I came here with a large group the service was excellent, cocktails were really tasty served in a ice glass of which you dispose of down an ice chute. Its really quirky and is a great experience overall. Also the ice carvings are wicked a true art form to be seen.

A truly unique experience that you should definitely try if you're in Stockholm. The price of admission includes a drink, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties available. When you enter, you're given a special "ice cape" and gloves to keep warm and you'll need them! The interior is beautiful and consists of a variety of ice sculptures and your drink is served in an ice glass. Words can barely do the experience justice, it has to be felt and seen in person! My only gripe is that the drinks are fairly generic but taste great all the same. I highly recommend visiting!

Great place, for all ages (you can go with under 18's and they get a mocktail) you are supplied with a warm poncho and gloves before you enter the ice bar. It's not large, and not much seating capacity, but it's only a 45min experience anyway, worth a visit!

If you visit Stockholm you MUST. Come here! Very unique bar. It’s small and cozy. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Your admission includes an alcoholic beverage. They offer nonalcoholic as well. It’s definitely worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing fun time to be had, staff friendly, drinks out of ice glasses, whilst dancing in the Ice room surrounded by a tribute to Swedish innovations. Found the whole experience uplifting and very different, also helped that we had booked in early and no one else was with us as we boogie our way around it for 45 minutes. Have not seen my wife this happy in years as she has always wanted to go to the Ice Hotel but we can't afford it, so we opted for a taster...do try it's unforgettable.

Was a cool (quite literally) experience in central Stockholm. You are greeted at the desk and given a warm robe and gloves before you enter. Entrance includes an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink which is served in a ice glass! 🧊 The ice sculptures are fascinating and they have upbeat music playing which makes for a good atmosphere! Definitely something different to do when visiting the city!

So much of a tourist trap, this place is the only one I have been in Stockholm where things were written only in English. The room with ice sculptures has around ~10 m2, the jackets they give you to get protected from the cold smell terribly and that’s all.

Such a unique place and unbelievable that it exists in Stockholm! The ice sculptures are so beautiful and the drinking experience is very cool! Definitely worth a visit.

The planet’s first permanent ice bar, made of ice from the world-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, Lapland. Everything except the liquids in the drinks is made of ice, and the temperature is kept at a constant 23 degrees Fahrenheit.

The icebar itself was a good experience one must get at least once. However, the pre-paid meal was a nightmare. We were sent between 2 restaurants and no one seemed to want to take us even the meals were paid already. Finally we got a table but realised the menu is rather small.

The reason for my poor rating is not necessarily the Ice Bar, which lived up to expectations, but rather the poor experiences at the Lykke restaurant. We booked the Ice Bar and food option and the Lykke in the Nordic Lights Hotel was a real downer. The food was alright, but the service was appalling. We waited 45mins between courses and when I complained, I was told it wasn't their fault but the kitchen. Miraculously our food appeared, cold 2mins later. Ice Bar is a great experience but avoid the over priced, poor quality food add ons. They did deduct the food supplement to compensate.

Not the most lively bar in the city due to restrictions on capacity but a good group of friends can make it a fun experience! Small room with different sculptures lit up with neons for 2022 (the design changes annually). However, many of the neons didn’t work and the conditions of the furniture and clothing provided were poor after years of use. Easy to find if you follow the signs in the windows. Drinks were good but maybe a little expensive. Okay for a couple of photos but not sure that I’d return.

The ice bar was very cold, it was -5 degree celsius. We had to put on special clothing and gloves before entering into the ice bar. They served us an alcoholic drink in an ice cup. They have ice carved sculpture, which is interesting. We had to remove our gloves to take many photos, but had to quickly wear them back 🤭 Highly recommended when you are in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪

A cute little 45 min experience that includes an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. You get gloves and a fleece-lined poncho to keep warm. They blast fun party music too. It’s a small place so it fills up fast. If you go during a slow time, you don’t need reservations, but would recommend them during popular times.

A very unique experience near Stockholm Central Station. It's definitely worth it. We enjoyed a lot especially when outside temperature was > 30° C. They give convenient apparels to sustain -5°C.

The hotel entrance is off the main street near the entrance to Stockholm Arlanda Express line. You need to enter into the hotel and head to the rear of the hotel. Look for guide stickers on the floor which will lead the way. There's alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you go off peak, you may not need to book. The staff are helpful and it is worth the visit.

Nice sight in Stockholm. Similar to the icebar up in Lappland but a bit smaller. The entry fee includes the first round of drinks. It can be chosen beforehand if alcoholic or non-alcoholic. You also get a warm poncho and gloves but for people who easily freeze I would recommend long clothes in addition.

Great little gem 💎! Would highly recommend when visiting Stockholm. It’s amazing, the whole place is made out of solid ice. I’ve never seen anything like it. Kick your night off with a drink at the Ice bar! Being in the cold like that also has some health benefits.

Very fun activity to do with anyone. Socks or shoes are recommended. Chic and unusual, but within 30 minutes and after a second drink it gets too cold to stay. It makes for some nice selfie photo opportunity.

In our weekend in Stockholm we thought that could interesting to visit the Icebar. From what I know you can find this kind of place in other cities around the world, usually city in country at nord, but for us was a first time, so we just caught the chance. The bar is literally outside the central station where you can find the entrance to Arlanda Express, the direct train to the airport. Don't pay attention to the sign outside because you have to enter the hotel and follow the path to the icebar. When you arrive the staff will give you a kind of poncho and some gloves to wear inside. The bar is small, it's a big room, of course everything is covered by ice and the is also some sort of igloo. The admission'price, a little too expensive, include a cocktail, that was very good. It seems that you can't order a second cocktail if you want and I think the reason is because you can stay in the icebar only 45 minutes. For us that time was more than enough because like I said the place is very small, and after you took some pictures and finished your drink you don't have many things to do. It's worthy? If it is your first time I think so because it's something inusual you can do when in Stockholm. A final advice: you have to book in advance to enter the bar, because there is a limit to the people who can stay at the same time.

Cocktails are great, staff is super kind but the place does not really worth it. It's super small and there are not that many ice sculptures to see either. I would not recommend it (or let's say that in Stockholm I would not skip other attractions to experience this one).

Cool idea but a small place and a bit expensive for a little drink. As soon as you take some photos and have a small drink it doesn't offer anything else.

  • 3/5 Martyna Z. 4 months ago on Google • 24 reviews
Fun place to come and see but I wouldn't recommend it during winter. It was colder outside 🥶 Only few drinks to choose from (no beer nor snacks). I got Mirage which was sweet and nice to drink from ice glass, but not that nice to come and pay over 200krk for one drink (very expensive for just one drink). The size of ice bar is also smaller that I expected. If there is more that 15 people inside, it feels very crowded.

  • 5/5 robin l. 1 year ago on Google
Fun thing to visit if you are in Stockholm. You can drink a cold cocktail inside ;) Be aware, it's -7°C inside, but they give you some kind of capuchon to protect you from the cold. It's funny the glasses are in ice. Friendly staff.

  • 4/5 tanya s. 2 years ago on Google
The bar is smaller than expected , there is maybe seating space for 20 people but it is very well made and we enjoyed our stay there. Honestly at -5 you generally just make some photos, drink and go out as it is very cold , it was nice experience overal

First time visiting an ice bar, and I expected a bit more. For 240sek (€20.5) it was a bit pricey for what it was. The ice room isn't that big and it's really not that cold. The drink was nice, and throwing the glass away in the end was a nice touch. The place had good music but after 20min it really loses its appeal. It was nice for a one-time visit but I don't think that I would visit again. Ideally, 3.5 stars. Visited in November 2023

Interesting place to visit. Novelty bar, but worth the visit. Enjoyed a couple of drinks in cool (make that ice cold ice cups) glasses. We also received some insight into Sweden's contributions (ball bearing, zipper & others) to the world. Pretty cool place. LOL

Nice experience. For the price you pay it is worth it. I recommend wearing something that covers your legs though because I was wearing shorts, and with the outfit they give you, my leg still touched the ice. Overall good experience. Give the bartender appreciation extra, Icebar! Very friendly!

Sehr spezielles, tolles Erlebnis!

Visited the City in Sept 22, and wanted to visit the Ice Bar while there. Had a great but chilly 🥶 visit, staff were brilliant, lovely ‘cocktail’ which went down far too well … worth a trip if you like this sort of thing. Wife loved it too … so bonus.

Ja es ist ein nettes Erlebnis. Preise schon saftig. Cocktails sehr klein. So hatte ich also keinen Cocktail. - dennoch wollten wir eine Icebar mal sehen. In welcher Stadt war mir persönlich egal.

A nice experience for tourists if you don't have time to visit the Icehotel in the North. One drink is included in the price 215 sek for 1 pcs non-alcoholic drink and 245 sek for alcoholic drink.

  • 4/5 Cynthia O. 7 months ago on Google
Bar made of ice structures, you'll want the loaner parkas and gloves to handle the extreme freezing temperatures in the bar as you sip your miniscule drink from your ice cube. 🧊. The environment is pretty cool, ha! I was hoping for a more "club" experience.

  • 5/5 Amy A. 1 year ago on Google

The concept is really cool. But if you have been to/visited the real Ice hotel in north Sweden, then you wouldn’t fancy this. They give u robes and gloves to enter and you get a drink in the price too, but check how many people are inside. It’s a very small place and it could be that you are alone inside. So the idea and concept is really cool but since there aren’t too many people inside, it gives a very empty feeling about what to do. Don’t consider it as a drinks or hangout place but more if u wanna see the concept. The drink ice glasses are fancy and you can also buy them at the hotel. (Don’t go if you have already been to ice hotel Kiruna)

It is really worth to visit it and feel what it is like to drink from the ice glasses sitting by the ice bar not going far to the North🙂

Very cool experience at the Icebar. The venue is a tribute to global emigration from birth places and the resulting immigrants in new places - an inspirational reflection on Sweden's rich history and welcoming nature. The ice sculptures provide a concise history lesson. I had the Inman a vanilla vodka and raspberry puree drink that was delicious.

The place is small. You have to pay 200 SEK for 45 min which includes a drink. Its fun to go but it was so cold that we could not stay there more than 30 min. When we visited the theme was "Swedish innovation". One can go once.

  • 3/5 Herr V. 3 years ago on Google
I had higher expectations. It's not as cold as I thought. You pay a fair 20€ to get in and have a drink but refilling your small glass will cost you another 10€. They even removed the ice wall (which was a cool challenge for visitors) some years ago, so this place is not the same as it once was.

Visited here last week whilst on a Trip to Stockholm. We had prebooked tickets but on arrival had quite a queue in front of us so by the time we got into the bar its was 25 minutes into our time. The bar staff left and turned off the music after 25 minutes of us being in there which was a little disappointing. It was an OK experience but I wouldn't say it should be on a 'must do' if visiting Stockholm.
