendly staff and wonderful detailed explanation of the coffee production process. A family owned business - passionate about their beans and the environment. A portion of the sales go to the community of local farmers and everything is organically farmed and nourished with organic compost, made from the husks of their cherry berries. Would recommend a visit!

The coffee was some of the best I've ever had, and the tour of the plantation was extremely informative and interesting. It's definitely worth the trip for the delicious coffee and very informative tour.

Great experience. The staff was really passionate about their Coffee and thoroughly explained the whole process, with a quick tour through the plantation, differences in the coffee preparation und different coffee versions. We also got to try a lot of other local fruits not related to coffee. Definitely learned a lot about coffee here

Hidden gem! A must visit if you’re around! The coffee is unique and tasty, professionally made with love and care. Was lucky to sit and chat with the owners and learn about their plantation and business! Definitely one of the highlights of the trip! Can’t wait to visit again next time!

We went for a day trip to visit this hidden gem instead of one of the more frequented plantations. Best decision! We did the tour around the plantation, followed by a tasting. People were super friendly and passionate about coffee. Everybody took as much time as we wanted to discuss anything about coffee - really great experience! If you want to visit a plantation were high quality specialty coffee is produced and roasted then this is the perfect place!

Today we visited Bali Beans. I read about them online and approached them via email. Their plantation shows a fair process for a nice coffee. As a result we decided to stop here for a (very) small lunch and a cup of coffee. In addition we were able to get a tour of the plantation and coffee process by a nice girl - Cinthia - although not fluent in English. Another boy joined and they asked if they could take some shots for an Instagram reel. We approved not knowing they would be recording us continuously. Cinthia invited us to harvest some the red cherries of the coffee plant, let us taste them and she let us use the peel-off machine. This was all great fun, although the tour was a bit long because they wanted some additional pictures and we were asked to practice with the boy to improve his English. After the tour we were guided back to the cafe for a tasting of the different coffees by Astri. This was informative and again fun. We decided to buy 4 different bags of coffee - including the Luwak coffee (expensive!). When presented with the bill they added 440.000 IDR (!!!) for the tour, of which they didn’t inform us on any costs beforehand. Speaking in coffee tasting terms: this visit had a very acidic finish. We don’t have an issue paying a contribution for a tour as well as a tip, but this amount is outrageous. They said they included our lunch and drinks in this amount, but do note that paying this separately would have only cost us 153.000 IDR. So less than half of what was added to our bill at this point. Also, as you are buying coffee you would expect a discount on the tour, the fact that we modelled for their social media should have resulted in another discount, let alone practice English with their staff… Finally, the price of this tour is wayyyyyy more expensive than a tour with a private guide through the rice fields during 2 hours (150.000 IDR in total) - so it really is uncanning in every way. After we let them know they should have informed us beforehand they gave a 5% discount. We will probably laugh about this experience in the future, but it for sure means we won’t be suggesting this place to our friends and family and won’t be buying their coffee in the future.

10 out of 10 experience! Must visit whilst in Bali. We have been looking for an ethical plantation, that doesn't keep animals in cages to produce Luwak coffee, although the Bali Beans plantation grows only Arabica beans, they do have limited edition wild Luwak coffee. Animal wonder freely around the plantation and not being put in the small cages to suffer. The team is absolutely amazing, made our time at the plantation to remember! We got to see how the coffee being made and end up in our cup every morning! Super informative experience and absolutely welcoming atmosphere! Cannot recommend enough!

Tasty coffee and what a great & educative experience it has been to have been able to see what coffee plantation is all about and to taste the coffee directly from the plantation itself - full circle!

Amazing place for coffee lovers. So friendly. Recommend manual brewing(v60) with natural processed coffee. (Espresso is not that impressive.)
