👍👍 This was probably the nicest and most affordable dining experience I’ve had during my travels. The atmosphere was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. The portions were large, delicious, and affordable - 149 SEK for a large meal of beef bourguignon, which also included bread, a salad, water, coffee... This was probably the nicest and most affordable dining experience I’ve had during my travels. The atmosphere was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. The portions were large, delicious, and affordable - 149 SEK for a large meal of beef bourguignon, which also included bread, a salad, water, coffee/tea, and little biscuit crackers. The service was quick, and the staff was kind. Will definitely return when back in Stockholm!

Good food but the service was very slow. We waited at 10 minutes before we were attended. A couple came and waited for 10 minutes and then they left without eating or drinking anything.

Staff was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful to a first time visitor to the city. Staff spoke excellent English. Menus were printed in English and Swedish. Traditional Swedish fare was served, which was exactly what I was looking for. I was encouraged to choose my own seat and picked one by the windows where I could people watch. Outside seating was available, but due to the weather I chose to sit inside. I thought prices were reasonable.

Seemed like a really nice restaurant, but when we were there, we were waiting to be seated for quite a long time. None of the staff showed up to even greet us or even paid attention to us. To make it worst there were multiple groups of people waiting there beside us, and we were all so confused what to do. We eventually left and went to other nearby restaurants.

Here you can have amazing traditionally Köttbullar. Nice, clean, tastefully and shiny restaurant in the heart of Stockholm with fair prices and friendly service.

Brilliant restaurant right before the entrance of Gamla Stan. Serving a mix of Swedish staples and other assorted dishes. I had the Kottbullar aka the meatballs with the potatoes and lingonberries. It’s the first time I experienced this curious combination of flavours and I was blown away. We also ordered the Toast Skagen and my wife ordered the saffron infused fish stew which also had a very interesting twist to the normal fish stews which I had before. Overall o feel it’s a best restaurant for an intro to Swede cuisine. The staff and service was great and they were all friendly. Ambience is great as well.

We tried this bistro on our first night in Stockholm and it definitely set the bar high for our future dining experiences in the city. The bistro was very cozy with nice decoration, located centrally near many transport stations. Our waiter was very polite and attentive from the start of our experience. The menu had several choices but we ended up choosing the fish n chips and halstrad lax, both fish dishes. Both dishes were extremely well prepared and very flavorful. The portion size was generous and the presentation of the food itself was very well done. We had a white wine with our meal that paired very nicely. The dessert menu also had several tasty looking options but we settled on the brownie, which was also well prepared and flavorful. The overall experience here was a wonderful start to our holiday and we will definitely be coming back on any future visits to the city.

Great service and recommendations by our waitress didn't disappoint. Included baked cod, potato cake, mushroom pasta dish, rhubarb and raspberry crumble-like dish and mini pancakes with jam.

We only stopped for a drink after work and enjoyed it on the glassed in patio. Enjoyed the city views and people watching, but stayed warm enough in the November cold evening. Friendly staff, after work drink specials available.

Excellent dinner here, with superb service. Highly recommend! 💙 A good variety of starters and snacks, with many fish mains -- but also meatballs and adjustments for vegetarians too. Really friendly, helpful service in a relaxed setting. Thank you!

The restaurant has a pleasant semi-chic ambiance, the food was tasty and very well presented. The waiters are friendly, we came with an offer from the fork and there was no problem with it. I would say the menu is Swedish/European. Average price for Stockholm, 300-400sek per person.

This cafe sits just outside the Gamla Stan Isle, a 5minute walk from the palace exit. It has a lovely feel to its outdoor and indoor section. It is a nice spot to come to after walking through Gamla Stan and you need to relax your feet and have a bite. The outdoor section is divided with high glass panels but is still not enclosed. Their menu is not huge but covers most needs. They also serve several beverages including a nice warm glass of Irish Cafe. Go for the local meatballs and mash potatoes, the sauce was amazing. The service is alright... It's good. We even got a meal reheated on request and the waiter was kind enough to do. The staff speaks English as well. The ambience is comfortable and prices are.reasonable.

Solo woman traveller. Made very welcome, very relaxed vibe. Food and service excellent. Went twice on my city break to Stockholm, which is unusual for me as usually like to try somewhere different. The food was so good couldn't help myself.😍

Surprisingly good restaurant! Me and a couple of friends visited and has great Swedish/french food, good service and very cheap drinks- that is not easy to find in Stockholm! If you are looking for a great dinner party with friends but want to avoid a massive bill - come here.

I enjoyed a classic dish, fish and chips! The crispy batter, tender fish, and hearty fries make it a comforting and delicious meal, often associated with British cuisine.

Nice place to have a quick meal. The food was good, and the prices are ok. Kudos to the waitress who was the only one serving all the open-air tables.

Lovely salmon and amazing steak tartare, service very slow despite restaurant being almost empty, but waitress proactively provided a discount due to the delay.

Nice little restaurant with decent food at quite friendly prices, given the location. They have a few Swedish classics on the menu and some with a twist, but also more international food like one of my favourites - tarte flambé. Nice place to just stop for a drink as well.

Nice enough restaurant. Staff was nice. I had the fish and chips and the breading isn't great, but I was drunk so I couldn't really care. Better beer selection down the street, but the beer I had was fine.

After a long day of walking the city in winter this plate of köttbullar accompanied with glögg really hit the spot. I have found myself at this same restaurant over my stays in Stockholm over the years.

Bistro Rolf de Maré had some delicious food. The servers were very kind and spent some extra time with us. The Swedish Meatballs were great!

Ordered biff ala lindström för lunch at sek 135. Reasonably priced and delicious meal. The portion is slightly bigger than usual size and it's a plus. Some places in Stockholm offer lunch menu which you have to pay a lot more but you don't get much food. Here, they're not stingy at all. A well worth visit. 👍

Enjoyable food at a very decent price. I had pork loin on potato pancakes with lingonberries, which I enjoyed—a few too many berries, making it a bit too sweet, but still overall enjoyed. My wife had pasta from the specials list, but it was a little too salty; still enjoyed, though. Prices were very decent, plus we booked through The Fork app and got 20% off. There was no hassle in getting this money off either. I recommend a visit if you're looking for a decent-value place. Not the go-to for fine dining, but it's worth it for the price :)

We ordered a starter which was supposed to be Gruyère cheese with jam and some croutons and this is what we got for the price of more than 100 SEK (10 EUR). At first we laughed it off… but I went back in reviews and a photo from a year ago makes me think this is not how that appetizer is supposed to look like at all, and we were actually served some leftovers. The service was very slow in addition to the above. And the restaurant has the audacity to suggest tipping during the bill payment (sorry, for what?!). Would not recommend this place.
