Heavy Metal Karaoke is an automatic 5 stars, the DJ is awesome. For a live rock venue the sound quality was lacking clarity and volume. The microphone was mid frequency without a bottom or a top. No compression, and dry as a bone (no reverb). The music tracks were muddy and lacked bottom or punch. Sound Choice tracks are dated compared to CC Karaoke, but my suspicion is that the sound mixer person was not actually a sound mixer by trade. The light show and fog effects were excellent, and again awesome DJ. It’s a must go for any metal head!

Great variety of alcoholic beverages and really tasty food. I really like the theme and the music played there. The cherry on the top was a great advice on the last beer (I was looking for a strong roasted flavor, ideally some porter or barley wine) - it did not come immediately, but within 2 minutes I got a solid choice based on delivered criteria. It's worth to add, that the beer I got is easily in my top 5 of all the beers I've tried (BA20 Vol. 2: Amburilla)! The Firearrhea sauce also fits great to the whole theme 😉 Definitely going to visit this place on my next trip to Stockholm!

Pub Anchor is an amazing bar with really good food, cheap beers and generally very helpful and friendly staff. They have activities everyday and live rock and metal bands play Midnights on weekends. If you need the cheapest beer, ask for the Beer of the Week which always costs 35Sek. I totally recommend it.
