A place where you feel peace, calm and full of devotion. Great place, great infrastructure and great arrangements by the mandir committee for devotees. Mandir is open for the full time so you can visit any time however hug rush on sunday. Best time to go in the early morning where you will not get so much rush.

Temple is well maintained. It was an amazing experience. Although it takes hours for devotees to get the darshan but we were able to do it within 30 minutes (we were lucky). Place is extremely crowded in weekends.

Baba ke darshan were superb.i request the management to manage the queue's more efficently . There is no place to keep shoes they were lying here and there. People had to walk bare feet in this hot summer. They do let senior citizens to skip some queue but some people cant manage without one caretaker. There should not be any bribe and settings for darshan.

Very Holy Place. A must visit. Around one hour drive from Sikar. Small place with huge followings. During my visit there was heavy rush at temple and took almost one hour to darshan. A very famous temple especially for the Marwari community all over India. Darshan does not take much time except on special days like Ekadashi and during the famous Mela which is around Holi every year. I have not visited it during the Fagun Mela, but it is a very unique experience and not to be missed. Do visit this temple and Baba Shyam shall take care of all your worries. Jai Shree Shyam

According to Hindu mythology, Khatu Shyam Ji is the manifestation of the son of Ghatotkacha, Barbarika. It is a pilgrimage site for worshipping the deity Krishna ji and Barbarika ji who is often venerated as a Kuladevata. Honest review: Temple is good. Jai Shree Shyam. But the city is a bit unmanaged and basic infrastructure, like proper roads, is missing. Also there is no proper guideline to do barricading during rush, as a result chaos arises among devotees who come from far and are not able to reach their accommodation places. Management and Police should plan and manage well.

[22/10] Khatu Shyam Temple is good. Even during rush days you can easily get a place to stay. There is enough space for parking. It's quite a popular temple with a huge rush of devotees. It is a well managed queue system, with a small section not properly queued, which sometimes causes a strong push pull force, which is quite Bad. I noticed one more thing is that, the security or management is very harsh to devotees. They are dragging devotees from the temple front, in a way they might have committed any sort of crime. I have gone to many big temples, but have never seen such bad behaviour. If I were allowed to use the phone, I could film and show it. Anyone, who has seen such an incident, please raise a voice to stop such kind of behaviour from security.

The Khatu Shyam Temple, located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Devotees from all over the India visit this temple to seek blessings and participate in religious ceremonies. It's worth noting that the temple can get crowded, especially during festivals and special occasions, which might make it challenging for some visitors to have a peaceful worship experience. However, the devout atmosphere and the religious fervor of the devotees make the Khatu Shyam Temple a significant religious destination in Rajasthan (India).

I'm a bengali from Kolkata married to a Rajasthani girl from Jaipur. I found it extremely intersting that Khatu Shyam ji is a major pilgrimage site for Marwaris from Kolkata. The first thing which struck me was the colourful facade of the main temple. Have never seen any other Mandir structure like it. Felt the story of Barbarika and his moral stand at Kurukshetra was fascinating. The emergence of Shri Shyam Ji, and how the worshipped idol came to acquire its current look, is also interesting. Despite the intense pressure of visitors, the temple has successfully managed to utilise whatever little space it has. Broadly clean, without much hassle. The approach road is congested and snakes along the old village of Khatu. Devotees need to persevere though. The wait time can be 25-30 minutes even on lean days. We were lucky enough to know people who got us in through a backdoor VIP entry. That unfortunately means you can get access if you know the right man in the temple administration.

An old place of worship with thousands and lakes of devotees visiting everyday... There are lots of colorful shops that sell sweets and flowers for the prayer that takes place inside the temple. Also, you can experience good Indian Thali (a platter with a number of Indian foods). There are shops that sell dresses and ornaments of the idol also. It's a good place if you wish to visit the India of the devotees...

Shree shyam baba khatu mandir is one of the famous and precious places in Rajasthan. This is just 17KM away from Ringus, RJ. Early Morning darshan starts till noon and then in evening till night. There is only one entry point with multiple exits. There are 8 -10 lines for darshan. Keep your footwear at the hotel/car/ near the exit point. Fans and coolers are installed at every place for pilgrims. Wait for your turn and keep in one queue. Don't take prasad from the market as mandir trust avoids taking prasad for bhog, you can take Rose as a symbol of pray

The Khatushyam Temple is a Hindu temple in the village of Khatushyamji, Rajasthan, (Sikar district) India. It is a pilgrimage site for worshipping the deity Krishna and Barbarika who is often venerated as a Kuladevata. Devotees believe the temple houses the head of Barbarika or Khatushyam, a legendary warrior who sacrifices his head upon the request of Krishna during the antebellum of the Kurukshetra War. Before the beginning of the Mahābhārata battle, Barbarika's last wish was to see the war "Mahabharat" so Lord krishna himself placed his head on the top of a mountain for Barbarika to see the war. Many years after Kali Yuga started, the head was found buried in the village of Khatu (District- Sikar) in present-day Rajasthan. The location was obscured until well after the Kali Yuga period began. Then, on one occasion, milk started flowing spontaneously out of a cow's udder when she neared the burial spot. Amazed at this incident, the local villagers dug the place up and the buried head was revealed. The head was handed over to a Brahmin who worshipped it for many days, awaiting divine revelations as to what was to be done next. Roopsingh Chauhan, king of Khatu, then had a dream where he was inspired to build a temple and install the head therein. Subsequently, a temple was built and the idol was installed on the 11th day of the Shukla Paksha (bright half) of the month of Phalgun.

Khatu Shyam ji is great place . It's a hindu temple . It's situated 60km away from Jaipur Rajasthan .If you want to go there by train then you have to come at ringas junction . Khatu Shyam ji is almost 16 km away from ringas . Because there is not any direct train for khatu shyam ji .but ringas is a nearest railway station to the khatu shyam ji . From ringas you can go by auto Or by bus . . It's a really great place .

The management here is also good. I have visited 7-8 times here and my next trip is soon. I love coming here. For all devotees, I would suggest visiting here once and You will realise why. All types of guests are welcomed here. Officially there is no VIP access here. It takes 2-3 hours to have Darshan here.

Khatushyamji temple is very famous in Rajasthan and hariyana. This is just 17 km. Away from ringus. Khatushyamji is known as "Barbarik" related from "Mahabharat" . This is very peaceful and full of energy. Falgun month is most crowded month because there is a big fair of baba shyam in all falgun month. Every month's ekadashi is so much crowded. Temple's management staff very bad . Very beautiful temple of Rajasthan. When you come Rajasthan, definitely visit this temple. "Jai shree shyam 🙏"

A divine place and it is very popular among the devotees. Multiple car parking are available near the temple. Rest of the journey can be covered on foot or via e rickshaw. Multiple sweet shops are located outside the temple or way to the temple. Less crowded on weekdays. Temple is almost empty on a regular weekday afternoon. Arrangements could be better.

Arrangements to reach sancto sanctum of Khatu Shyam ji are good. But Guards and staff standing near the Idol are very rude, will not allow you to have full glimpse of Khatu Shyam ji. U have to make online booking on shine's site from entry gate of pathway made in village to reach shrine is almost one and a half kilometer walk. Then entry to temple gate from there u have to cross cross more than 100 barricades or zigzag railings put up to control crowd. Beware make arrangement of your footwears as temple authorities have not made any arrangements for it or at least I could not find one. Then still bigger shortcoming was non availability of public Toilets/ washrooms. If u have to stand in a queue for more than 2 hours you should have capacity to hold nature's call at bay. Authorities please take care of these 2 glaring shortcomings.

Amazing spiritual place... Very Interesting and amazing history... (Check Google) Always good numbers of followers you will find here ..still good management...I will advise you to reach here before 8 AM. Suggestions- Try to park your vehicle as near as possible to the temple.. Left your footwears in the vehicle.. If you are some family members then you should remain in the same line...as those don't intersect later on... Keep a water bottle with you..

Shri Krishna was very pleased with the great sacrifice of Veer Barbarik and gave a boon that in Kali Yuga you will be known as Shyam, because in that era only the one who supports the loser is capable of wearing Shyam. their The distance of Khatu Shyam Mandir from Jaipur is 80 kms. The distance from Ringas to Shyam Mandir is about 18 kms. The distance from Delhi to Khatu Shyam Mandir is 266 kms.

हारे का सहारा श्याम हमारा | This is one of the most popular places in India. People are so deeply attached here and believe that when you come here with a pure heart, your all wishes will be fulfilled. This is a sacred place. The vibes are addictive. Some people just walk barefooted till the Temple. On the sides of the road, the management has put the soft soil so that people don't get hurt. Jai Baba Khatu Shyam Ji ki!

  • 2/5 Sahil K. 8 months ago on Google
This rating is only for management. One of the worest management I have ever seen in any temple. Security is there just to argue people. They have made 6 to 10 guardrails type entry which makes it alsi worst. People are throwing roses and bottels of ittar from one side to other side which can hurt people by thorn of roses or broken bottels. So I visitrd shree khatoo shyam Mandir on 18 and 19 of june in evening. When you sre going to mandir for the first time there is posters saying way to mandir. Don't follow them they are misleading and force you to go more kilometers which can be easily cover by asking of people way to mandir. Then you reach near the mandir there is security gaurds but they are not checking or taking flowers from you(as shown in many video that security gaurds will take flowers from you so that you cannot throw it in front of mandir which can cause hurt to anybody). So when reached to entrance security gaurds are stopping people from going in guardrails 1 to 4 and forcing people to go in other lines despite the fact that there is hardly rush in that lane. By the way 1st line is for VIP entry or entry allowed to people who are known to them. Then came another risky party shopkeeper aside to lane came walking on guardrails to sell parshad and flowers. If their foot slip from it, which can cause hurt to people and that selller too. Don't know why management allows it or security guards are not stopping them. There is cooler on some part which is good, but not enough as for whole part. There is banner of the management. Then you go ahead then there came some part attached to guardrails in which you can put parshad, daan, flowers and ittar. If you go ahead there you can see mandir. If your height is small then you can be disappointed if you are in last lane. There is some mandir or something else in front of mandir, but that part is covered by banner so don't know what was that. For that you have to go again by taking a round and go from last line which was different line from others and only in this line they are throwing something may be that was water pouches and for other lane why that partiality. And in front of mandir there is security gaurds too they are pushing go ahead go ahead. Which is also not good for first time watching people who didn't have a chance to see fairly and proper. And from that you will reach at the end of the part which is different directions from you entered. In in this process there is stone and other things which are poking and hurting you foot. Other than that you all know the history of the temple as Krishan bhagwan cut the head of Barbarik son of ghatotkacha who is son of Bhim and put it here. On ekadashi there is fair. And on falgun there is big fair and a large number of visitors came here to worship. Parking is way away from mandir. Which take high charges. And there is also unbearable rule by collector that no one give room to single person for public safety as they can disturb the peace, but same thing can be done by two people  or a group indirectly its bad for khatoo premi who is coming single. Hotels and guest house are expensive and some of them are don't have attached toilets.  There is garbage on some part. They are garbage truck taking garbage but after sometine there is same condition. Management needs to take some guidance from Salasar Balajidham, Somnath and Mahakal Jyotirlinga. There is no need to go reengus road. If you went there early morning then there is no rush of people. First experience not so good.

Jai shree Shyam, This temple is situated at Khatu nearby ringas. It is well connected by road and train. The temple has been redeveloped recently with extended facilities. Now many people can be blessed with Darshan at a time. The vibes are charismatic here and you feel something different. There are many small hotels and lodges to stay for a shorter time. The devotees have big faith in Shree Khatu Shyam ji. You can read the whole story of How Shri Veer Barbarik known as Khatu Shyamji in Mahabharat. This temple is World famous and devotees from around the globe come here.

  • 5/5 Yash S. 4 months ago on Google
Khatu is the God of the Kaliyuga and it is believed that Lord Krishna had declared that Shyamji's (Barbarika) devotees would be blessed and their wishes would be granted. Also there are places like khatushyam kund where u can go which also have some good benefit. There are a lot of places for staying and viewing as it has developed quite a bit in the last few months . And the place can be quiet crowded so do keep a check on your belongings. To know more about the history read the para below 👇. . Barbarik is known as Khatushyam Ji in Rajasthan and Baliyadev in Gujarat. It is said that he was brought down by Lord Krishna before the great war in Kurukshetra so that his grandfathers’ (Pandavas) victory could be sealed. He was idolized as a result of his sacrifice, thanks to a blessing bestowed by Krishna. As per Hindu mythology, Khatu Shyam Ji is Barbarik’s incarnation, a god of the defeated, as he always supported the one who is defeated. As the ancient legend goes, Barbarik is a Hindu deity, usually worshipped in the western region of our country. He was the grandson of Bhima, the second Pandava, and the son of Ghatotkach and Maurvi. Maurvi was the daughter of Daitya Moor, a Baniyo ruler. All this is stated in the Skanda Purana, even though some claim that Barbarik was a warrior who hailed from the south.

Barbarik was an extremely brave and powerful warrior since childhood. Seeing the same force skill of Barbarik, Agni Dev gave him a special bow, and Lord Shiva gave him three arrows as a boon. Due to this boon, barbarians began to be called "three arrows." After seeing the fierce battle of the Mahabharata, Barbaric expressed his desire to become a witness of war. He allowed his mother to go to war and took out all the three arrows to fight for the war. When the barbarians were going to war then Lord Shri Krishna told them to take their exams that no one can win the battle with only three arrows. Explaining the significance of the three arrows, Barberik said that his first arrow will mark the fixed places and the second and third arrows can safely secure and destroy those places. Because of this boon received from Barbarik, both Kauravas and Pandavas wanted to keep them in their favor. Then Lord Krishna demanded his head from the form of a Brahmin and donated it to Barbarik. Due to this strange demand, Barbaric asked them to come to him in their true form. Then Shri Krishna appeared and told Barbarik as the heroic Kshatriya and warrior of that war, he told him that the sacrifice of the most heroic and Kshatriya warrior in the battle is very important. Therefore, hearing his such promise, Barbriak cut his head and gave it to Shri Krishna as a gift. Then Lord Shri Krishna saw his wonderful gift and gave him a boon that he will be known in the entire world as the name of "Shyam" in the name of Shri Krishna. Importance of Khatu Shyam Temple Lord Krishna dedicated the barbaryak's head to the river Rupvati at the end of the war. Then in Kaliyug, Khatu Shyam Mandir was established in Phalgun month after the dream of the king of Khatu village and the wonders surrounding the Shyam Kund. On the 11th day of Shukla Masat, the Khatu Baba was installed in that temple. In 1720 AD, Deewan Abhayasinh rebuilt this temple and since then the glow of that temple is still alive. The recognition of Shyam Kund is in the country and abroad. It is believed that the devotees who take a shower in this pool, their every wish is fulfilled.
