    It’s nearly impossible to get an appointment with them. Had to complete an online form. Sometimes they don’t call you back as promised. So when you try to call them back, you have to wait nearly 1 hr for someone to answer. When someone finally does answer, it’s usually a receptionist who has no clue what’s going on. They will tell you to complete the online form again. When I asked them, can I speak with a Doctor, they told me they currently have no appointments available but will start to take them from tomorrow so call us back tomorrow. I insist I did everything you asked me to do, and I don’t won’t call back tomorrow because I need to wait again for 1 hr for someone to answr. Then she told me the doctor will call me tomorrow. I miss those days when you can walk in and book an appointment within few days. Now everything is complicated.

    Very professional to fill statements to show the government that they are very busy, but in fact they do nothing for the patients. I am registered here and I have some heart and blood pressure problems, every week they call me and fill a new statement and then nothing. If your time and your life are valuable, don’t join this extremely terrible gp.

    Absolutely appalling! I took my daughter here to see a doctor due to suspected asmtha first of all the doctor told my child to be quiet because she was giving her a headache, secondly the doctor then said I do not have time to wait for her to stop crying so that I can do the test because I am running behind. What an earth happened to compassion? She then without even touching my child decided that there was nothing wrong with her and that I shouldn't waste my money on any medicine and to only bring her back if shes struggling to breathe. Absolutely disgusting.

    If I could leave a zero I would. If I could find a different surgery I would! 1 hour and a half wait on phone to talk to someone. The manager told me 49% patients (or to her we are 'customers') are satisfied....really? spend an hour in their waiting room.....and that would also mean over half are dissatisfied. Not a number I would want to boast about!!

    Sometimes I honestly feel this surgery is more interested in punishing it's patients as opposed to treating them. I understand it's not necessarily the surgery at fault and has more to do with the strain on the NHS. The surgery was much better 5-10 years back, you could always get an appointment quickly. Now you call and will wait for hours & hours just to get through only to have the call get cut for some odd reason- it's almost like they don't WANT you to call (Haha!). It's very sad. Townsfield doctor surgery used to at the very least be a three star surgery. Now? The scores speak for themselves..and I'm willing to bet the 1 star will one day become 0 stars, because they don't have the time nor the resources to care/fix the situation.

    I honestly don’t understand how this surgery operates. You are unable to make appointments without having to wait weeks on end. They have a stupid system that does not work. Staff make errors that waste your time and don’t offer any apologies or make things right. You get told different things from different reception staff. They are now advertising for new patients intake when existing patients can’t get appointments! Useless!

    The Maladministration at this surgery is probable cause for patient fatality. Put your complaint in writing by email to them. They will not reply. Then file your case with Parliamentary Ombudsman. This practice needs to be audited and held accountable for successive gross errors.

    I called at around 6.15pm. The surgery was due to close around 7pm. I remained as "1st in the queue" for all that time? Without the call processing any further. Clearly, the call was ignored due to the upcoming long Easter weekend. This is not the 1st time something like this has happened. I understand there are deadlines to meet but callers will not be taking all day or all night. We waste alot of our precious time, waiting in these call queues, considering we also have families and kids and other work to attend to. Why cant we all be considerate about each other whether its personal or professional. One common goal between the two is: Helping humanity

    This is surgery is the worst in Hillingdon Borough. You can’t make an appointment via phone, online or face to face. All I get if you not well go to A&E. When I go A&E they say why doesn’t your GP do anything, because they don’t give any appointments. Few receptionists and few doctors needs to be looked at or I’m taking this further atleast authorities will investigate this pathetic surgery. If I am going to grave I am taking them with me..

    Had txt from dr to book appointment / repeat tests .can not get through to surgery. Can not find web site link to do appointment. On line. Very poor service. Desperate to get thorough to dr Practice Needs closing down and a new practice to be opened. Have been with surgery when at old site.used to be one of the best. Now say Townfield practice and hospital consultants eyes rise. Would not give 1/2 star . Sorry to say. What is health commission doing about this practice.

    There has to be a better way of getting an appointment! I’ve been on hold for over an hour and I’m still caller number 3!! Sort this out immediately! Or make all your appointments available to book online! Do not talk more patients on until you can sort this out! Disgraceful service! Avoid at all costs

    ATROCIOUS GP SURGERY! I don't even know how they are still open after so many years of terrible health care and customer services. I spoke with a lady on Friday, who confirmed my prescription would be ready to collect on Monday - I stupidly did not take her name. As I work full time, my mother went to collect my prescription on my behalf, and thank god I didn't book a holiday to go myself because they suddenly decided that I had been removed from the patient list. Even though I received a prescription from them last year, which the lady on the phone on Friday confirmed. Why did the lady on Friday not inform me that I had been removed from this GP surgery. Why did they not inform me of this last year? Apparently no one can help me and a manager would call me back, but the receptionist is not sure that the manager is in. So who runs this GP? Who is the manager? Why can nobody help you? What kind of an establishment is this? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    If this surgery was a food establishment then it would be closed down. Doctor refusing to come out to attend my father in law despite him being towards the end of his terminal cancer. Doctor told us to put him in a home! The gluttonous money these GPs are paid does not align with the health care they provide. I'm very close to making a complaint to the ICB.

    Not worth a single star....I called for an appointment at 08:30, i kept being cut off when i pressed 1 for appointments (until 08:42) I called again at 08:44 and was then on hold for appointments. I was kept on hold so i decided to go to surgery and book in person by 08:49 i was at the surgery. Thinking that there was a long queue and they might be extremely busy with patients, there was absolutely no one around, apart from one or two patients inside, and guess what?? there was no queue and i was on hold till caller number 6, and both the receptionists were just casually having a chit chat while 6 people are on hold on the phone. When i proceeded to the counter to book an appointment they realised i was on hold on their lines, and their faces dropped once they realised I had witnessed what was going on. They obviously had the realisation that patients are waiting on hold and they are not taking calls, and someone actually caught them out. I was unable to book an appointment as amazingly all appointments were full in about 18 minutes. I have left this review at my own risk, as I know that the Surgery will not appreciate being outed like this. I request the management to look into this and have some people who are empathetic towards others manning their phones. Its disgusting that people are ill or need help and the receptionists think its acceptable to ignore patients.

    Over a week ago, my 9-year-old son, experienced something that left me utterly shocked, outraged and deeply heartbroken. During his asthma review, a healthcare assistant had the audacity to tell him directly to his face that he needed to lose weight. I could not believe it! In that moment, I found my voice and spoke up against this unacceptable behavior. As a result, the person involved refused to continue the appointment. We had to return the next day to finish the review, but thankfully, we were seen by someone who was incredibly supportive and understanding. I must mention that his asthma is currently under control, thanks to his dedication to exercise and healthy eating! However, the story doesn't end there. Despite filing a formal complaint on the same day, I have yet to receive a phone call from the practice manager, despite requesting one three times already. Instead, all I received was a letter yesterday, informing me that the complaint had been logged and that I should expect a response within 28 days. This is absolutely disgusting! Bodyshaming is horrific in itself, but subjecting a child to it is devastating. The lack of action and response from the healthcare provider during this period of time is not only disheartening but also potentially detrimental to my son's mental health. As a parent, I refuse to let this slide. Our children deserve better. They should feel safe, respected, and supported when seeking medical care. I implore the practice manager to take immediate action, address this issue, and ensure that no child or individual has to endure such body-shaming and insensitive behavior. Let's raise awareness about the impact of bodyshaming on children's mental health and demand accountability from healthcare providers. Together, we can create a world where every child is celebrated for their uniqueness, rather than being subjected to harmful judgments. #EndBodyShaming #SupportOurChildren #AccountabilityMatters #MentalHealthMatters

    Just had a call with the practice manager regarding my phone call being cut off once I get to caller number one and her response was that I was the only patient complaining. It’s the same issue every time I call. I don’t have an issue regarding the hold time but I do have an issue being cut off. She is rude and talks over you and then tries to twist what you’ve said. Not happy and she needs to have some training regarding customer service.

    I have been calling for 3 weeks now, sifferent times of day and different days an no1 picks up the phone. I get cut off after 30 minutes and I call again and same thing happens. I need to book an appt for mt elderly mum to see a doctor and cannot get through. When I go into the sirgery, they twll me to keep teying the phone line! I cannot call 8am gor a possible appt straight away or latr in the day as I live further than my mum and there isn't enough time if they give her an appt straight away as it wouldn't leave enough time for me to drive over to her to pick her up and take her. There needs to be someone answering those phones as otherwise my mum says to leave it amd she is only getting worse. I am usually on the phone 2 t 3 hours, where i get cut off automatically after 30 minutes and call straight back only to hold on again for 30 minutes again.

    Worse doctor’s surgery in town, never pick up the phone staff are so rude at the reception… waste of public money… even when you come in to the surgery you won’t get an appointment… e consult website is even worse and doesn’t work !

    The worst Gp surgery I ever seen. Can’t book appointment that easy and once made no one gets back to you no nurse or doctor, staff is very much rude and not helpful at all, they are treating you as if they own the surgery, this is a waste of taxpayers money and a disgrace to NHS. I would never recommend this to anyone.

    Worst surgery ever only getting worse especially recently with the. Change in how anything is requested now, nearly impossible to speak to a human as they want you to do everything online. Tried to ring on 5 separate occasions and still not able to talk to anyone, either get told to ring back tomorrow by the automated service or it just rings and no one ever answers it. Had to deal with a rude receptionist twice who was in the wrong about my prescription but still treated me as if I was wrong. The load of negative reviews speak for their selves.

    Iam very happy with the surgery. I have been a patient with them for more than 12 years and I always found them very helpful and understanding. I always felt reassured after seeing my doctors or the nurses or the HCAs. If I was unable to book an appointment on the phone, there was e-consult or most recently Patchs where I could put down my issue, and I used to get a call from the surgery the same day offering me an appointment. It is saddening to read the bad reviews on my doctors surgery, when they are actually trying to do their best. Help them to help you! Townfield, you are doing a great job! Keep it up!

    I am trying to get appointment last one week after urgent blood test. But I couldn’t take appointment receptionist not helpful at all. Every days my job trying to call surgery numbers no answers. Suddenly cut the phone. After few times waiting on call last Thursday they answer and said try on Tuesday they will give appointment. Then called Tuesday I couldn’t get answer phone calls from the surgery. Then after closed appointment times I get answer my call and they said do it online econsulting. But always that’s also not available to book. Can you please tell me what can I do?? I am really very disappointed on your service.

    Beverly the receptionist. What a lady she is!. I couldn't praise her enough for her professional, empathic approach towards me and respecting confidentiality at all times meant so much to me. She put me at ease immediately. I do not go to the surgery lots but i couldnt have asked for a better young lady to discuss my issue with. More like her please!. Thank you Beverly

    Absolute joke of a surgery that you can NEVER get an appointment despite waiting hours at a time on the phone. There is no urgency whatsoever even for children who have additional needs. Hardly any of the Doctors have a good command of English which can endanger patients as there is a lack of basic communication and comprehension. Doctor admitted to putting incorrect notes on my child’s profile intended for another child only when I turned up at the surgery with his worsening symptoms due to phones never being answered. Utterly unacceptable. Complaint to NHS England, CQC pending.

    The WORST Doctors in UK, PLEASE please AVOID this place at ANY cost. We made the mistake of staying with them and it cost us our child's life. There is NO Care, They are JUST after your MONEY, really really Poor Service,.     Being apart of this surgery for many years and my past experiences haven't been good but and I'm actually really pleased to say the service and reception has improved a lot in recent months , i have to used the surgery many times recently and the service has been really helpful , keep up the great work!
