    Called for an appointment only to be told they have no idea when that would be. When I asked why, the lady said "I'm not going to open the door to go and see the receptionist to book you an appointment". The rude woman had no understanding as to why people go to see their Dr. Receptionists protect appointments and services as if it's "their" rare commodity. They have no sense of understanding and they do not understand why they're even working in a job that should deal with people with respect and empathy. Eventually told there's an appointment in 4 weeks time. What on earth is happening here....I have lost all confidence in Dr's surgeries and cannot understand why they're regarded in such high praise when they are letting so many people down on all levels. Just read all these reviews on this place. We all can't be bad and wrong! I am leaving this sh....te place and urge others to do so. It's not that hard to transfer elsewhere. Message to reception, "You're in a position to deal with people, YOU chose to work there, please try to empathise with people of this community, help them in whatever way you can. Remember you are no bigger than them just because you sit in a RECEPTIONIST'S chair!"

    As incompetent as they come in regards to the receptionists. I was booked in a few months ago for a Hepatitis B vaccination which couldn’t take place on the day because they had no vaccines in stock. Why on earth they let me turn up to the appointment is beyond me. Since then, they just decided not to contact me to rebook my appointment. 3 months later, they call me to say my prescription’s ready at the desk. Instead of asking me to book in over the phone, they forgot to tell me this and had let me come to the surgery to physically fetch my prescription, hand it in next door, only to be asked by the pharmacist when my appointment was and I didn’t have one. Long story short, I could’ve booked my appointment first over the phone and they could’ve handed the prescription next door which was 6 feet away from the reception desk. It’s not like we’re all trying to lower the covid transmission risk at the moment right? Ridiculous. Train your staff!

    First time visited and the black/african woman with curly hair on level 1 room 29 was a bit rude and was not friendly. Seems like she was exhausted and was rushing with things. Did not greet us with a smile. EDIT: 2nd time visited and was told we don't need to see you cause you had an appointment already in womens hospital. They could of text or called me to let me know. EDIT: 3rd time visited with my 5 month baby. I have mobility problems and prenatal depression, told my dad to give me a ride. I was told the clinic is closed cause its too cold. They could of rang me or text me 😔She did say we rang you or left a message then I had to show her my phone that I didn't.

    This surgery is absolutely horrendous. I don't understand why certain character traits are needed to be hired here. They seem to have no real desire to help people, and if they can avoid an appointment, cancel or rearrange it, they'll do so to make sure less work is done. It's so, so disappointing how glib they are with people's health. I don't normally leave reviews, but this surgery really needs improvement.

    Dr. Ali is the most qualified , kind and cooperative doctor and he understands his patients and guide them to the point (without wasting and taking any extra time) and refers to specialist where required, i found him very competent and helpful when i went there with my daughter with asthma and breathing issue he is the one who diagnosed and gave her the right treatment on the spot and also with all my appointments he is the one who advise me properly , he is not in a rush like others only recommended this surgery because of Dr. ali. Reception staff is also polite too

    Poor communication for the working class. Poor communication, the best answer for everything was "look online" or "google it" very sad state to see what is becoming of NHS. Covid has hindered staff communication hugely. People do not know to communicate professionally.

    Shocking service from doctors. This place really needs to be investigated. No care for patients, doctor doesnt losten to issues or hostipal letters. My mom needed new medicine and doc jus happened to miss GP Recommendations section on letter. Shocking

    They completely robbed me, charged me for 125 pounds for a simple medical form whereas other medical centres are only charging 40-50 pounds. I spoke to the receptionist, and a member of management Dr Saeed and Ms Rose who couldn't give me an answer, instead were blaming each other. This is unprofessional and a complete rip off! Avoid at all cost! Management and staff were completely useless.

    Bad, bad, bad!!!!!!! this place must close down immidatley, people dont realise that they can change thier doctor surgery and continue fuelling this low quality service, this has got to be the worst doctors surgery on the NHS list there can be a worse one, that cant be possible!

    I wouldn't even give a point. Places like these are why ED is piled with soo much people that can get it sorted from GP. But what do you do when your gp is shambolic. They are waste of time. It's like the bigger place they got they've become more d***heads in all aspects compare to when they had the smaller place where rhe Church is now.

    I’m not well I have been positive with covid I’m coughing a lot and I had a call back from DR KHAN thank you so much for the prescription! I’m glad every doctor here is so helpful and the receptionist! THANK YOU ❤️💕❣️

    My name is Louise, I’m severely disabled, I used this clinic for 7yrs. The female dentist was always friendly and came out to our house every 4months to do my check-ups. One Sunday I was in so much pain we took a BlackCab to the Emergency Dental Clinic in the city centre. To my horror the dentist there discovered that my teeth were in such a neglected state, and that rot and decay had been ignored for the entire 7yrs of attending Sparkbrook Clinic!!! I was sent to see a specialist in Erdington and eventually admitted into hospital and extensive repairs and extractions were carried out while I was under Anaesthetic. It was totally traumatic and I struggled to come round after the ordeal. Needless to say, the female dentist was obviously billing the NHS every time she examined me at home but had no intention of doing the job she was being paid for. Disgusting, inhumane, Negligent.

    You cant even call them.....the call waiting will CUT YOU OFF after aay 3 mins trust me it does it. Then you have to eing back and start at back of que again. This used to be a good doctors. Also theres a female doctor is rude and abrupt and moss know it all. No compassion. Dr mattar run this good now its shambles

    I'm so glad staff has changed. I wrote a review a while back and had to change it because the new staff have been so good . I'd like to mention a few names , Dante, Nooran and Becky, they have been very helpful. Also the female receptionists. I love the way the surgery is taking care of everything now.

    This practice needs to get a a grip on the phone service they provide, continually put on hold and then cut off after a couple of minutes.The practice also need to get a better trained set of receptionistd s , the whole practice has gone. From a very good practice to being absolutely rubbish over the summer, for goodness sake sort it out, you are there to serve us as patient s.
