Here only one gate opens at a time and you will find yourself surrounded by an entirely different world of wild animals like lions, tigers, rhinos, panthers, wild oxen, etc. that roam freely in the wilderness of a jungle-like environment.It easily takes around 6-7 hours to cover the whole zoo located on a 300-acre site consisting of lush green acres. It is the best place to bring kids.Many schools bring their students as a field trip. Adding to the overall experience are the extensive range of activities to do in Nehru Zoo Park. Various Safaris, such as lion safari, bear safari and bison safari, along with toy train makes the visit all the more exciting. It’s good to have a family outing at this place . Well spacious parks and designated areas. Plastic free entry . If you bring any plastic items they label it for 10 rs and return you while u exits . Washroom are good no soap though . Battery operated vehicle are there to help elders to visit . For kids strollers are allowed . Best place to hangout with family. Beautiful greenery and good maintenance of the place. As of now, a ticket for an adult costs Rs.50/- during weekdays, and Rs.60/- during weekends and holidays. I had to go through the Huge rush on Republic day. Many animals along with their zoological names and features are available. It'll be useful for students too. It's so enjoyable to sit on the grass along with the family to have lunch. Free parking, drinking water, and rest rooms are available in between the park. Small Train is available to roam around the park, but it's so satisfactory to walk throughout the park which may take 5-7km to cover the entire park. Got to know that the snake park has been closed since 3 months. Not only the animals, one can enjoy the beauty of nature, can meet people from across the cities and states, and one can study the psychological behaviour of the the animal and human interaction here. Safety measures are being followed.

Wonderful zoo spanning over 200 acres , they try to maintain well but sometimes lag due to public non-cooperation, animals are fed well and are in good shape. The infrastructure and canteen facilities can be improved a bit. Best time to visit is early in the morning when the environment is calm but you can expect more crowd coming after 12 PM. PROS: prime location , environment and neatness , fares. Cons: Limited product's in canteen , lack of proper maintenance of washrooms.

We came for lunch, tried the Idly Vada and it was great. Then we asked for two Bajji and they were absolutely perfect. The guys inside were really friendly, trustworthy and I'd highly recommend coming here! Also, environmentally friendly and hygienic cutlery and plates!

I recently visited the Amma Brahmins cafe, The breakfast food was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff was attentive (to manage the crowd) The food surpassed all expectations. Each dish was really good, The flavors were exquisite, and the ingredients used were of the highest quality. I would like talk about the cost it’s really really so reasonable, we took one benne dosa, Veg Pulav and Bisibele bath and we paid only ₹80/-, it’s really nice to pay reasonable price for tasty food. But it was too much oil used in food but if they are using good quality of cooking oil then it’s fine. Considering the overall experience, I found the prices to be reasonable and well worth the quality of food. If you would like to visit this restaurant then try for breakfast.

Here I had taken the Plain Dosa and Tea it was good and there all verities of foods good too because I have tasted earlier. But they have to concentrate on keep maintain hygiene kitchen..

Rated down from 5 to 1 star. I was a frequent visitor to this place for almost 5 years. Stopped visiting this place from 3rd Nov 2020 after I spotted the most disgusting and grouse thing ever. The lady in the side room who stacks banana leaves and disposable plates for the restaurant suddenly used her fingers and cleaned her runny nose and wiped fingers to the wall behind her. In addition to that, she inspected her fingers closely and wiped her fingers further on the wall and then to her saree and finally to the face mask and continued her work of stacking paper plates. I immediately brought this to the attention of the cashier who I don't think took it seriously and casually reprimanded the lady. I threw my food plate in the bin and I swore, I will never visit this outlet again. I understand these things may happen at times in other restaurants as well ... But it becomes difficult to digest if such things happen right in front of your eyes. One would lose confidence and interest to eat at such places.

BOP (Battery Operated Vehicle) and Toy train can be rendered for inside tour. Trust me even if you spend your whole day you will not be able to cover every part of it 😁. You can enjoy 10 mins boating ride on Mir-Alam tank. A widespread area is available to park your vehicle. Go and have fun with your friends and family.

Happening place in Hyderabad. Nature coupled with different living beings surrounded. Well maintained, crowded on weekends. Battery Cars are best option if family joined you. Take good time, cherish the moments.

This place is very very nice to visit with the family members. We can enjoy a lot. There is a electric vehicles provided by the zoo park department. For handicap people it is very helpful for them. The maintenance of zoo park is very good. Important thing is they don't allow the polythene covers carrying with us. We should use the paper covers for snacks.

On Sunday me and family went to zoo park. It was an awesome amazing experience. We saw wild animals like white bengal tiger, wolf, jaguar. Leopard. Giraffe, Elephant crocodiles hippos, rhino and to the top of it, we also saw the king of jungle Lion, Missed birds and snakes. Though the zoo was under construction but it was overall good visit., plastics were not allowed, bring your own paper bag's is better.

Very beautiful but navigation system is totally waste there. Sign boards aren't well defined. There should be visible sign board for every animal or bird . We only see main sign board otherwise very beautiful place to visit.

Average typical zoo. We visited during feb 2021 and the safari was closed because some work was going on. We did get to see the animals in enclosures. We saw a white tiger, a lion, 2 bears, hyenas, few birds, 2 giraffes, deers, black bucks, an elephant, a hippo and a rhino. Park is huge. There are electric buggies one can hire. Either the whole buggy for 2 to 3k for 2 hours duration. Otherwise one can get a ticket of 70rs per person for hop on hop off buggies. Even with the buggies there is considerable amount of walking that is has to do. Apart from the optional buggy ticket there is a mandatory entry ticket as well. Plastic is banned inside. But you can carry food and eat inside at designated locations.

.This Zoo is very huge in space with covering with all Animals and Reptiles even we can have a place to seat and eat with family like a park with very well maintained with hygiene.. The food is little costly inside.. Being a local citizen I recommend to ensure a Hygiene should be maintain whenever you visit.. Requesting you to please don't tease animals I have self respect for them Even there are some security guard's at animals bay... Zoo is closed on every monday... Battery vehicle inside for adults at cost of 70/- per head on weekends and weekdays is 60/- per head.. No plastics are allowed... Bring your food in non plastic bags.. Lion safari is closed due to maintenance... Aquarium and nocturnal park are also closed due to maintenance.. Snake park also closed..

Its a medium of learning. We visited in Mar 2021. Captivity is not preferred. The lockdown in COVID took a toll on us, mentally. Think about how it disturbs the animals. When we visited, the wolf and fox were looking like the street dogs - Malnourished and weak. There was no energy in them. Just like how we felt in the lockdown of Summer 2020.

So, plan yourself to stand and eat. They start serving from 5 pm. Food items get over around 9 pm. Car parking is very limited. Park either opp to the shop or any street nearby. There are similar hotels beside this one. So expect some crowd in that area. We enjoyed juice in the nearby shop after a tummy full of amazing food 🙂
