The bar restaurant with the biggest choice of whiskies in Sweden. Amazing list with all limited editions of Ardbeg and much more. The place is really nice as well as the tenant. On the food side it is good as well with some nice burgers, very good elk tenderloin, nice chocolate ice cream made with Ardbeg. Definitely a great place to enjoy.

This place is great! Such a huge selection of whisky that you just can't find regularly. Wish you could buy samples or bottles to take home but no luck. The food was good, a bit pricey but good. The whisky was great. But I think the pours seemed a little light on a few but overall great. Would go back to try more Ardbegs. Try a dram straight from their cask!

An amazing experience. The staff is so welcome and so nice. They recommended me the elk dish, the whiskey of the month and their desert with ice cream and whiskey and I'm not disappointed!! I highly highly recommend for everybody in Stockholm to come here at least one time. For sure I will come back here 😊

Came by on a Saturday night and was not disappointed! Menu is full of hearty Swedish meals, I would recommend the Game Meatballs. They do have a couple vegetarian options, but it is a meat forward menu. They are known for their wide and diverse selection of whisky, with house brewed options and whisky flights as well.

I really loved the food, the ambiance and the staff. Their collection of wines but also the whisky's is fenominal. So, if you should be in Stockholm, in the old part of town, and you would like something to eat then this is the place to be...

Great atmosphere in old Stockholm. Service was friendly. Though our waitress missed on my order, but another waiter figured it out and settled things right. If you’re a whiskey fan this place has a great selection including their own famous line. I had the venison steak — very good. Wife had a wonderful piece of thick salmon. Walking the area is easy and people are nice.

Real nice atmosphere, excellent service and high quality food. Bigger portions would be nice so take a starter as well and not only a main course.

Very elegant and welcoming place in the very heart of Stockholm Old Town. The true highlight of this place is the huge selection of spirits, especially whiskeys, which it offers. Very interesting selection of local and international beers, and vast offer of wines. The menu proposes some very genuine and very well presented of Swedish dishes. The Reindeer filet was simply delicious 😋. I would say just, with the cost of a dish, portions should be a bit more generous. Super friendly and professional all the staff Strongly recommended...

Had a great meal here. Cod was fresh and delightful, definitely recommend. It was very crowded and recommend reservations, they sat us without one but next time would call ahead. I did not order a Scotch but it has one of the most impressive lists of Scotch's available outside of the UK. It was great to see they had Aberlour 16, one of my favorites. Any visit to Stockholm is not complete without a visit here, even just for a drink.

Came here for the beer, Untapped verified, and wasn't disappointed. Many on tap, but the whisky selection is phenomenal. Easy to find in Gamla Stan.

Whisky bar and restaurant located in old city centre. Their cuisine is somethinh like international with Swedish accent. I tried it for the lunch from special lunch offer. My choose - rydberg with filet of deer - was very good. Deer meat was delicious, combination of tastes was first quite strange (mainly raw egg yolk), but really tasty. The attendant advised how to mix it properly and eat it. For enjoyment and taste I have to rate this dish 5/5. Service was ok too, they was little bit „cold“ as from stereotypes, but still helpfull.

A number of years ago we stumbled across the Ardbeg Embassy and had such a good experience we decided to join them again for an early dinner. Our meals were tastefully prepared and decently sized - we've always been quite satisfied with everything we've ordered. While the namesake is all about whiskey, they also have a nice assortment of beers as well. After our meal we decided to sample some of their whiskeys, including one drawn directly from the cask / barrel. (I preferred what they had in the barrel a few years ago.) Our waiter was very helpful in explaining the offerings - we were fortunate that we were there before it got too busy and he was able to spend more than the expected amount of time attending to us. We'll surely be back.

This place is truly unique. Here ive seen the biggest collection of wines and whiskeys that i ever saw in a restaurant. Also, the ambiance was great, the staff was amazing. The food was perfect with a great balance of taste.

We ordered seafood and fish plate, and the lombster broth was exceptional. Desert combo ( ardbeg 10 + coffee + truffle) was amazing. There are so many whiskey options that it's hard to choose. We ordered Ardbeg's 4-course tasting selection. It was a good experience. The waiters were very helpful.

This fine dining restaurant is owned by 3 brothers and is an ambassador for Ardbeg distillery in Scotland. They specialize in steaks that include Reindeer and Elk. All our meals were wonderful. They also have an amazing whisky selection. Given its location in Gamla Stan you might think it is touristy but that’s not true. I would recommend

Friendly service, excellent food and a huge selection of beverages. About 400 types of whiskey! Admittedly I had their smokey ale and not one of the whiskeys but that was very good as well. The burgers were succulent and the biff rydberg was really quite excellent. The fried risotto entré also very good. I will go here again.

Although we had a short wait for our reservation, the staff and food were excellent. The restaurant was fully packed on the Saturday night we went. Really great atmosphere with mood lighting and fun features. Would recommend if you are a whiskey fan too.

Well cooked reindeer meat, flavoured, tasty. The antipasto is very delicious and delicate. And many choices for good whiskey.

The most amazing Ardbeg collection (available for tasting) I have ever seen. Some truly legendary whiskies. Of course the price is going to be a bit steep, but you can choose just to try 1cl.

During our stay in Stockholm, we had to make sure to visit the Ardbeg embassy to drink a nice dram or two. As for the whiskies, we chose the Scotch Malt Whisky Society 95.41: Blackbeard's barbecue (Auchroisk Distillery) and a GlenAllachie 12 YO PX Sherry cask from their 14 page (!!) whisky menu. Next to the whisky, we also had a bite to eat at the embassy. For starters, we had deer tartare and for main, two nice juicy Ribeye burgers with condiments. We ended our stay with the signature Ardbeg coffee 🥃☕ Everything was fingerlicking good! When you are in Stockholm and you are a whisky enthousiast, make sure to visit the embassy as well!

Der Besuch im Restaurant Ardbeg Embassy war die beste Entscheidung, die wir in Stockholm getroffen haben. Hier war wirklich alles fabelhaft. Zu Beginn haben wir uns ein Paar von den zahlreichen Whiskys gegönnt. Die Auswahl an Whisky, Wein und Bier sind hier wirklich gigantisch groß. Auch bei dem Essen war die Auswahl relativ vielfältig und vor allem super lecker. Die Speisen und Getränke waren für uns ziemlich teuer, was sich jedoch definitiv gelohnt hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

What a wonderful place, obviously for whisky lovers but surprisingly it's also one of the best Swedish restaurants serving wild meat, I went for the deer and it was perfectly made!

If you love whiskey this is a place for you. You can even try some Port Ellen. Not to complicated food but different types of meat and well cooked. Located in the old town of Stockholm and prices are according to the area.

Cozy place in the middle of the old city, with beautiful decor. I personally suggest the deer fillet, so soft and definitively delicious. Staff is nice too. As far as dessert is concerned, I had the cheesecake, which is good even though a little small. Food is generally expensive, but in line with what you expect.

Seriously overpriced, the wait was infinite and the service was dead cold. They're in the tourist trap area and they play the game. At least the dish looks fine. Do not go unless you're really into whisky.

First off I'd like to praise the super polite and helpful staff. Our waitress explained all the choices including some personal requirements and made very good recommendations. We ordered a ribeye burger and raindeer steak. The burger was alright but a bit too pricey (~200:-). The raindeer was absolutely amazing but also small and expensive portion. Do you get your money's worth? Maybe not, but it's certainly a unique experience and I'd recommend anyone to try it at least once. They also have a large selection of spirits and interesting hard coffee options.

Great place to enjoy tasty food and drinks, it is the best fine dining resto in Stockholm; all the staff are super friendly and professional, my favorite dishes are deer sirloin (so delicious)and the local beef (so soft and tasty) the sweet are super tasty i strongly recommend to try the whiskey chocolate ice cream.

Food is amazing and if you love Whiskey or beer, this is one of the best places to go in Stockholm. The choice of beer and Whiskey is unbelievable, they serve everything from normal stuff to very special ones. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Very nice ambiente.

We came here for the new year's eve set menu. As with most places in the old town, it does feel geared towards tourists, but the food was very nice and reasonably priced given the number of courses and the special occasion. There's also a great whiskey selection.

Veal and Elk, life changing experience! There’s a menu to try all the wildlife meats, so you don’t have to worry about choosing the right thing. For dessert we had apple pie and it’s a masterpiece made with love. The staff is super nice as well!

Do you have 3 small kids but want to enjoy a nice dinner together? This is a place where it can happen. Amazing reindeer fillets or deer sirloin for gourmets (thought the Irish coffee-sauce to the deer could be a bit milder) and kids will be happy with the meatballs, and a desert of course! On top of this you can choose between countless sorts of beers according to your preferences. Very tasty!

Pretty good Swedish food oriented joint. Better options in the city, but a shining star in Gamla Stan more tourist orient cuisine scene. I will def be adding it to the vendor dinner list.

The two star goes to starters which were nice and quite tasty however Deer was surprisingly tasteless and meatball was very average so overall a bit disappointing. Remark after the response from the owner : We were in Stockholm for holidays and not there anymore so won’t be able to pass by again however we mentioned the tasteless Deer to the waiter ‘on spot’ and the only thing he said was ‘oh this is the first time I hear this!’ and nothing ever happened! Ensure you aren’t using frozen meat as fresh Deer has got lots of taste.
