Great stay, close to StrandvĂ€gen, Stureplan and Kungsgatan. Very friendly faces at the restaurant during dinner especially, somewhat stressed at the reception. Regular rooms, sauna ok, fitness room was looking good. I can recommend due to the fact that’s close to the very heart of stockholm and close to saluhallen and so forth

This hotel was very cosy and I loved the unique aesthetic surrounded by old books. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. We stayed in a queen superior "cherry" room which felt like a good size for two people, and it included an iron, kettle, and safe. If you book direct you get a much better rate than comparison sites. The food in the restaurant was very nice (albeit not cheap), and there was a wide selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast, which included. Make sure you get to breakfast in good time though, because they are very strict about taking everything away at exactly 10am (weekdays)/11am (weekends), and it can be difficult to find a table at busy times. There is also a gym and a sauna. The gym is well equipped with some premium eleiko equipment. Easy to get to location with good transport links - it is very easy to get to the areas with museums as well as the old town. These are all very walkable within ~20 mins, or a bit faster by public transport. There are also some nice things to do in the area, especially the shops and restaurants. Pro tip, there is a metro entrance/exit just one minute down the road, by the Åhlens department store. This is a lot closer than Google maps will have you believe! Finally, the staff were very kind and helpful, and were happy to provide any details or recommendations.

I had a very nice day, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I liked that the hotel felt safe and secure despite being a popular restaurant and bar for the public. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the health club was great, a lot of equipment and the sauna was lovely.

We had a great stay! We stayed 3 nights in Queen Sixth Floor, small but enough when you’re out exploring all day. Room was clean and bed really comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, really good quality! It’s also great if you have allergie: a few good GF options as well as lacto free. The staff was particularly friendly and welcoming. Hotel location is ideal: central and walkable distance (wether you want to go to Gamla Stan or Skansen: you can walk!) We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for our next trip in Stockholm.

Loved this place. Room was spotless and quirky. Staff could not be more helpful. A bit of a walk to the main attractions but brilliant bus service nearby. Breakfast was high quality and plentiful. Would definitely return.

Friendly staff. Nice small room with the amazing idea: a map of Stockholm in the ceeling showing how long from the hotel the different sights are - loved it! The room and bathroom was fine. Breakfast buffet nice with lots of choices. Lots of books in the lobby and in the rooms.

This was one of the loveliest hotels stays I’ve had as a solo traveler. I found the staff to be very kind, helpful, pleasant to interact with and patient. The lobby was gorgeous, filled with books and many places to sit, work, relax or enjoy the beautiful live music. The breakfast was huge with many delicious options to choose from. I also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The cocktails were very tasty. All of my meals were delicious but the steak was absolutely incredible as well as the warm blue berries for dessert (and the spicy margarita). My room was very warm and cozy. It had everything that I needed for a successful solo trip to Stockholm. It was a lovely stay and I would happily stay here again. Thank you for having me!

Wonderful place! My room was very comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom light was too dim though so I couldn't use the mirror there (would prefer stronger lights). The breakfast was fantastic, absolutely five stars. I had dinner in the restaurant one night and that was super tasty too, very friendly staff who recommended wine. I really appreciated that. I used the gym a few times, it was also great. I would have more mirrors there because there was only one mirror and I think it's important to see what you are doing. I also wanted to use the spinning bike, but it only had pedals for SPD and no straps so I couldn't use it. The sauna was wonderful.

Hotel was perfect. Rooms were great, slightly basic but all we needed. Gym and sauna were amazing after a cold day. In short walking distance from the museum island, and also from the old town. close to a good shopping district. surrounded by resturants and great food, as well as great food in the hotel itself. the breakfasts were AMAZING!

Perfect! 5/5! We had such a lovely stay at the Monrnington! The room was clean and really nice, it is a quiet place. A bonus point for the breakfast, that was amazing! The location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy a nice weekend in Stockholm. Would recommend and come back :) Thank you

Good hotel that offers great value for money. The rooms are small but very stylish and cozy. A subway station is only a short walk away and so is the Östermalms Saluhall. The breakfast is excellent and the gym is very big. All in all very recommendable. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.

The only thing about this hotel to give it a top rating was the size of the rooms. It's felt a bit like a cruise cabin. Nonetheless, I would stay there again based on the location and service from everyone on staff. Also, one of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had which is a huge added bonus. Lastly, very walkable and if not less than 5 minute walk from the metro which gets you everywhere.

Small nicely designed room with tiny storage. Quiet during the night. Great rich breakfast. Very lovely staff.

Old establishment. Which means you get wash basin that is good (unlike modern low depth basins in new hotels), TV and electrical fittings are not good. Breakfast is bland like elsewhere in Northern Europe.

Small but well appointed room and that is the only slight negative. Great location, superb live entertainment and the best buffet breakfast EVER!

We stayed for 2 nights, I think the hotel is a great value for money. Breakfast was delicious, rooms are small but cozy, staff is super nice, location is top! The books and the live jazz sessions in the lobby add up to the charm. Special thanks to Maria for making our dinner so enjoyable! If you consider booking this hotel, do it directly on their website as you'll get the best deal and some benefits.

The perfect location, the room was modern and fabulous, amazing designs all around especially the lobby area, great breakfast with a selection of choices and I am celiac and lactose free and found gluten free and lactose free options đŸ€©, one of the best stays 😀

5 months old baby-friendly rooms, rich breakfast selection, stylish and comfy lobby, super friendly staff - and fantastic central location! Perfect for a weekend stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The decor, particularly in the lobby and restaurant area, is amazing. The room was not very big but it was comfortable. The breakfast was better than average with lots of variety. Central location, easy to walk or get an electric scooter anywhere. Overal would recommend!

Room: I was given a room, where the mattress was very old and uncomfortable. It was slightly better in the new room. Friendliness: When I asked for a bottle opener, the receptionist said she cannot hand it out because they only have one. She clarified that she suspects customers to steal them. Finally, the food: not good and very expensive. For this high per-night price, I would strongly recommend a different hotel

I loved my stay at Mornington. My visit to Stockholm was a special one, and it was made even more memorable by my choice of accommodations. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. Mornington has a lovely lobby that looks very European chic, with a little library area off to one side and the dining area on the other side. Since it was a solo trip, I booked a room with a twin bed and it was a nice and cozy little room with laminate wooden floors and simple yet refined furnishings. The bathroom was very contemporary and clean, with a "towel warmer" for your towels that I've never seen in any lodging I've been in before. For the night owls, Mornington has a very secure night entrance that requires access with your keycard (which also accesses the elevators to the rooms as well) so that not just anybody can come wandering in off of the street. Breakfast was a lovely buffet-style spread and had everything to nourish you for your day out and about, from eggs and bacon to yogurt and pastries. The hotel had some reasonable rates as well as within a fair walking distance to places like Vasa Museet and the waterfront. All in all, I had a spectacular time staying here. I would love to stay here again one day. Layla and Urban were especially very helpful in assisting me with my various needs throughout my short stay in Stockholm. I want to say a very special thanks to them as well for their help. I loved Mornington.

Things are usually user-friendly in Sweden, but in this hotel everything is just the opposite: First they don’t even have slippers, the one thing that every hotel is supposed to have. Plus the floor doesn’t seem very clean so I don’t feel like walking barefoot, I have to walk around constantly with my heavy shoes like in the photo below and my ankles are about to break. The room is cold, only about 22 degrees and I can’t increase the heat. The water pressure in the shower is very low and the water is not warm enough. Everytime when I take a shower I’m freezing. Also the shower is not closed at the bottom so when you take a shower you get water splashed everywhere in the bathroom. There’s a heated towel rail in that tiny bathroom so you can burn yourself all the time if you don’t pay attention. In short everything is just perfectly inconvenient here. If it was a motel I wouldn’t leave a negative comment. But marked as 4-star hotel, it’s just not what I expected at all.

Staying in hotel with 2 rooms 4 days; last day thrown out of the restaurant after ordering food as my daughter had 4cm left of her hotdog that she had bought outside the hotel. Abysmal service...

Good hotel with very good location, friendly and helpful staff andreasonable breakfast. The interior of the rooms is acceptable, but moderate modernization measures wouldn't harm. Recommendation, dunno, the hotel is definitely ok, but there are "higher comfort for a comparable price" alternatives in the area which might suit better.

Location, breakfast, and the lobby were all great. I think they should pay more attention to cleaning. Towels in the room was very dirty. The room was, in general, a bit dirty. Also, the receptionist was asking us if we are allowed to stay in Sweden(we gave him our Swedish IDs), he wanted to see our passports and residence permits. I have never seen a hotel asking these documents rather than ID. It was unpleasant to be treated like this. Maybe it is just our bad luck because the hotel in general has a great ambience.

Perfectly alright. The breakfast is a bit above the typical Scandic breakfast in terms of quality (the fresh orange juice is very nice!). Some of the staff very friendly.

We had a great stay at the Mornington Hotel! Their lobby is very cozy and the hotelroom was quiet with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was awesome ( I think they bake the bread in their own bakery). The lady at the reception truly is a darling! Thank you for the great service, we will definetly recommend the Hotel to friends, who will travel to Sthlm soon.

I stayed there in mid-March for business meetings for a week. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and a good mix of items suitable for every dietary requirements. The room was cozy but bare bones. I didn't beek the room so im not sure what else was available. I was surprised that there was no kettle/coffee maker or microwave like most hotels I've been to during my travels, but this was my first time in Sweden so I didn't know if this was the norm. As a person from the tropics, the room was quite chilly in the room, especially at nights even though I had the thermostat at the highest temperature. So that was difficult for me. I'm not sure if it was broken or not and I did not ask staff for assistance since I was very busy. If I return, which is highly possible, I will definitely ask the staff for help.

Great hotel for location, breakfast and service. Staff were all friendly even when pushed with a large number of arriving guests. Our room was smaller that we’d have expected and felt a squeeze for 2. Bathroom was small so layout compromised but the floor being completed wet after a quick shower was a pain. Overall the positives outweigh any small gripes.

Good location and friendly staff, but just OK for the price. Thin, uncomfortable bed mattress, and you could hear every sound of the people in the room above yours walking around or moving their luggage.

Great location and great breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and the sound insulation between the rooms was good. Room was small but very functional. Highly recommend hotel.

My one week stay was excellent! Staff were super helpful and kind, decor was great, beds and bedding were very comfortable (comparable to many luxury hotels I've stayed in), breakfast buffet was the best spread we've seen in our entire lives, restaurant was great, super accomodation for dietary restrictions, bathroom was spacious, tv was smart, and the lobby and common spaces were very lovely and great socializing bustling spaces. Housekeeping was super prompt as well. Location is excellent! Near plenty of restaurants and a great closed off street to cars. My only complaint would be that our room was street facing and was quite loud at night with the traffic and the shower was open. I will definitely be back! Thank you.

A great place to stay. Centrally located, 15 minutes walk from the central train station and very close to bus stops taking you to the city center. There are a lot of places around for dinner or drinks. Also inside the hotel there is a very cosy environment to have your drink. The breakfast is excellent with a great variety of choices. The only thing that I would like is to have bigger rooms, as I find them small. Definitely a choice if I travel again to Stockholm, thanks also to the very friendly personel.

This is what you get for 2500kr a night. Feels like going to prison! Old and dusty place. Complained to the staff, “we are fully booked and can’t help you”. Not to forget the sound of the door opening and closing you will hear all night long when you get a room near the entrance which I counted were many rooms. Mind boggling that they have not done a customer experience tracker to see what their guests experience! Did not get an ounce of sleep! See video. Thanks! Not be coming back here next time in Stockholm.

The hotel location is amazing and the staff were really friendly. However, the rooms & bathrooms are quite small. This is a good hotel if on business, but if you are looking to spend a long time in the rooms, then maybe book elsewhere. The breakfast was fairly bland although they had lovely smoothies. The lunch option (I had a club sandwich) was nice although nothing special. The gym is alright although a bit uninspiring. I LOVE that this hotel is dog friendly. The lobby is cosy too although often filled with people and their laptops so sometimes difficult to find space. Overall - nice hotel, nice drinks but not luxury.

Rooms are very nice, but a bit small. The food is extraordinary and the location is simply unbeatable. Very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. The dinner options are also wonderful. The bar/reception area is great and the gym is pretty good. If you are a bibliophile, you will love this place.
