This stylish and elegant accommodation offers an ideal location with excellent public transport connections. Nearby, a plethora of dining options await discovery. The warm and helpful staff enhance the experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A highlight is their tasty breakfast buffet, setting you up perfectly for a day of adventure. A delightful stay indeed!

I stayed here while on business in Stockholm and really enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet was great (apart from the bacon which cut my gums). Central location only seconds from the subway. Staff were really friendly and there's no pretentious feelings here, everyone is welcome. Will definitely be staying again.

The hotel is close to the metro station, ideal for touring the city. It is very easy to reach from the airport. The area is really nice, a walk by the beach is close by, a lot of shops and restaurants as well. The room is small but well equipped with good quality toiletries and a very comfortable bed: the best holiday sleep of my life! Breakfast is excellent too: very rich with a lot of options (maybe a lack of chocolate, but nothing to worry about). The staff is friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa inside the hotel, which has a special price for hotel guests, and had a nice couple hours relaxing in the pool and sauna.

Went here for a couple of nights on a longer trip through Sweden. This was a really good hotel with quite spacious rooms with great views. My room unfortunately didn't have working air conditioning however they do normally. The breakfast buffet was quite large, with a lot of items to choose from. The quality of the food was average but still quite good. If you're looking for a hotel with a good price and good rooms, then this is the one.

This hotel had its own exit to the Metro. Well, at least there is easy to see signage, and the walk is 30 seconds once you get to street level. The rooms are fine and the beds are soft enough for old hips. The breakfast buffet is bountiful and bodacious.

We had a corner room on the 6th floor. Was fairly spacious. Mini bar/fridge was not working properly but extremely friendly staff were willing to hold our leftovers in their fridge. Very good breakfast with a ton of options. Right near transit and supermarket and lots of restaurants. Right near the river. Nice deep tub for some good soaking.

My room was small. Otherwise very clean, including the bathroom. The only thing that bothered me was that you couldn't adjust the heating temperature. It was very hot and since you couldn't open the window, you couldn't even get fresh air. The breakfast was great. Lots of choices indeed. It's a shame to miss it :-) Also the location is great!!

Awesome hotel made so much better by the super helpful staff who can’t do enough for you to make sure everything is just perfect. Great location right next to the train station. Please be aware if driving that you don’t navigate to the hotel but to the public car park round the back. Perfect location for company conference or product launch. Really nice food, huge breakfast selection to choose from. Evening meal at the company event was out of this world especially considering how many they caters for +200 guests. I can highly recommend this hotel!

Took a star off because radiator in room didn't work and in December that's not great. Plus, not enough towels for both of us, this was rectified the next day. We knew they were busy with no more rooms available, so did not bother to complain about heating at the time, so it is not all their fault. However, I do feel that housekeeping would have known as it was obvious when you walked into the room, plus when we compared it with the other two rooms our family had, we could feel the difference. The breakfast looked great, not good if you're gluten free though, just crispbread, roll or muesli. I felt jealous of the cooked breakfast, cold meats and fruit available, but daren't eat in case of cross contamination. The hotel had been informed that one of us needed GF food. Positives: beds were very comfortable, it was nice and clean, quality shower gel etc, very friendly staff, the breakfast host needs a special mention here, she was lovely. There's a bar which serves snacks (again not good for gluten free) and cocktails along with the usual drinks. It has the fastest smoothest lifts/elavators ever. None of us used the spa so cannot comment as we only stayed 2 nights at the Stockholm centre Hotel. Had to spend another night at the Clarion at the airport, due to a flight cancellation and that too was a short and pleasant stay.

Returned after 14 years and was glad to see that it still has a great customer service. Thr junior suite room did not disappoint. Breakfast is still a real treat although not quite the feat it used to be. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars was the upper bar was closed for the entire time we were there which is a great shame.

The hotel itself is cool and stylish. Unfortunately, the rooms are super small and not the cleanest. On top, the hotel hosts plenty of events and fairs. This means that hundreds of people are flooding the hotel at the same time, all of them will be at the breakfast area at the same time and so on and so on. I do not have anything against hosting large groups of guests, but then these need to be separated from the regular guests. I do not want to wait 40 minutes for an omelette or 10 Minutes to find a free but super dirty table. Last but not least, I must highlight that the Spa Area is super cool but also expensive. Overall the hotel is good but has a lot of wasted potential.

Get cozy at Clarion Hotel Stockholm. The rooms are spacious, bright and warm and the breakfast incredibly delicious. The Elements SPA is amazing, which has an open swimming pool with warm water. The atmosphere in the hotel is chill and the staff incredibly polite and helpful - Thank you guys!

Place has a cool vibe. Have been staying here for years as my launching point for Stockholm Marathon and this year a bit more often throughout a summer in Sweden. Great location on Södermalm and close to running, food and beverage etc. They do a really good buffet breakfast. Bummer that in "winter" the outdoor bar shuts down. All in all a good stay, nice comfy and functional rooms. Friendly staff ...

We enjoyed our stay. I fell in love with Stockholm, the capital city of Scandinavia. Warning: if you have multiple pieces of luggage to carry from the hotel parking garage to the hotel, you might find it a little challenging.

The rooms are spacious, good quality, and quiet. Staff was very friendly, high quality breakfast and well done lunch. Overall it though lacks atmosphere. It is a huge hotel and rather feels like a mall. While the connection to downtown is quick using the Metro, the location itself is of no charm whatsoever, surrounded by suburban architecture and motorways. A convenient place for business travels, but not necessarily a nice place for private.

The Clarion Hotel Stockholm offers a delightful blend of modern comfort and sleek design. The rooms are well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat with stylish furnishings. The hotel's central location is a major plus, making it convenient for exploring Stockholm's attractions. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall guest experience. On-site amenities, including the restaurant and spa, contribute to a well-rounded stay. However, occasional noise from nearby activities can lead to that light sleepers might want to consider this factor.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for our duration of our visit to Stockholm. The hotel is in a great location - conveniently located right beside a tunnelbana station and many amenities such as shops and pharmacies if you need to grab some items. There are also several excellent restaurants not far from the hotel and the neighborhood felt very safe. There's a spa located in the hotel itself and a breakfast served buffet style each morning. The breakfast had several choices, including vegetarian and vegan options. Our only issue with the breakfast was dishes were a bit cold at times if they had not been freshly added to the buffet warmers. The hotel staff were all very friendly and attentive. The rooms are adequately sized, clean, and have a comfortable bed. The only issue we took with the room is the loudness of doors opening/shutting nearby - you can definitely hear your neighbors when they're entering or exiting. Aside from this there were no issues at all, overall Clarion was a comfortable, clean, and convenientally located hotel.

The Clarion Hotel Stockholm was great! Friendly front desk staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the best hotel breakfast I think I've ever had! The location of this hotel was perfect and located within steps of a metro station. I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to stay here the next time I visit Stockholm!

Large hotel. Great location. It has a metro right in front of it. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly stuff. You need to pay to use pool and spa area. The parking garage behind of the hotel is very expensive.

I really liked the location of the hotel as it is next to the train station. Also, I wanted to say thank you to Mariana P who has been really kind in giving us instructions as well as changing our room from a Twin bed to King bed. Another person that I want to mention is Mimi, she really has the energy to put you in a good mood even early morning with her smile. The only thing that could have let me enjoy my stay even better is the breakfast time as 9:30am is a bit early. Overall, I would stay again in this hotel as the customer service was excellent. Thank you,

Good rooms size. Perfect location at Skanstull. Excellent breakfast!!! However, the pool access and spa is on extra cost, which can be expensive. Overall, very welcoming and a great staff!

Great hotel, incredible breakfast, clean rooms, great staff. All the windows were dirty obscuring the "Complimentary view" stickers on the windows!!!? Very expensive pool €20 per person. Again, glass surrounding the pool was filthy obscuring the view!! Wine on the desk in the room is confusing! It is NOT complimentary in case you are wondering. The Hotel in general was very quiet and pleasant. Comfortable beds and clean room. I would stay again just don't expect any extras from a hotel that considers a view as the ONLY complimentary!

Stayed at the hotel between the 15th and 17th of September 2023. Great location with 2 mins access to the Metro (underground for the Brits). On the side, if you are travelling as a couple or more from Arlanda Airport, it makes more economic sense to book an uber/bolt as the price is almost the same or even less than the cost of using public transport (Arlanda Express and the Metro). The location is great as there are shops and eateries around, with a McDonalds just 4 minutes away. Amazing selection of breakfast with a wide array of food choices. I will rate it 5 stars. The hotel left a personal touch (tray of cheese and fruits) for my wife and I as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Check-in and check-out was smooth. There is a free storage if you have a late departure flight. The spa and sauna was amazing as well. Only issues is that I may suggest that hotel guest should have free access to either the Sauna or alternatively, when they pay for Sauna, they get a free massage. It makes no sense to pay to lodge as a guest, pay for sauna, and also pay for massage. Only downside is that the bed was not what we were expecting. It was a twin double bed and doesn't really suit well for an intimate sleeping session with your partner as the beds may drift apart, lol. Also, the central airconditioner was not producing heat when it got cold at night, despite setting it to the heat level. Additionally, the dinning experience at the restaurant for dinner was below par. Our table was not cleaned after the previous guests left and it has some residue of drink stain. My wife's got the wrong order (requested for well done beef but got a red one) and when the right order finally came, it was still a bit reddish and not well-done (don't know if thats the standard at Stockholm, but in London, well done means the absence of any form of redness in the meat). We had to go to the nearby McDonalds to top-up. Also found it weird to be asked to pay for food and drinks (including the option for tip) before being served - a bit weird as tips is meant to be given following a good dinning experience and not before being served. Overall, the hotel is amazing and the staff were very helpful, especially the black lady at the breakfast reception who made sure we signed up for the Strawberry before checking out so we don't lose our points and also get to experience from the array of benefits of Strawberry members. Also, all members of staff are bilingual and have a good command of English, so if you can't speak Swedish, you have no problems. Would have rated it 5 stars save for the drifting bed and the massage issues. Sure, we do hope to come back in the future as we enjoyed our short stay in Stockholm.

Convenient location by the metro station. Breakfast buffet with wide selection of healthy foods, and the service was friendly throughout our stay. The beds are amazing! I can only recommend this hotel.

Not as advertised. When I booked in January 23, hotel.com advertised the property with a pool and nowhere said about the fee. Even the information in the room doesnt make it clear. The fee is extortionate - £22 per person per visit. Extremely disappointing. Other than that, great location and excellent breakfast. Bed was very comfy, bathroom was basic. Some staff were wonderful, front desk blunt

A great location for anyone visiting Stockholm. Firstly, the hotel itself is very close to Skanstull T-Bahn, meaning a swift connection to Centralen for trains to the airport, or to explore the city. The hotel itself is modern and fresh, we had a twin bed room and felt the room was a little on the small side, however pleasant enough. We were on a low floor facing the road and had very little road noise! Breakfast is included, times seem to vary day by day which was another small hitch we came across, however the breakfast host was lovely and kept everyone informed. Plenty of food for vegetarians, lots of vegan too. Rooms were warm, some temperature control possible.

Located close to tunnelbanna station, walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and stores. Hotel is pretty with a love of nice and modern arts. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable and they have bathtub :) Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Love their omelet and fresh juices. Unfortunately we did not have the time to enjoy the pool, otherwise it's gonna be superb to swim with city view as the background.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Clarion Hotel Stockholm, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience for me and my family. The service is truly exceptional. The staff members especially Nikola, were friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist with a smile. They made us feel welcome and valued as guests, and their willingness to accommodate our late check-in and bringing us food to our room since everything was closed and we were hungry, was greatly appreciated. It's evident that the hotel places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The facilities at are top-notch. The entire property is immaculately clean and exudes a modern and stylish ambiance. The attention to detail in the decor and design is impressive, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a high-end hotel. And let's not forget the stunning views! In addition to the excellent service and modern facilities, Clarion Hotel Stockholm is conveniently located, allowing easy access to the city's attractions and transportation. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you'll find the hotel's location to be ideal. The beds are super comfortable and the water pressure is amazing. They manage a large clientele very effectively and still dedicate time to give you and individual experience... and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. So worth it. 5 stars and will be back!

Excellent hotel in my opinion stayed there last week, great location, great value as well, exceeded my expectations to be honest. Rooms were first class as was everything else. The lady in charge of seating the guests for breakfast, was always cheerful and of good spirits, top class customer service and I rarely encounter such great service and deserves a special mention. Thank you /Tack to her and all staff..

My visit to the hotel is meeting purposes and not for sleepovers that's why I can't give an average rate. But for the common spaces, I love how clean everything is. There is sitting places on the second floor that I usually sit for myself and chill.

Lovely place for a drink in the lobby bar even if you don't stay in the hotel. However I was disturbed by an asian staff in the restaurant who takes the liberty to judge which ones (of the quests) will be served (alcohol)or not. None of our group was noisy, drunk or disturbing. I was trying to explain it to her but without results. The staff should be neutral, service-minded and friendly. Not judging people by their looks or ethnic origin.

The hotel is ok. I am reviewibg the Economy room. The room itself was way below a 4 stars. Extremely small and quite dated. The hotel itself, has a nice restaurant/bar inside and serves great breakfast. Staff was friendly and the location is convenient to catch a subway. Overall if I had to come back to Stockholm I would try another hotel.

Ok room, nice hotel, but avoid rooms xx60 - xx82, as these can face over a major motorway junction that is busy all day and night, with enough noise to wake you when a large lorry passes. (Even on 6th floor)..see view from room and room picture. Otherwise very clean, nice hotel.

Booked a junior suite for 4 male friends thinking it would perfectly for us friends, got shocked when we saw the room. Sofabed that had the worst matress ever, and could barely fit one male adult - and this was intented for two people. The suite was small because of one thing, and that was because of big bathroom that took up over half the space. This bathroom had a bathub and and shower facing the street through a panorama window. The problem here is that there was no way to cover the window, so your mates could watch you take a shower or a bath - and so could the people living across the street. Last but not least was the air condition, this was clearly not working and we had no way to get fresh air because of the windows that you can not open, so enjoy sleeping in bad air and 25 degrees heat. Will not return to this hotel and I advice you to NOT order a junior suite if you have the option to avoid it.

Really awful beds! Not recommend. The place is clean it’s ok looking rooms. But omg the beds sinks in the middle makes for a very uncomfortable sleep…. Which is the main thing you are doing in a hotel!

The place is great, location super strategic, in a nice neighborhood full of restaurants and shops for any needs and close to several public transportation spots. The staff is nice, kind and happy to help at any time of the day. Breakfast was rich and good quality. The room was not great, the bathroom furniture a little old and almost broken. The overall experience was good, if I'll be back in Stockholm I can definitely consider to be there again.

The Clarion is a beautiful facility. The rooms are large and modern. Everything was spotless and in good condition. The elevators ran consistently. Breakfast was huge and beautifully presented. The location was also very good, near mass transit and in a good area to walk around. But even more important than the facility and food was the manner in which the staff interacted with me. I had a problem when I left the hotel and they were amazing in assuring that I was able to get an item I had left at the hotel. I had to call several times since the package was not picked up and each time the front end staff was kind and patient. They responded to my concerns and put me at ease. They made a bad situation so much better.

There’s a lot to like about this place but some misses, too. It’s quite big, near loads of testy and shopping, just steps to the metro and has a busy, fun vibe. But check in is a disaster. Dozens and dozens of people waiting in long lines. Come on, Clarion, it’s 2022, get some laptops or hand held devices and cut this line! There were self check kiosks that never worked in the 4 days I was there. The bar/restaurant staff are surly, except for the breakfast staff. Breakfast is vast. The furniture is tired and stained inthe common areas and in my room. The luggage storage is on the honor system, anyone could take any bag. Still, I liked it overall and it is good value for money.

5 stars here but you deserve 6 stars, but there’s no button for that. One person who did a excellent job were Mimmi, never met such a competent worker, she definitely made our trip fantastic. I hope she get a raise. Nice rooms and great breakfast definitely recommend it to anyone.

Stayed with girlfriend, hotel it self is quite big, there is never more than 2 staff at the desk so queues for ages. room service i think was quite dodgy, had a missing chunk of my chocolate bar when I returned. things thrown away like bottles when i needed them. room was a decent size. breakfast buffet food was okay best thing was there custom omlette but other than that it was average. very busy during breakfast. what got me the most was how expensive the spa was so I did not get to try it out as I could not justify spending £38 for 2 hours in just the pool. Location is definitely a strong side for this hotel and there is a small mall ish type area across the street with a good food court and super market.

We had some very nice days here. The hotel is very easy to reach by Tram. 1 min walk from Skanstul Station. The lobby, rooms, Bar and Restaurants are very modern. Everything is very clean and in very good condition. The hotel is very big but they have four elevators which reduces the waiting time. However as we only use the stairways, thats no Problem for us at all. However, for both, you need the keycard to access which is a good security measure! The staff at the lobby/reception is very friendly and the provide a good Service. Special greetings/thanks go to the lovely Lady (i think her Name was Mimi) at the breakfast counter! You do a amazing job with full passion!🥰 The breakfast was AMAZINGLY GOOD! A very big variety of international and national foods and verything was very tasty. Never had such good bacon (well done crispy but not dripping greasy) at breakfast Buffet. Only the rolls were very soft and not what a German expects to have!😅 The only minus-point is for the room and bed, as they are very small. Next time we travel to stockholm i'd choose Clarion Hotel again!👏👍

A centrally located hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms and wide-assortment for breakfast. The location is near some restaurants and shops with immediate access to the metro (T). The staff is very welcoming with a smile and sunshine - super friendly morning by the breakfast entrance. The food includes eggs, bakery, warm dishes and cold cuts in addition to cereals and fruit station. Highly recommend it for a comfortable business trip.

Amazing hotel, staff are so lovely, room was great and kitted out with rituals shampoo/cond, body wash etc. we paid extra to visit the spa which was also so nice, outdoor pool was hot and a nice experience. Great location next to the metro. Breakfast has to be one of the best I’ve seen - they had everything from pancakes to omelettes to yoghurt etc. Would 100% stay again.

Disappointed!! Extremely bad experience : NO PARKING AVAILABLE. Nearest car park is through 3 different buildings and complexes away, where door access is granted only if an operator is sitting at the other end. If no one’s there then you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. It has the looks of a very posh hotel but the amnesties are not good. To name a few..Bathroom sliding door broken doesn’t stay shut! Double room is a pigeon hole. Breakfast selection and taste very poor. Apart from the live omelette station (that was the only good part). There has to be better places than here! Not going back again!

The hotel was better than I expected, amazing location, metro is in front of the hotel! Connection to city center is phenomenal, but it's also not far to walk to the center! Very friendly staff, especially Mimmi from the front desk, she made our stay better with her behavior and friendliness. Value for your money, plus don't skip breakfast, amazing and wide range for all your needs.

Great location, you almost stumble into the lobby when you get of the subway. Staff is friendly, breakfast is plenty and the price is reasonable. The only complaint I have is the terrible A/C. You can’t turn it off because the windows don’t open. However, the temperature control does nothing and it’s always too cold in the room. Plus there’s a constant draft on the bed because of the air vents. Makes it hard to sleep for people that are sensitive to such drafts.

Very friendly staff, Hotel is very central and next to a subway station, clean rooms, breakfeast buffet has a lot to offer (even for vegans!). All in all a really great hotel for a low price. Would stay here anytime again!

The rooms are tiny. The mattress and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. They are way too soft to support! Spent 2 nights in the hotel and came back with the worst shoulder pain. Not recommend. The only good thing was the location; central close to where we needed to be. Breakfast was average.

  • 5/5 Ronald K. 9 months ago on Google
Nice and clean hotel. The rooms are very clean and I liked the bed. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Breakfast was extensive and offered a lot of different things. The business lunch was delicious and of great quality. The Fingerfood during the breaks was varied and also very tasty. The conference rooms are modern and the conference service was always helpful. The hotel is situated in between a lot of restaurants and bars, so you will have no issue in finding some food or a good drink if you do not want to stay in the hotel. I hope next time we stay in the same hotel.

The hotel is excellent. The rooms are good, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is superb, tasty and has a wide variety of food and drinks. Its location is also excellent, the metro stop is about 50 m from the entrance. The area around the hotel is full of shops, bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend it for a stay in Stockholm.
