Hotel
rooms
without
a
window
are
a
thing
in
Stockholm
and
not
only
am
I
claustrophobic,
I
think
it
is
an
insane
concept
in
case
of
emergency
-
not
to
mention
that
the
"discount"
tends
to
be
just
$10-20/room.
Therefore
for
Hotel
C,
I
screenshot
all
descriptions,
terms
and
photos
before
booking.
Of
course
they
gave
me
a
room
without
a
window.
Crazy
tiny,
max
10
sq
meters
for
$135!
I
complained,
"I
would
never
have
booked
it
if
there
was
anything
that
stated
windowless
or
'subject
to
availability'".
The
two
young
receptionists
argued
with
me,
first
they
said
that
I,
"didn't
read
the
offer
carefully",
so
I
took
out
my
screenshots
and
showed
them.
Then
one
receptionist
said
they
weren't
to
blame,
"it
was
booked
through
a
third
party."
I
said,
"Then
you
need
to
take
it
up
with
them,
not
me.
A
contract
is
a
contract,
I
booked
a
normal,
standard
room
and
have
proof,
which
you
are
LEGALLY
obliged
to
honor.
Take
it
up
with
the
platform."
Interestingly,
she
then
said
that
because
they,
"exceptionally
have
a
lot
of
availability,
I
can
change
your
room."
I
thanked
her
and
went
to
the
room,
but
was
puzzled:
the
hotel
now
cannot
claim
that
they
gave
me
a
windowless
room
because
there
was
no
availability
of
standard
rooms.
The
new
room
has
NO
wifi,
though
it
clearly
states
in
the
terms,
"Free
wifi".
Thank
god
we
are
here
for
only
16
hours,
I
am
totally
disgusted
at
the
blatant
fraud.
