We've been here a couple times but today we had the worst experience with one of the serves named Lucia that apparently was the manager in turned. She was stressed and was extremely rude when we asked when our table will be ready after waiting for over 45mins. Her answer was "maybe 5 mins or more" when there were tables available she gave that table to people that just walked in 😞, when I asked her why? She said " that is what we do and you have to wait' so I asked her for her name or manager's name but she denied and went in and hide for other 15 mins, so their colleagues were way better at offering and apologies and offering a solution. Lucia and the manager in turned are very incompetent. So in a nutshell, good food but not great manager.

Love the place but in the last two years it has really declined, you can see that the staff is stressed and also that they can't possibly serve ever customer. During my visit there was a group of people who was very loud and non of the staff seemed to care, looked to me as they were friends. Food was OK, seemed better before I went to Prague again.

Delicious food with good prices. But I had a disappointing experience at Krogen Soldaten Svejk restaurant. It was very unpleasant to have a bad odor during a meal that makes you feel nauseous. My guess was that the source of the smell was the restroom. Hopefully, the restaurant will take steps to address any potential issues in the future to ensure a more pleasant dining experience for their customers.

Perhaps the best Prague schnitzel in town! It was just perfect and as it should be. Goes well with a glas of unfiltered Bernard ale. I'd say 4.5 stars. The price is decent too.165 sek for schnitzel and 75 sek for a pint of beer. Already look forward to visit again and try other items on the menu!

Best pub/Restaurant I have visited in Stockholm. Amazing prices and delicious food. Schnitzel and potatoes with half a liter of unfiltered chechz pilsner. The pub is located on 2 floors with the cellar being very cozy and nicely serviced by the staff. It is recommended to arrive around 16.45 for dinner since the cellar opens up at 17. The place gets full immediately but it is totally worth it.

December in the year of the Covid or 2020 and absolutely delightful to leave the quarantine for a while. We enjoyed tasty Czech pilsners and filled schnitzel at Soldaten Svejk. As nice as ever 😋🍺

Very nice place with a cozy and central european feeling. You can't book tables here but instead wait downstairs where you are offered drinks while you wait. The beer is a bit cheaper here than some other places and the food is fantastic.

I missed some Czech cousin and this place was recommended to me. Beer was as I love. Food was just good example how it coul be back in CZ. Service was fain. No pressure no rush, all for having good time. We were there more then one hour after opening on Saturday and top was already full but bottom part had plenty of space.

Great food and super nice staff. Will for sure come back! Although it is a pub style restaurant, so be aware of the atmosphere you are getting yourself into 😄 I had a schnitzel filled with cheese, best one i have had in Sweden.

The food was great. The salads on the same plate as the warm food does not work so well, in my opinion, but is not at all bad also. They have a light dark beer that worked pretty well with my goulasch. The whole family was satisfied. Special note deserved the potatoes that were fried in oven or in a lot of oil. They get that fried/sticky flavour in the mouth. The dessert variation was not much but we were pretty satisfied so no way we could had fitted more in our bellies. I think going just with friends instead of the family would be a blast!

Beer and Schnitzel, the best you can get in Stockholm. Non fines but they don’t need to, atmosphere is great

Service seemed to be bothered we were there, also seen with other groups. A nice location, maybe was just a bad night to there.

This is a Stockholm classic! This place has been a staple of Stockholms south side for decades and is one of the best pubs in Sweden. The atmosphere is great, people are really nice, the service is top notch and the beer is excellent (if you like the Czech style). Can't recommend it enough.

The schnitzel here is super good! We like the one with cheese only. Also, if they happen to have the "smaller portion menu", go with that because it's usually enough food. Last time we were there, they were facing issues with the tap beer. It was simply not cold. The staff knew there was a problem, but served us the beer anyways. We complained and then they told us that they were having problems with the beer cooling system. They brought us another glass of beer, which was slightly colder. We couldn't drink any of the beer and didn't pay for it. Even if that happened, we would go back. Good price and good food.

You have to order garlic bread apart, it was not cheap and it just comes with two pieces, topped with a raw garlic clove. However, it was delicious, crispy and full of butter. The rest of the food was very tasty, generous and cheap.

Absolutely delicious! We had the schnitzel and I devoured it. Also it’s reasonably priced. We showed up on a Friday night and immediately got a seat. The service is super friendly too!

Great Czech beer and food - go for "vepřová". Better to do reservation beforehand.

Great schnitzel, great portion sizes and tasty. Simple food just done well. The staff are great with service and the whole experience is uncomplicated. You cannot reserve a table, so you get a place when they are available, but the bar sells a great selection of beers while you wait.

If you love Czech Bernard beer, Swedish Raggmunk Med Fläsk and their Apfelstrudel - this is the place to visit in Södermalm, Stockholm, but early! They open 16, so be among the first and you will have a nice evening at a good table in the first room. Staff is very professional, English menue exists.

Delicious hearty meals. Warning for large but satisfying portions. Save room to enjoy potato salad and side dishes. Great house brewed beer.

Proper czech experience of a pub. Diversity of traditional dishes across the menu with a nice selection of czech brewers. Prices fair enough to the Swedish stamdards. Well recommended for a different experience or a date.
