Being an international student, i found CSU more as my second home. I cherished many great memories in my 2 years stay at CSU. Thanks to all my professors and my team at Conference Services at Student Center and Recreational Center team for believing me and supporting me. I am proud CSU student.

The students are mean and not very bright. There is nothing in the way of career services, so you'll have a LOT of trouble finding a good job when you graduate. Recruiters from major companies don't even bother to talk to students from this school. Check CSU's graduation rate to see for yourself. It is only 33%. This place is a waste of time and money.

I love the school so much because of the environment and the opportunity you get in the city! The school and learning environment is a 4/5 stars--But the school call operators in financial aid, scholarships, or in all departments are so unprofessional. I would be hesitant to call them because every call operator makes my blood boil EVERY time I call! I live 30-45 min away from the school... I'm not going to drive up there to get the exact answers I need. I know that some may be student workers, but CSU need to train them better. Every question would end with "I don't know" "i'm not sure" ARE YOU SERIOUS. Every operator I've spoke to just don't care at all, and don't want to help me find the answers to my questions. It's so sad that a school like CSU would have these type of people represent the school like this. do. better. sis.

They're not clear about fees with international students. My friends are facing problems related that universe first told that students can pay 1st semester of tution fee and housing compulsory. And when they reached at the university first time the global staff at University forced on the atudents to pay whole tution fee, and compulsory housing And dining. And this is the reason that many students are facing problems in the fall 2023. They have very bad services for students, they only care about money and not about education, they do not let any student enroll for classes without paying fees for 2 semesters in advance, they make international students college life very bad in USA. You can consider others universities instead of this.

CSU from Chester Avenue. Clean. Busy. Watch out for careless speeding drivers. They definitely aren't looking out for those hoofing it.

I'm a business student currently in my third year at CSU (transferred from Kent State) and have nothing but good things to say about this school. The campus is beautiful and right in the center of Downtown, giving you easy access to tons of interesting things to do in Cleveland. The general vibe of the campus is very laid back and friendly, and despite what other reviews seem to say, this is a very liberal/progressive and diverse school with many students of all walks of life. I feel I have received a perfectly adequate education at CSU, as someone who cares mainly about getting ready for a career and moving into the business world. There are good professors and bad ones, but the majority of them have been very likeable and knowledgeable. Many of my business professors have lots of real world experience and many years working in their field. I cannot comment on the other departments, but the business school is excellent and has many career services available to students. As a commuter student I love the RTA pass they provide, so I don't have to worry about driving and parking downtown (yes, their parking situation is pretty terrible here). Finally I'd like to say shame on the idiots who are giving my school 1-star reviews because of a faux pas made by the administration. The first amendment comment was misinformed, but it's far from supporting the offensive poster. Anyone trying to paint CSU as anti-LGBTQ because of that poster debacle is ignorant.

Great campus in the heart of the city of Cleveland. Facilities, buildings. Auditoriums, public sharing spaces, architected walkways all are impressive. A great environment for studious and hard working students, learners eager to succeed in life.

Have been to CSU for my masterā€™s degree in Education back in 2014. The college is overall very good and is getting better since then. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend attending this college for graduate studies.

I love Cleveland State. I am a biology pre-med major and the department is great. However, if you live in the dorms, don't plan on getting your mail anytime soon. It takes at least 10 days added on to the normal mail time to receive any type of letter or package. I ended up just getting a P.O. box at a local post office. The education and clubs are great. There are so many great opportunities here to take advantage of. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to live in the city and get a great education.

Hmmm I guess it's better than most state colleges. The campus police are seriously good for nothing. But the professors are very wise and knowledgeable, the students are chill, the university really seems like they want you to graduate. So I guess it's good.

Csu is great besides the terrible parking. If you drive your better off not using the public meters and just pay the school, they give tickets heavily near the campus daily l. I am lucky because I live close so I stop driving and just walk I saved alot of money.

I love Cleveland State University. Cleveland State University provides me so many great opportunities and support along the time I have been in the program. I have learned from many great professors who are very knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful. In addition, all staffs at CSU who I worked with or who I asked for help are very friendly, polite, and very helpful. I have never been regretted to be part of this school.

The assistance provided to international students is inadequate. The initial information stated that we would only need to pay for housing and tuition for the first semester. However, when we arrived at the university, we were told that we needed to pay for a full year of tuition, housing, and meals

They have very disappointed service for international students. The first told you can pay only 1st semester fee of housing and tution fees. But when we reached at the university they forced on us to pay whole year payment of tution, housing and compulsory dining. So their behaviour is very bad to communicate with undergraduate student.
