Great hotel near the station and the center. I slept in a Classic King room which was really nice and quite big. As I said before, the vicinity with the station makes travelling from the airport and around the city easier with public transportation. The gym is quite nice and I found the sauna a bit small. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice. The staff at the reception were very nice. I had minor incident with was promptly resolved by the manager who took care of the matter in a very professional way. Definitely going back to this hotel.

I had a decent stay at the Sheraton Stockholm. It's an older property, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is well maintained. The reception staff were very welcoming, which set a positive tone for my visit. A highlight was the amazing loyalty upgrade I received – a lovely gesture that greatly enhanced my stay. However, I was a bit disappointed with the lounge options; at around 10pm, there were no offerings available – no drinks, snacks, nor staff, even though it was still open. On the plus side, the location is quite convenient, being just a 5-10 minute walk from the central station. This made it easy to get around the city and to the airport.

Worst reception ever! Worst one. Rude, stupid, not able to communicate with them. Everyone please read the low star ratings for those receptions. Small dirty noisy stinky room! How can this be 5 star hotel? At most 3 star! Marriott please review this hotel and low the star so that people do not get expectation. Also send all receptions for a training how to talk, how to welcome guest, how to smile, how to look at the guest while talking. Never come again.

Great access to Old town and the ferries. The staff is very friendly. A great breakfast spread. Our suite was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was luxurious but the functional furniture and cleanliness is all re require. We had a coffee maker, water, and a mini fridge (was not stocked) for our use. Our suite over looked the water and we were on the third floor. Room was quiet. The fitness center was very clean and had a great selection of exercise equipment. Once again, the location and staff make this hotel a great place to stay while in Stockholm. We were able to walk from the train station with our suitcases with no problems.

Eres have spent 4 nights in this Sheraton hotel, that although well located, it’s standards are disappointing. We were in meant to be superior room, and what was utterly unacceptable was that without any warnings at the time of reservation or at the time of check-in, we were waking up at 8 am by workman restoring the fassade. The hotel response was poor. The rooms were oldish with far to soft mattress, probably as a result of age. Certainly not the hotel to go, at least as part of a vacation The gym is small, the men’s sauna was not working.

Nice hotel in the center of Stockholm. Comfortable, spacious room but bathroom was outdated (shower in the bath). Breakfast was good. Personel behind the bar was not very friendly, and checking in and out took too much time. Prices were quite high, also because a convention was held during my stay.

Hotel is okay, but I think it is very high price. Staff are friendly that is European staff, Swedish people . I like this sauna is open through the night to use, especially I have insomnia. That is the good point. Broom felt a little bit like it needed updating. The bathroom is good but the flooring little bit cold feel location is really good. It is in downtown central Stockholm

If you want a hotel that is fancy yet cheap, then this one is absolutely perfect for you. When I first arrive, the hotel looks super clean and has very calm and nice staff. The entire room was so pretty and looked like something you would pay a pretty good amount for. The breakfast buffet was so big, it had so many different drinks, such as coffee, juice, milk, and the list goes on. They had so many different types of food to pick and had so many classic breakfast foods such as bacon, eggs, pancakes, and other foods. Food 10/10, service 10/10, room 10/10, so let’s just say that there will be a 10/10 percent chance I will be coming again.

Very good place. Room are quiet and very nice view on the sea. Breakfast is various and very good. Location is perfect to visit Stockholm. Why I didn't put 5 stars: for small things that matters in a five stars hotel: one of the legs of the armchair was broken, quality of the wood for door in the room not fresh, noise isolation of the windows in the room can be improved, not enough plug for chargers...and bathroom is very small. But I recommend the hotel and I will come back.

Great location of the hotel in the city centre. Sheraton beds with pillow selection is great as always. Interior is normal size of the room with big samsung TV, bathroom includes bath tub, king size bed, 2 sofas and coffee table. Many restaurants and coffee shops within short walking distance. Enjoy

The first thing that stood out to us is how friendly and really helpful all the staff are. This always makes a huge difference to our trips. Not once was anyone rude in anyway, so big praise to the staff and management here. That said, this is our first visit to Sweden and I’m generally finding all the Swedish people very pleasant. The second thing is the breakfast. This is really great with a huge choice of food and drinks. From fruits and cereals to lively breads, pastries and hot food too. It’s excellent value considering Sweden is generally not the cheapest place to eat out. Again, very nice and helpful staff here. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was very slightly worn in parts if I was being pedantic but nothing of major concern. There are also super views depending on the room you have. I would certainly look to stay here again on my next visit.

I had a pleasant stay there. The bed was nice and cozy. There was noise from the bathroom not sure if it was a fan or from a pipe. it did not bother me as it sounded like a white noise to help me sleep. there were so many options for the breakfast buffet. the breakfast was not included with the room. the bar and the restaurant at the hotel were great. the service was excellent. the house keeper was also friendly and made you feel welcome. there was no clock in the room however a wake up call service is available. you can walk to the old town and the metro/subway station is nearby. super convenient.

The bar at Clarion Hotel offered a cozy ambiance with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable, recommending a delightful selection of cocktails. Prices were reasonable for a hotel setting, and the drink options were varied. While the bar wasn't overly crowded during my visit, it provided a relaxed environment to unwind after a long day. Overall, a pleasant experience for a hotel bar, suitable for both solo travelers and groups.

We really enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Stockholm. All the staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were very kind, lovely and met us with a big smile always. We got help whenever we asked for it. When we had a problem they solved it immediately and I was really surprised. Great view and location. It is close to the tram, shopping center and restaurant. Plus the food was delicious at the hotel. I would definitely love to go back again and stay at the Sheraton. Staying there made our vacation even better.

The room on the first day had a dirty floor and carpet with food stuck to it. I had to request to have that cleaned up. The facility overall was very bitten down. Chairs, tables and sofas at room, lounge and breakfast room where dirty and worn off. The lounge space was very small and at peak hours you couldn't find a place to seat. Same goes for the breakfast area. For the price and rating, the expectations were not met at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is NOT 5 star hotel. We were here for one night. First impression was terrible. Bad smell all around hotel. I’ll add pictures for what you get if you decide to stay here. From one side of hotel is construction work. From other side road and terrible noise. We took room with view- you will see on the picture actual view on road with permanent traffic. When we did check in- nobody help us with luggage. So we reloaded everything from our car, which we parked near entrance. Near entrance were not any sign that it is forbidden to stop nearby. So during checking we got fine 150 euro in just 5 minutes. Rooms are also bad cleaned and have not minibar. Breakfast was pure and place for breakfast was smell and dull. So mostly impression was - hotel is very old, need renovation and totally need to change management, because persons on reception was not polite and nice. So avoid this hotel. In Stockholm you can find much better for same price.

Fabulous location. Convenient to all the attractions or to transit services to get you there. Staff is professional and attentive throughout. Lounge could use a bit of expansion work, but if that's the only negative, then so be it.

The hotel is close to the central train station of Stockholm. Very nice located next to bridge that takes you to the old town (5’ walking) The view of the room was breathtaking. But I suppose that all rooms have the same view!!!!! The breakfast was delicious and People who was working there were very polite !!!

My wife and I only stopped for breakfast, and at night, for the bar area, so we could get a quick bite to eat. We did not stay at the hotel. The service, overall, was perfect, and QUICK. Nothing was low quality, and we found the speed and friendliness of the service so good that we used this place as an escape from the summer heat, or just to rest our feet.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was nice and big but the hotel felt a bit outdated. Elevators were really small and were not very clean. However breakfast was wonderful with ample choice.

Stayed here for 3 nights - the hotel is right opposite the train station and walking distance to old town and other tourist spots. Rooms were a bit small though. We had lounge access being titanium and it was ok not great. The view from the room was amazing and sunset at 2.45pm!

Great location to go famous places in Stockholm. It is within 5 minutes walking distance from Stockholm central station. Also you can visit Gamla stan by walk. It’s very convenient to go anywhere. The building was old, but the room was clean.

The hotel is in need of a complete renovation. Especially the plumbing. There was a sewage odor in our room coming from the bathroom. A staff member came in to fix the issue but without result. The smell was stronger than ever in the morning. Based on previous reviews, the hotel has known about this problem for a long time and still continue to rent out these rooms. They couldn’t offer an alternative room. No compensation. Not even an apology on checkout.

The hotel is very much centrally located and has all the advantage of covering the city walking around. The staff is quite friendly. However, in a peak time, you may be waiting even half an hour at the reception for check-in. Despite being gold customer. They were parking possibility, but you really don’t know exactly which spaces are allocated to the hotel. It is sunny to sleep also Sixt parking. You need to be very careful parking in front of the hotel as you may get immediately ticket.

Wonderful experience and service. Right next to the Gamla Stan and main shopping areas, I would highly recommend staying here when in Stockholm. As a valued Marriott Platinum, you have access to a lounge (it is small but good) with fantastic breakfast and dinner snack items. Service was impeccable. Note the hotel is large so request a room close to the elevator. Rooms were very well maintained. Many business travelers use this hotel as a base and it was super crowded but well managed during our 4 night stay.

Really nice hotel, as expected from Sheraton. Rooms are very nice and spacious, gym had a lot to offer and I liked the location. The only reason I have 4 stars for the room is that in my junior suite I had a separate living room with large TV, but that device was not connected and I was unable to watch a movie on Netflix or cast from my phone. Breakfast was ok but gets very busy.

Fantastic hotel. Exceeded expectations. Location is ideal. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size. Beds are very comfortable and a big size. Room cleanliness was exceptional. Highly recommend. Couldn't fault the hotel at all.

Not a great hotel for a holiday, probably better for business travelers. Staff are cold and unfriendly. (Although the night security guard was very nice!) Our beds weren’t comfortable and the tv didn’t work well. Location was nice and we enjoyed the the two double beds for families which is hard to come by in Europe. Overall though, there’s better options and we won’t return

This was a lovely hotel. I was greeted at the door by smiling associates. My room was ready with a mobile check-in. Beds were comfortable and breakfast, although not included with the room was a full Swedish buffet breakfast. Many of the tables had a view of the street and the bridge to Kungsgaten. Although the breakfast queue was long, I did not have to wait for food to be prepared. Everything was fully stocked continually. This hotel is well worth the investment in a Stockholm adventure.

This is a three star hotel NOT five. The hotel is no better than a Ibis hotel. They don't even have a mini bar in the room, you have to order a bar service package and the choice is poor! The interior is bordering 1980's. For the price, I would go to a 3 star Hotel. On the Plus side the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

BAD HOTEL, don’t expect anything close to luxury, but reasonably priced for what it is. Three stars for the good breakfast and cleanliness. Otherwise, beds were uncomfortable, bad service and cold design and interiors, not ideal for winter in Stockholm. If you can shell out more for a nicer hotel do it. We stayed here just because it was Marriott but it is much lower quality than most Sheraton hotels we’ve stayed at

Hotel is definitely getting old. You can see a lot of wear and tear. Also no means to accommodate/prioritize hotel guests for dining is a bit frustrating but staff was nice and great location.

Great Location, tired 5 star hotel that needs some refurbishment however, the staff make it 5 stars! Special thanks to Ava and Marie for the early check in and kindly printing my boarding passes after my phone was damaged.

Great location and nice and clean inside. Rooms were modern and comfortable. If you’re facing the courtyard area, it’s not the best view. Almost like a prison. But we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. Service was good both at check in and the restaurant. Unfortunately, it never seemed like anyone was working at the concierge. Breakfast was good but got busy. It could be better organized. Its a free for all to get a table but after a waitress helped us get a table and told us we could get our food at the buffet while she got our drinks, someone took our table and drinks she had left. We told them it was our table but they were pretty rude and didn’t budge. They should be seating people at tables to prevent this free for all chaos. The burgers and Swedish meatballs were very good. Was nice to have a restaurant open if you don’t want to go out. All in all, it was a nice stay and I’d likely come back.

Great rooms a short walk from old town. We had a great view of old town from our room. Nice lobby bar and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was clean and toiletries were very nice. Big rooms. Excellent spot. Helpful staff.

Great location. Super nice staff. Good luggage storage. Large room and bathroom, huge bed. Would appreciate mlre hangers in the closet. No hair dryer in the room. Good pillows. Breakfast was plentiful and had many vegan options (even cheese). Ask for a room higher than first floor - that floor has a smaller window. Very good gym, also a small sauna, open 24/7. We booked early, so also very good value for money.

  • 5/5 Angela L. 1 year ago on Google
Great location as walking to distance to everywhere. Feels like a safe area, so you feel comfortable walking to and from hotel anytime of the day. Reception staff (Roberto) really welcomed us. Our room was comfortable with view of the courtyard (used points for this stay) and was given late checkout which we didn’t use but was nice to be offered as an option (again because of points/rewards status) and we would stay here again next time in Stockholm for the location and great check in/ check out service.

Pretty solid Marriott hotel - friendly staff who are very accommodating. Location is perfect for visiting the old town. Rooms on the outside of hotel have some great views. Breakfast was ok, nothing special and pretty chaotic (wouldn’t pay extra for this)

Great location! In the Middle of attractions, Great staffs , friendly and polite. The bar has drinks that make you feel nice and loose. The room was clean and comfy, prepared neatly; I felt well relaxed , after a long flight, my room was dark and cold, fell asleep fast and peaceful, well energized the following. Day. It’s a 4-5 min Walking distance to the train station, many restaurants to choose from. The Hop On and Hop Off tour is across the street, will take you to historical landmarks. You Can walk / bike ride to explore the atmosphere, it’s safe. Their gym is nice for a quick work out. Im happy to come back.

I always feel welcome when arriving at Stockholm Sheraton hotel regardless if for business or pleasure. Friendly check-in staff and great rooms. The lounge is located on upper floor and is well catered. Overall a very well managed hotel. Well done.

Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for a few nights and had an amazing time in Stockholm ! There was a minor inconvenience when checking in which was handled so professionally by Leah at the reception who took great care of us. We were looked after amazingly and everyone on staff was super friendly :). The city is so beautiful and we will definitely be coming back in the future

Fantastic central spot, easy walk from the main station and just a bridge walk to Gamla Stan. Staff were all really helpful in every element of the hotel we used (front desk, bar, restaurant) and rooms were a great size, bathroom well laid out and stocked. There was an empty minibar which was great as we kept fresh milk for a cuppa. Surprisingly quiet despite nearby building works and a busy location. Overall a fabulous stay!

  • 5/5 Paul A. 1 year ago on Google
The location of this hotel is great, very close to central station and just a short walk over the bridge to Gamla Stan. The rooms were comfy, especially the beds. We had access to the club lounge, which was nice, it had a selection of teas/coffee and in the evening beers, wines and spirits. They also have a small selection of food. The staff in every part of the hotel were nice and professional.

We made a last minute booking here when we were unsatisfied with a different hotel we planned to stay in in Copenhagen. The staff were wonderful, the room was excellent, and the facilities were top notch. I have zero complaints and would stay here again if I traveled back.

  • 5/5 Abi H. 1 year ago on Google
As fantastic as every Sheraton I've stayed at, rooms are a decent size with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The location was brilliant, near to transport links including the train station and tram stops. Loads of restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean, would stay here again but would request we have a room facing the courtyard as the traffic was very noisy and loud horns kept waking me up in the middle of the night.

Been to other 5 star hotels where they go the extra mile when it's your special day, this one doesn't care. Was told 5 mins wait til check in, room is ready just needs checking but ended up waiting almost an hour which is like eternity when you have a toddler. Tired Mum from flight NOT impressed.

  • 5/5 Kieran V. 2 years ago on Google
Great hotel, great location and great staff. The hotel is centrally located, and a short 5-10 minute walk from the central train station and the Arlanda express from the airport. The staff were incredibly polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and very spacious, although maybe slightly dated in certain aspects. The restaurant and bar in the lobby are pretty good and not excessively priced either. I didn't use the gym or the sauna but these were available to all guests.

  • 5/5 Lina B. 11 months ago on Google
Location location location! This hotel is placed strategically. Close to the train station, all kinds of shops, but still in a quiet corner of the city. The food is great and we had an amazing view from our room. Staff is very helpful and polite. Rooms are in good shape.

  • 3/5 Gabriel F. 10 months ago on Google
Overpriced and overrated. It’s outdated and the service is rather minimum-effort, which is its biggest fault. Its redeeming qualities are the location, the view (if you pick the right room), and the comfortable bed. The desk is nice too, if you need to work from the hotel. More details: The shower was overflowing, which I complained about and still didn’t get fixed. The ironing board was crooked and wobbly, almost had a serious accident before requesting a replacement. Some items they require you to buy from a vending machine, which wasn’t even working.

I stayed at Sheraton Stockholm for a weekend break. I chose the hotel mainly because of its location (near the central station) but also because of Sheraton's reputation for excellent service. The hotel and staff certainly lived up to this reputation. The room was spacious with excellent views on the lake and breakfast was copious with the excellent cinnamon buns. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Stockholm hotel and would strongly recommend this hotel.
