I am surprised that this restaurant is not on the Michelin guide. Before visiting by just looking at the menu, we were intrigued! There, we had an amazing meal. The staff was welcoming and warm. The food was just brilliant. Their oysters are some of the best oysters I have tried in my life, and we eat a lot of oysters. Everything else was also brilliant! Hard to say which was the best dish. 100 percent recommended!

Sensational food, ambiance, and service! The server—Ted—was attentive, friendly, and made incredible suggestions for wine pairing. The menu was quite varied and innovative and some of the seasonal selections were completely unlike anything I’ve had before. The dish with alternating watermelon and tuna slices was such an unexpected combination of textures and flavors. Everything was expertly prepared and the tempo of the meal was perfect for enjoying the ambiance and the city. Ted gets bonus points for making excellent suggestions for local attractions off the beaten path. Phenomenal experience and highly recommended!

Great food but the space between tables is too narrow. It would be only 30cm away from the table next to it. Old atmosphere... old plates, low ceiling. Many of the photos on their website have been photoshopped.. Costs around 1 800SEK for two with wine.

Yesterday we celebrated my brothers graduation with dinner @tegelbackenrestaurang. The atmosphere was elegant and the service excellent 👌 they serve medium sized dishes so here comes some of what we had. One of my favorite things is vendance roe from Kalix with lemon, sour cream and herb- and shallot crouton. So good! Turbot with garlic fried squid, peas, gremolata and aiolo was amazing and the tortellini with Parmiggiano Reggiano and truffle I just wanted to lick the plate 🤤 we finished off with baked puff pastry with strawberries, whipped cream and sour milk ice cream. My mum was proud since she had the prettiest dish, White asparagus with elderflower, roe from Älvdalen, asparagus- and chive emulsion, the same as on the Swedish royal wedding. We walked away completely satisfied.

Fine dining is definitely happening here. Great service. Great menu full of steady and experimental dishes. The raw oysters had a unique blend of flavors. 2 of the 7 dishes we tried were just plain good, while the other 5 dishes were excellent.

My partner and I ate here last night after a recommendation from a colleague. Tegelbacken is the best food we have eaten in 3 years in Stockholm! We had the 5 course meal with Marcus' sides. Though everything was amazing, our favourites were, the sea bass, oyster, truffle tortellini and salmon. The dessert was delicious too! So many tastes that keep surprising you with each bite in every course. I believe there is a wine matching you can do but we forgot to order it. This place is an amazing experience and as said to the waitress (who was super good, friendly, professional and knowledgeable) is better than the Michelin star we went to last year. One more point on the waitress, it is very hard to get good service in Stockholm, we both agreed that she (and the waiter) were really good and a credit to the restaurant!

Fantastic menu. The sea bass with octopus was amazing. Excellent service and suggested wine pairings. Pleasant atmosphere. The main chef, Markus Aujalay, supervises, serve and chat with the guest.

The place looks a bit like being at granny's place, with all the pink & floral look. Professional service. The food was generally well made, but much of the flavours were not too interesting. I really enjoyed their strawberry & elderflower dessert tho! Not unusual combination, but it was just packed with flavours and the flavours were well balanced. The wine list by glass was pretty short. Maybe that is the reason for not too great wine pairing. I loved the option of having a half glass wine though.

Nice ambiance and kind, friendly staff. Visited twice for different occasions and even though the food is quite delicious I can not help but think that the portions are quite on the small side for their price. Perhaps a suitable restaurant for an Opera dinner but not someplace I would return too if I wanted a filling meal.

This place is fine dining and suited to romantic evening with your loved one. The dishes are delicious but priced on the upper range. They recommend 3 - 5 dishes per person but it depends on each individual. They have chef options for 4 to 5 dishes person totalling just under 800 Swedish Kronos.

AMAZING. One of the best meals we’ve had in Europe. We did the 5 course chefs meal, every single plate was perfect and extremely flavorful. Every bite was bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable. You can see the view of the water from inside. No complaints, it was a lovely dinner from start to finish.

Great food and good recommendations. Wine list is decent as well. We felt a bit rushed out when reaching the end of the dinner, but otherwise service was good as well. Can get loud when crowded.

The food is very good. The atmosphere is playful. It is very popular with the locals. I came to dine here by happenstance... Twice, ten years apart. I had forgotten I had been there before, and enjoyed the deja vu. This is the only nice restaurant close to the Sheraton Stockholm, which is a short walk from Stockholm station and in particular the Arlanda express train from the airport. This is where you will eat if you have to overnight in Stockholm, and have a reason to stay at a Marriott property.

Not Michelin-good (which it's competing with in this price range) but still very tasty food and I would consider it good value for what you pay. I've been here a couple of times and it fits perfectly for casual-fine-dining together with people who enjoys food but are not considered foodies :) I recommend going for the tasting menu.

Incredible dinner. My wife and I loved every course on the tasting menu and the staff was fun and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city for the first time as we were.

Amazing food. The taste is really amazing, the chefs are incredible skilled. Also the waiter that we had was great! Great service and great food, beautiful place, all pink. And I love pink. Will definitely return!

Truly delicious smallish courses where you can choose three or four or five and not feel overly stuffed. So flavorful! Presentation is flawless! And the wine pairings superb.

Food was great, service was great. Some details that wasn’t my taste. What brings it down? The paper towels in the bathroom.. very sheep material.
