A great tour and experience. The English tour on 8/10/2021 at 7 p.m. was great (unfortunately I don't have the name of the great guide anymore). Was it Cullum? It wasn't Louis! There was no way it was Louis. The language was especially great, everything was very clear and very well articulated (unfortunately I didn't understand all the words but that was due to my vocabulary) it is really an experience with normal English through the performance of the actor and the story opens up. It's very interactive and there is a lot to laugh about. Thank you for a great evening

The Tour Guide was a real character and made the tour interesting by interacting with the audience at various stages along the way. It was a very cold night which added to the atmosphere. Overall it was enjoyable and Yes I would recommend.

Fantastic evening with Callum (even though it was raining!). The tour was great and funny. I get to hold his staff. A lot of jokes cracked me up and although I have been living in this country for almost a year now, it's great to finally be able to know the macabre side of Gamla Stan's history. Highly recommended.

We participated on the English speaking walk and Cody was the amazing guide. Very captivating, engaging and fun! The only minor detail is, that based on the name I expected more ghost stories. The tour could be renamed "the bloody history of Stockholm", however it was great to experience the old town and hear about the gory historical events!

This is an exceptional tour. Our guide, Callum, is an outstanding storyteller who conveyed the history of Stockholm with energy and wit. He discusses the horrors of the Black Plague, the Bloodbath sanctioned by Christian the Tyrant, and lesser known local murders and disappearances. If you enjoy history this tour brings to life these events where they occurred. Highly recommended.

Incredible ghost walk. Chris, the guide is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Telling us loads of Swedish history and the Swedish building design. Definitely worth to visit. Once again thanks for Chris guidance.

Chris showed us around Gamla Stan / Old Town with a group of exchange students. 1h 30min is the perfect amount of time. It is a great way to learn the history of Old Town and also see some of the narrow streets and beautiful houses. Chris was super energetic and fun, will definitely book this in the future for other groups visiting Stockholm.

If I was able to do just one thing while being in Sweden that would be this amazing - fantastic - fascinating - thrilling Ghost Tour in the beautiful area of the old town of Stockholm, the feeling while experiencing this tour is out of this period , you will be feeling like you are in 1900s and the tour guide is actually from back then.... I cant remember his name Calolm? Louis maybe? Not sure... But ohhhh he was absolutely brilliant tour guide, you couldnt tell that he was acting , pure Scottish accent perfect for this experience... This is just pure talent and love for his job! I suggest everyone reading this to go and enjoy this amazing experience while in Stockholm, even if you are living in Stockholm, believe me, you will experience your town as never before! The price for 90 minutes and for what you will experience is quite really cheap for Sweden! Just go for it!!! (My suggestion is going for a night tour if its available 👀, more spooky)

A highlight to my trip, Callum was amazing! A great blend of acting, history and ghost stories. A good sized group and nice pace through Old Town. Would recommend to all!

Tour was very fun and entertaining. Don’t be afraid to join in the fun and volunteer. A fun and quirky way to learn a little about Gamla Stan and some dark history of Stockholm as a whole. Highly recommend and Calolm was fantastic.

I loved the tour! It was a great way to see the city and hear about its past. The history behind some of the places in Gamla Stan are much darker than expected. Our group had a great time with Coby! He was very nice and funny. His acting as the tour guide was amazing! I greatly recommend this trip, you wouldn’t want to miss it.

I loved the Ghost Walk! Chris was super fun, is an excellent storyteller and the information he shared along the tour was really unique. It was a pleasure from start to the end. He has a fantastic personality and a lovely ginger beard!

Had a great time at the Stockholm Ghost Walk ! Our guide , Chris , was a great story teller and explained everything really well . Learned lots of interesting facts about Gamla Stan , there were some good crime stories which I haven’t heard on another tours that I’ve done here . However , since this is a ghost walk , I was expecting more ghost stories . I’m from Toronto and I thought coming to Stockholm I would get to hear about some cool older ghosts , but there were very few actual ghost stories , and more spooky historical facts ( which I still loved ) . Overall it was a really engaging tour , it lasted 1.5h but it felt like it went by so fast . Thank you to Chris and everyone who organizes this !

We got a Guide called Calum and it was absolutely amazing. Cool outfit, nice acting and lots of humor and storytelling. Would highly recommend to take a tour with calum, since he absolutely made our night. Thanks! And we will definitely come back! Kind regards from Austria

Callum was fantastic. He must be an actor. He really put his heart into it. Great stories, great performance and great information. 10 stars! I really love ghost tours and this one was superb. In fact, I plan to go again the next time I visit. Hopefully it will be a little warmer then… take some hand warmers & toe warmers if you go now (Nov) thru spring. 10 stars!

I enjoyed our evening ghost & history walk with Calolm - the chap's good craic and tells his stories well. What I would say, though, is that if you're not fairly good in understanding English, you might want to book a tour in your native language, if available, or else pay very close attention - for ye can take the Scot out of Scotland, but ye cannae take Scotland out of the Scot. That aside, plenty to see and hear while you walk through Gamla Stan. I'd say, surely worth the money.

I went on a group tour, solo, with Callum in March of 2022. It was by far…THE BEST thing I did in Stockholm. He was sarcastically hilarious, informative on historic details, and as dramatic as he needed to be to get his point across that Stockholm has a bloody past. I can not recommend this enough. I only wish he could walk through Atlanta for me and entertain me along the way.

I had a great tour with Callum through the old town of Stockholm. It was a great experience with an amazing guide who loves what he does. He really lives his role and captures every member of the group. I highly recommend going on the Ghost walk during „night time“ when it’s dark outside.

Great tour and experience. We took the English tour last Monday afternoon with the guide Calolm (if I remember his name well, it was not Louis for sure :P). It was super engaging and quite interesting experience. I recommend it 100%

(late October) Really good, although at times it felt like there was too much info rushed through. the tour guide was witty and knowledgeable, the feel of Stockholm at night certainly added to the experience and to the imagination. I definitely reccomend it, a feel good and fun tour in Gamla and the historic spots of Stockholm.

A cold, clear November Monday evening, our Guide Callum took us through the streets of Gamla Stan. I, who am Swedish, took my English speaking friend, and we both got to learn a lot of history. But it was not like any ol' guided tour, this one I might actually remember! It was intriguing, and our guide so fantastic at telling the stories of the past! I forgot I was in a group being led around town, and I was able to imagine the things he was talking about since he was fantastically engaging. My friend who I took kept leaning over, whispering to me - Ohhh this is soo good. So I am concluding that this evening was a success for being a special night out with my friend.

A really captivating, fun and out of the ordinary way to get to know the city. In the approx. 2h of our tour with Callum, he was professional, helpful, funny and an excellent tour guide (with a macabre twist). He took us to so many different historical places of Gamla Stan with enthusiasm and passion, where he narrated true historical stories about Stockholm. Quite enjoyable. He interacts with the crowd constantly and his playful way of handling the tour made other tourists ask us for information about the tour on the way. (That's how good it is ;).) In the end of the tour he has a little surprise with a twist which you have to simply experience for yourself. ;) We recommend it all the way.

It was a great experience! Did our walk with Callum and he was great fun and an excellent guide. Very good with the group making it a truly interactive tour. We saw some exciting parts of the Old Town that we otherwise wouldn't have visited. The length of the tour was good too. Highly recommended!

If you visit Stockholm, this ghost tour is A MUST!!! For the English tour, Callum told us everything scary about the city and he was an ABSOLUTE LEGEND!! Do not make the mistake of skipping this tour and book your tickets now!

Amazing experience with Callum, who told us all about Stockholm dark history with a dramatic flare. Very entertaining and lovely, would recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm! We met at the Evert Taube statue (pictured) 😊

Amazing tour. Our guide, Calum, was incredible. He is an excellent actor, storyteller and entertainer and managed to keep whole group engaged.

  • 5/5 Alexa M. 1 year ago on Google
Chris was a great tour guide! It was quite a large group and I was concerned we wouldn't hear everything, but we did and he entertained us the whole time. The tour is much more of a spooky historical guide to Old Town rather than ghost stories per se, which was great and I would have been happy either way! You do need to be able bodied enough to handle the cobbles and not be afraid of enclosed spaces or afraid of the dark! Those things come at the end and I'm sure you could just avoid the final 15 mins if so. But it's a great way to learn about Gamla Stan and have fun at the same time.

Callum (Calolm!!!)!!!! You can't imagine a better guide! We really really enjoyed our tour, his thrilling but also funny stories about the history of Stockholm and the beautiful Gamla Stan! We highly highly recommend!! :)

As mu home city I love Stockholm and this tour opened my eyes to the city I live. It was such a good experience. The guides really know their stuff. The best part for me was the castle.
