A few years ago I went to this gym to see if I wanted to increase my membership level. The way I was treated by staff will forever leave me scarred, as is likely evident by how much of a bother it is, now years later. I was followed around as if I was not trusted and not welcomed. Two staff members even followed me at a distance out to my vehicle as I left. All of this presumably was because I don't drive a Mercedes and wasn't wearing Oakley gear to work out. The harassment and mistreatment I experienced from the employees of this establishment are thus that I will never visit one from this company again.

Such a poor customer service! Moved out to a different state for new adventure, where Lifetime is not in the business and yet they charged me a month fees for freckling 30 day notice period. Tried to explain that's not my mistake going to a place where lifetime is not establish but the manager was so rude at me asking to sign the documents and move out. I was 200 miles away from any LT fitness center, to cancel my subscription, they mandated me to visit any of this locations, I had to drive down just to sign couple papers. Never again to lifetime fitness center. Such a shame on their part!

Great pool. Service at pool most hours (alcohol too). Pool busy on Weekends. Gym not busy in the mornings/afternoons, respectfuly busy in evenings and weekends. Very expensive ~160$ a month!! And rates increase every year. Free wifi. In house bar/restaurant, steam room/hot tube in each bath (m/f). Free towels and "sweat rags".

I am a current member at this club and enjoy working out here as well as using the facilities. However, the Cafe is quite subpar. I just ordered a burger, waited 35 minutes, and then received a burger that was not cooked near to how I requested, and with every single fixing I asked to be removed from it. I also did not receive the drink I ordered even when the cashier told me she would go get it right away. When the same waitress walked by my table without my food I said, “Excuse me?” and was entirely ignored. Entirely. This entire experience was absolutely terrible and I may never eat at the Cafe here again because of this terrible service. To add insult to injury, the waitress was rude when placing my food on my table. I am annoyed and disappointed in the LifeCafe.

This place is a joke. I don't go to the gym to eat sushi, I go to workout. The restaurant/bar, the spa, the basketball courts... everything is nice about this gym EXCEPT the gym. The weight room is tiny and has no equipment and the cardio machines are the same. The gold club in Lakeville is WAY better than this so-called diamond club. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Nice club although I wish I could say the same about the people who go here. Seems very snobby.

I just started working out following surgery. I had a great Trainer that put together an achievable program for me. The facility is beautiful, clean, seems to be always busy and attended by people of all ages and abilities.

I’ve been a Lifetime member across the Twin Cities for the last 15 years. The Eden Prarie club has been the first to feel like home. I drive 15 miles to come here and it’s worth every minute. It’s not the newest or the flashiest, but the vibe is wonderful. Mike, the GM, has developed a culture that’s welcoming and best in class. The facilities are sparkling clean and the amenities are Country clubesque. Check it out for yourself- you’ll never want to leave!

Expensive. But I really like it. It's more of a country club than a gym. I notice many patrons who are retired or with their families. The fitness class offerings are a little light in the evenings, but I find that I get what I need! I considered joining CorePower, but that was really expensive with no variety. I find similar rigor in the Warrior Sculpt yoga classes (and some overlap of instructors). Used to work out at LA, and loved it, but the options near my house weren't great when I moved. For me, location was key! Can't sit in traffic on your way to the gym. Now, I ride my bike!

Not a typical Lifetime. Usually most Lifetimes are consistent in quality from coast to coast but I was surprised at this club. After visiting a few other Onyx level gyms(lower tier) in the area that are fantastic, I thought for sure this was going to be amazing. But I was wrong. As someone else mentioned, this is more county club then gym. With mostly retirees it seems as its clientele. Here are my issues. The gym is tiny compared to other lifetimes. The locker room is small. Limited equipment and it feels like you are working out on top of other people. Cant even imagine this place on a Monday. I ended up just leaving in the middle of my normal routine I was so annoyed. The lifecafe is also tiny but for some reason they have a whole sushi and steak restaurant. As well as full bar. It is like they forgot this is a gym. I think that is nice but not when it seems like they sacrificed the workout area. The staff was cordial and there is also indoor tennis courts if your into that. Can't fathom paying diamond level prices if this was my full time gym but apparently people do. If you are serious about a complete workout, I would suggest another location.

Love, love, love it here, except for some of the trainers. Every time I workout there, I feel like I’m getting judged. The best part is being able to treat myself at the rare restaurant!

Exorbitantly expensive. If you don't value pickleball or having a restaurant in your gym, it's not worth it. They are nice people but I wasn't impressed with the childcare or facilities for $300+ a month for my family

Been a Lifetime Fitness Member for over 12 years. I love this facility and the equipments they offer here are definitely state of the art. The staff is super cordial. The ambience is great as well. Best locker rooms, steam and sauna facilities as well

I visit Life Time in Eden Prairie every morning and various evenings each week. The staff greets you each day and everyone is very friendly. The locker rooms are clean, have nice products to use when getting ready and the lockers are rarely busy. The workout space is clean, well maintained and has nice bright windows letting in a lot of natural light. The pool is great and the dining options are fantastic. The instructors of each class are absolutely amazing - they get to know you by name if you talk to them after or before class, they give you a challenging workout and one of my personal favorite classes (Yoga Sculpt) has lavender infused towels passed out while you're relaxing at the end of class....SUCH a treat after a tough workout. Another great thing about this facility is the location. Within steps outside the club's front door are running paths and trails that have great views of Purgatory Creek and connects to Staring Lake as well. Compared to other fitness gyms and other Life Time locations I have belonged to in the past, Eden Prairie Life Time feels like such a retreat each day I visit! It's a classy place with everything you need and more to enjoy a full workout and relaxation experience.

Top notch quality today 2022 as it was in 2015 like I remember! Waitresses at the pool, serving great food and alcoholic beverages. Great for the kids. Pool indoor and outdoors. Tennis courts, bar, spa, classes, weights and personal trainers available!

I just love it here. Everyone has been awesome. I have everything I need. A family style like staff who put your needs first and are going to do everything they can to point you in the right direction.

Hats off to this locations manager Michael. He handled a situation where someone was being unsafe in the gym better than most companies would 😌

Used the club for UTR and USTA tennis every Sunday - well organized and good court to try tournaments.

My wife and I are new to elderly workouts. Staff seems very capable and willing to go the extra mile to help us newcomers get up to speed. The other members help us as well. Comfortable atmosphere.

Great club and great location. My only complaint is that cell phone usage in the locker rooms has gotten out of control here more than other nearby clubs. Having to change with someone pointing their camera at you is awkward, I haven’t seen management do anything about this.

One of the best Lifetime locations next to the Edina location. Awesome massage staff and there’s robes! Lots of space in the gym to workout, hangout, eat, and rest!

  • 1/5 Frank D. 1 year ago on Google
Why are the trainers and corporate staff that GET PAID TO BE THERE, taking up cafe spots from the people that PAY TO BE THERE?!?! Is this a health club or a corporate office for the trainers? Every time I go here there are 1-5 trainers taking up cafe spots to hold internal meetings with other trainers or participate in virtual calls with other lifetime staff. Dont even get me started on the middle aged woman that listens to meetings full volume, no headphones, loud talker, like get an office or work from home!!!!!!

The Sauna door stays open and Sauna isn't even hot because of a vortex air pressure leak caused by other main door to locker rooms. The fountain in Mens locker room doesn't work either. The mens locker room is cool due to some outside winter air somehow getting in. Worst lifetime setup I've seen. Also the Steam room button keeps turning on hot steam and people continuosly press it and it makes the whole steam room too hot to stay in for more than a few minutes. like I'm talking way too much wet hot heat. The tiles in the mens jacuzzi are also falling apart with many deep chips and missing tiles. Other Lifetimes are fine though.

I've been a Life Time member (on and off) for about 20 years. At this season of life (family of 7), Life Time is one of the core parts of our family life. The leadership and staff at this location is friendly, professional, and very hard working. They strive to provide a VIP type of experience for guests, and it shows. Over the past 9 months, my wife and I discovered their Alpha group fitness classes -- these have been a revelation to us! We are hooked on attending these classes. These classes are a bit like Cross Fit, but a bit more approachable (by that I mean, slightly less technical in nature than some Cross Fit workouts tend to be). The trainers that lead these classes are excellent. We also enjoy having access to indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball, and locker rooms with sauna and steam room. The child care provided at this specific location has been exceptional over the years. Our children are in good hands here. One aspect I appreciate is that children are not allowed to bring in their own devices to the child center. Our children are encouraged to read books (or listen to books read aloud by Life Time team members), do crafts, or even participate in their own fitness classes.

I love this club. I am also a member at the Southdale location because it is closer to our home, but prefer flagship (the former name of this club). Top notch teachers, great service, rarely busy, family friendly. Worth the price.

  • 4/5 J D. 4 years ago on Google
Definitely cleaner than other locations! Amazing staff and trainers! Not too busy whenever I show up which works great for me! Expensive, of course, and we all wish prices dropped a bit but, oh well.

Worth the price, keep it up Lifetime!!!

I've been a member at this club for over ten years and can't say enough good things about it. We have two young kids and the teachers in the child center are so caring and fun! We also love the outdoor pool in the summer. The cardio and weight floor is never overly crowded and the LifeSpa is always a great way to refresh.

Excellent lifetime location, friendly staff and trainers (without being intrusive or overly sales-y), great machines and quantity (rarely do I need to wait. Wonderful luxury size locker room with full size lockers and enough spave to comfortably dress and undress.

I freaking love this Lifetime Fitness. This location is exactly how a Lifetime Fitness should hold it's standards to. The staff is incredibly friendly, know your name by heart, and will personally walk you to the location if you ask where something is. It's always clean and my favorite thing is how less packed they are than other LT's. They do a good job keeping the club clean and the personal trainers there are top notch. There's a reason why members who move away still find their way back to this location.

  • 5/5 Alex M. 3 years ago on Google
Huge gym, clean and workers enforce mask wearing. I went as a guest today and the experience was similar to that of a country club. The one thing I would say could improve is not gyms have rags instead of paper towels to clean equipment and mats and this gym uses paper towels. It creates a lot of waste and is more expensive to the gym than rags. Having rags also makes the equipment easier to clean. I'm suprise a gym this pricey hasn't thought about that.

  • 5/5 David H. 3 years ago on Google
I like how its low key and never busy at night. Joe is a very good personal trainer and found I had a weak ankle very quickly by looking at my squat form. Expensive but worth the price to meet your fitness goals of feeling healthy

  • 5/5 jason k. 3 years ago on Google
Tennis courts are absolutely amazing, if you're looking to play indoor tennis this is the place. Weight room is good, never really super busy but some of the other lifetimes have a better selection for weights and machines. But there's not many other lifetimes you can go to that have a full bar and a restaurant... It reminds me a bit more of a country club Friday evening.

  • 5/5 Varun J. 6 years ago on Google
After being to this club, I don't like going to others . This is the best club I have ever been and it's hard to imagine what else can be added here. The classes, teachers and trainers are all so good.

  • 3/5 C M. 3 years ago on Google
Love the club. Have for years. Less than 1/4 of people working out upstairs are wearing masks. Will really be bummed if the place closes again because people don’t follow the club rules and none of the staff do anything about it.
