If you like good beers, very friendly and helpful but very stressed waitrisses that dosen'r reallt have the time for you. In my case she stressed me while I made my order. All the bars in stocholm seem to have an endless choice of lagers/ales and this place is no exception to that. A decent sized indoor area, but also about 10 small tables which run up the outside of the bar. Great to pop in for one or two if in the area, but might not need to target it specifically if you're not.

The Beefeater. One of my favourites bars in Södermalm. The small bar located at the start of Götbacken if you are entering Södermalm coming from Gamla Stan is a traditional stop by place for people living around. I usually find some of my neighbours sitting there. A large variety of beer (draft and in bootle), drinks (not many wine thought, I think they might have 2 reds and 2 whites), and a modest but decent menu of starters and main dishes. Although the place is quiet small it feels that there always a spot to sit down and have a beer and talk with the friends. During the summer they open a lovely balcony section on the side but my favourites are the small tables by the main entrance facing Götbacken. A lot of people passing by during those few weeks of sun and 20 Celsius (yes, that’s summer in Sweden). Beefeater is one of what we call “sunkhaket” or “sunkbar”, a Swedish cultural tradition of bars with cheap cold beer (called storstark). Sunkbars ara in many areas of Stockholm, but the DOD sunk bars a the proper ones from Södermalm.

The tap options are great, and the owner and each and every server were all friendly and very accommodating. It was my number one pub during our vacation in Norway and Sweden.

Good traditional English pub. I haven't tried the food so can't comment on that but the staff is knowledgeable about the drinks, helpful and provide good service. Can just as easy speak English here as Swedish. The bar itself is pretty spacious with outdoor seating both in front and on top of a little patio raised above the foot traffic of Götgatan. Nice pub located in the south side of Stockholm in a busy shopping area. I got there in the late afternoon so I was fairly busy. I sat at the bar and the bartender served me very quickly. It was happy hour at the time so there were some decently priced drinks with a lot of beers on tap. The overall atmosphere was calm and collected.
