Had the fish soup, pizza (asked for the small pizza for child, portion was big and she couldn't even finish it) and avocado and crayfish tail salad. Everything was fresh and delicious, service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Considering I was in Stockholm, the pizza was good 👍 but the real miracle was the tiramisù: really italian like. Also, finding a Menabrea beer has been really, really nice! Usually I don't attend italian restaurants outside of Italy but "Da Peppe" has been a good choice. Not so many open restaurants around on Tuesday @ 10pm but Peppe knows italian habits in terms of dinner hours 🤭 The waitress has been very professional and welcoming and, in the end, the location is really nicely placed in the heart of the city but still in a quiet and silent place. I loved it 💕

Excellent Italian restaurant in Stockholm old city, helpful staff and nice atmosphere! We eat tuna steak, lamb racks and pasta carbonara! Everything was absolutely perfect! Tiramisu simply the best in Sweden! Thanks for amazing evening!

Very attentive staff. Great atmosphere and busy too. Was here on a Tuesday night and felt like the weekend. Food really tasty with good portions. Food we had:- Pizza’s which were excellent, king prawn linguine very tasty, and carbonara which again was really tasty. I would have marked as 5 star but the prawn linguine came as spaghetti which was a bit disappointing but the taste didn’t disappoint. One thing to note about this restaurant was that they offered GLUTEN FREE pizza and pasta which was great as 2 members of the party are intolerant. Price for 4 with an alcoholic drink each worked out at about GBP £97.

ATTENTION!!! If you're looking for a good service. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!!!!! We (me and my wife) were there yesterday and the service is just horrendous. The waiter took too long to come to us. (Please note that the restaurant wasn't full and i made eye contact with the waiter few times but i was ignored) and when finally she came, she took us to a table and left us there stranded. No menu cards no nothing. FOR LIKE 20 MINUTES. WHAT KIND OF UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE IS THIS. We were not the only ones who were confused by this because there were 2 other tables who also were confused on what to do. We ended up leaving. Its just unprofessional. I never had such situation before. Always when we go to a restaurant the first thing the waiter does is bring the menu.

Tourist trap, sells low quality food at to high prices. We went there to finally try one of the Italian places on Gamla Stan. It was a good idea to start this experiment with pasta dishes. What we are appreciating about the Italian kitchen is the combination of simple but super delicious dishes, cooked to perfection. We did not find this at da Peppe. I used to cook pasta like they served it, when I was a student and could only afford the cheapest ingredients from discounter supermarkets. They sourced pasta Vongloe made from pickled Vongole mussels. And the the try to hide this, by adding 5 fresh mussels. But one cannot Cover the distinctive sour taste of the Mousses from the char. When I asked the waiter if they are using only fresh mussels, he pretended not to know. I asked him to get the chef, but finally never received an answer. We will not come back. If you don’t expect much or just want to go for a pizza, you could probably go there.

This place was simply amazing. Very cool atmosphere, the food was incredible and the service was outstanding. I had the Rigatoni and it was the best Rigatoni I have ever had. My server, Mauro, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive and made my experience great! Would recommend to all!

There really was an Italian waiter, who was super friendly to our thired traveller group of moms ja children. The food was also great. We could share our bill. Thank you for excellent service!

It was wonderful place with wonderful servers the food was served within 5 mins and when one person of my company got a bit chilly she received a blanket for comfort and heat. The servers asked us how our food was and were very polite. A good place with wonderful customer service! Would definitely recommend!

The best restaurant in all of Sweden! I came to Stockholm for 2 weeks and I ate here 4 times. The food is amazing. The service is beyond amazing. Words can’t describe how much I love this place and the workers!

On our first day in Stockholm we ate at this authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was the most authentic i have ever been to. Even in Firenze the Italian restaurants were less Italian than this one. The food was amazing ! I had the mafioza pizza which was a bit spicy as i like it, freshly baked with live ingredients and very tasty, my wife had the rigatoni pasta which was truly amazing ad well, the staff was kind and friendly with exceptional service speed. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it ! We were told that in Stockholm there are not many options for quality and relatively inexpensive food but our first choice was the best one !

Lovely italian place with authentic atmosphere. Extra points on the gluten free pizza and pasta options - everything was delicious! The portions are big and prices very reasonable.

We were walking around and saw this restaurant and decided to pop in for dinner… great atmosphere and seriously authentic Italian food… we love travelling around Italy so we have the culinary experiences to compare.. and this restaurant can easily compete with them.

The pasta was very very salty , to a point it became intolerable. I was very hungry after walking around old town , but I couldn’t finish it. My friend had pizza which was pretty good.

We were here as a group of 4 yesterday evening (a Thursday). We arrived at 9.45pm with a reservation. We had the two 2-person-antipasto, three different pasta dishes and a pizza. We also had one white wine and red wine bottle. Everything about that evening was fantastic, the food, the wine, the service, also the interior created a very nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und man kann im Außenbereich auch an kälteren Tagen sitzen, dank Wärmestrahlern

I ordered the Bigoli Carbonara, and it was amazingly good! And with very nice and knowledgeable staff makes, this became one of my favorites. The rather small and cozy restaurant will not disappoint, regardless of whether the visit is business or pleasure.

Very good restaurant. Delicious food and friendly and quick service. They first gave us the wrong pizza, but when we objected, they quickly prepared the one we’d wanted.

The Caprese was amazing. Had the Rigatoni very good.

Visited for Lunch. Service is very nice and the childfens menus pizzas was same size as taken from 'normal' menu. Exellent cava!

It a good Italian restaurant. The food was good but nothing to wow you. The carbonara was good without cream but the Rigatoni instead of Spaghetti might confuse people who arent used to it.

I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Food was ok to me, maybe a little bit too salty. Dessert was good though. For the price I paid, I was expecting more from the taste quality, but overall my experience was good.

Authentic Italian Ristorante in the Middle of Stockholm. Central placed in the middle of Stockholm, on the outskirts of "Gamla Stan" a short walk from either Gamla Stan Metro or T-Centralen Metro, with a idyllic street view towards the channel deviding Gamla Stan from the city center. This authentic Italian restaurant has the atmosphere of a true Italian street restaurant, with smal tables and a large outdoors serving area. The waiters are Italian in style even though they speek fluent English and Swedish. They offer excellent service and are only beaten by the quality of the food. This Resturant have exceptionaly good authentic Italian cuisine and a good choice of drinks. The food is tasteful, and in good portions even for a big viking, and it's affordable for the quality. I will in no way call it cheap, but it is affordable and in no way expensive for the quality. Highly recommend, both for a romantic dinner for two and a quick lunch for the family, and anything in between. Have a nice meal and a good dining experience. -Written by a well traveled Norwegian Viking- I was i doubt as to whether I should give it 4 or 5 stars, but I feel the 4.1 average it had was to low, so I ended up with 5 stars. Do not let that put you off thinking it's to high class. It isn't. It's a very cozy place with excellent food and service!

I was in this restaurant with my parents,  we really liked everything, the atmosphere was super, the music was pleasant and not loud.  We got there in the evening and there were few people and the service was fast.  The waiter Ivo was very friendly and pleasant, he found out that we understand Russian and we talked a little.  I ordered pasta, and my parents ordered meat with potatoes and pizza, everything was hot and very very tasty.  The drinks were also very tasty.  We really enjoyed.  We will definitely come there again.  We recommend this place.

Da People in Old Town Stockholm is an absolute Italian gem in Stockholms old town. From the cozy Italian like ambiance to the absolute delightful menu. I am a loyal client coming here over time for more than 5 years. A must-visit for those seeking a memorable italian homemade dining in the heart of the old town in Stockholm. A big plus for the very attentive and caring service also. ❤️

Truffelpasta, olives and garlic bread were very delicious. But the pizza vegetariana was not very good: little sauce, little cheese and peppercorns were not a good addition. Would recommend to put courgette and cherry tomatoes as well. But overall experience was really good, really kind staff and service was fast. :)
