GREAT HOTEL. We were on the 9th floor, slept great, you could hear the music but it wasn't very loud. Breakfast was delicious and the view was beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, cool furnished and big enough. The location was good too. we loved it.

My experience at Hobo Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it convenient to explore Stockholm's attractions. The highlight was undoubtedly the awesome breakfast served on the top floor, offering not only a delicious start to the day but also a breathtaking view. The room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. I highly recommend Hobo Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable visit to Stockholm.

First things first: Definitely one of the best location tourist-y wise! A very "hip & trendy" hotel. The lobby bar itself is not "just a bar", it's a cool spot with great drinks. The room is somewhat small with almost no extra space to sit/chill. Fun little details are scattered everywhere as well. The breakfast was very very nice!

Great hotel. Worst night’s sleep ever. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Vibe and decor is good. A bit hipster but I liked it. Rooms are quirky, but comfortable. Bed was not firm at all. Suffered from that ‘roll off’ where it feels like the mattress is too big for the bed base. Worst was the pillows. Worst ever. Just squishy and not supportive. Punch, fold, double them
all a fail. No alternatives offered by reception. Won’t stay there again for that reason, unfortunately

VERY cool place with absolutely lovely staff. From the beginning, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Agree with the comments earlier that the ventilation was a bit of an issue, even for our small room. This made Stockholm in winter a bit warm even;) Biggest compliments for the breakfast. By far the best hotel breakfast I have ever experienced. Will certainly be back next time in Stockholm!

Had a brilliant time at this quirky hotel. Excellent service, great bar and delicious food. Really loved the free laundry room - great for our trip as we could wash, dry and iron our clothes. Located very centrally making it easy to get to lots of different places. Breakfast was also absolutely incredible each morning. I'd actually quite like to live here if I could!

Lovely hotel, great location and attentive staff. Great for young adults and tourists. Room was slightly warm due to us having a small room. Air con not powerful enough if you prefer to sleep in the cool like us. Thank you to the Staff. We had a great stay!

We stayed for 2 nights and the first night the music from the bar was very loud. We were even placed in a quiet room and even with headphones on it was aduible. The second night there was nothing, which was great. Everything else is very good, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is really good, the service is great, but the noise the first night unfortunately wrecked half of the experience. I think this is something to be aware of if you stay over the weekends.

I didn’t have much for expectations regarding this place. So, once I got there, I was blown away by all the options of things to do within the hotel! They have a bar, restaurant, and even a great spot on top of the building (only open during certain months). Plus, the breakfast is a Japanese Scandinavian combo that makes your mouth water! The room we had was great and had a lovely view looking at the architecture of some of the buildings. I highly recommend this place when you’re in stockholm!

Absolutely lovely Hotel that is central to everything you might want to do in Stockholm. The staff is incredibly helpful (the Portuguese night manager was excellent, I wish I remembered his name, but he helped with booking ferries and fixing my iPhone and a few other things). And the very best thing was the morning breakfasts at Tak which can be included in your stay. Don’t miss it—it’s the best breakfast I’ve had in Europe by far. I wish I could just move in here.

This is new age and funky type hotel, located at a great location. Travel sustainable and good party vibe at down stairs. Downside is less or not a brighter lighting in the room and elevators wait time is mostly high to go to the floor.

This was a super central, semi-hipster hotel. We liked the stay though i only gave 4 stars for rooms since they're a bit small and sort of awkwardly set up. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic - don't skip it! We'd definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Nearly cancelled staying here on a return to Stockholm after a poor experience with the sister hotel next door. This place exceeded my expectations. Check-in staff were super friendly and the room, on the 8th floor, was very comfortable and quiet, even facing out to the main street. Breakfast was served in TAK, which was very well catered, coffee wasn't great though. I would stay here again.

Very nice looking interior and an allright hotel experience. Everything was as it should be for a hotel room downtown in this price range. But I did miss a few things. There's no option to make tea or coffee in the room, theres no minibar, the shower head was broken and I could hear people in the hallway pretty well when they opened and shut their door. The hotel does have a gym but it was quite small and the trip down there was confusing. It says it's on the 1st floor but it's basically on -3? As the reception is on the 4th floor. I think that could have been made more clear but there's probably a reason why. I did raise these issues with the hotel and they seemed to take them seriously.

Excellent breakfast, rooms for this price are fine. The location of the hotel could not be better!! The rooms are quite small and there is little storage space.

  • 5/5 Le S. 6 months ago on Google
I've been here a few times and I've always have had a great experience. The rooms are not that big, but very comfortable. The service is great, and breakfast is served by TAK, a Japanese Scandinavian restaurant, in the top floor.

Very well located hotel near the T-Centralen station and Gamla Stan, sibling of the At Six Hotel, but for a different target of customers. Reception is small and not very nice, they are quite impatient. Also, you don't have telephone in the room to call, only a QR code to order food, so you cannot ask for other things without going down there. Luggage storage is for free with lockers and they also have gym. Rooms are super small, without wardrobe, only with some hungers and ideas to organize with this reduced space. In winter or with big luggage you definitely miss more space to more around. And surprisingly they have put and big desk with a big chair whose arms don't fit under the desk, so it's all the time in the middle. It wouldn't have been an issue to fit it better. Light is basically indirect and limited. And the maintenance of the rooms is poor as you can see in the pictures, despite being pretty new. Bed clothes are bad fitted by the cleaning service and these are too small for the bed. My feet got uncovered many times during the night. You have also to request cleaning service 24h in advance. Otherwise you don't t get it. You get flip flops and acceptable soap and shampoo. Hair dryer is not very powerful. Breakfast is very complete with good views in the attic and the service there is nice and polite. It's my second trip to Stockholm. For similar price there are much better options around

Stylish hotel at the heart of the city. Rooms offer sufficient space and have a desk so you can work. TV’s with screencast ability. Good breakfast.

One of the first hotels that I've stayed in sweden. That was six years ago, And i've been back here a number of times. The staff are really friendly, Great location and a totally fantastic atmosphere In the downstairs bar. Totally buzing as you enter the hotel. Love it.

We absolutely loved our stay here and the service is fantastic!! The only thing that brought our rating down would be an electrical issue we had in our room and that we had no window, which I wouldn't mind however the aircon didn't work and we could end up sleeping for hours not seeing daylight.

Amazing staff Perfect location Room (king-size) was spacious, there's no cupboard or drawers but I personally leave my stuff inside my suitcase anyway Bed was big enough for parents and 1 infant Cute slippers Handy info about the hotel/services Lovely wet room bathroom Would book through Hobo again!

Nice hotel, close to shops and restaurants. Metro stop is also around the corner. Its next to a shopping mall with a bouldering gym in it - tip for the climbers ;) Good breakfast on rooftop next door. Room was nicely decorated. The only reason we don't give 5stars is because there was some kind of sweaty smell in the room the days we stayed there. Couldn't open the window so we couldn't air the room. Probably just our room. If you have the same thing, ask for another room, because the smell will not go away.

Stayed 5 nights in the superior room. Good: -Fun and quirky hotel and room design -Delicious breakfast -Central location -Big bed Bad: -Bed is not firm and pillows are too soft. Did not have a comfortable sleep throughout. -2 guests but there is only 1 chair -Big window but its directly facing an office building just ~10m away -Barely any space for opening luggage on the floor -Toilet has slits you can see into from the outside, why? -Water leaks to the dry area of the toilet everytime after using the shower -No hot water kettle and fridge -Small TV -No iron in room, you have to go the laundry room tucked away in the basement of the hotel

  • 2/5 Lotte M. 7 months ago on Google
It's hip, but just not worth the money When I turned the shower on, the head twisted to the side, so I could either stick myself to the shower door, or squeeze next to the soap-rack to shower. And in the evenings, the music from the bar above is constantly audible. For €150+ per night, I expect a much better experience.

Excellent hotel. Staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable - windows block a lot of outside noise out. Breakfast had a great selection. Amazing views from the top of the hotel. Location is perfect. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel for a short city visit. Lowest room category ist very small, like half a meter around the bed, plus a small bathroom, that’s it. For us with a small child and stroller it was not comfortable. Over all the stay was good. The location is perfect for visiting the city. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. The bar has nice drinks, but for high prices.

Very cool & modern hotel in the middle of city centre. It was very difficult to find the entrance first. After having found the hotel, it was all worth it since it has a very cool and modern vibe. The breakfast is very good here with nice city overlooking views

  • 5/5 B V. 2 years ago on Google
Hotel very well located, extremely friendly staff (brewed coffee and water is for free ), rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are of a smaller size compared to hotel standards but they were very comfortable. I loved the bar and the decoration! I strongly recommend this place

Nice hotel in a very cool location in Stockholm. Rooms are nice, cost and with cool, functional and basic decoration. Breakfast is amazing, even if you have to pay extra for espressos and cappuccinos, which I think it’s ridiculous! đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™‚ïž

Great location but your way better off staying at The Downtown Camper directly across the way. Hobo has way more of a hostel vibe. During the 4 nights we stayed there we only got our room cleaned once. There was also someone’s leftover food sitting inside the hotel corridors for 2 days!!!! 2 days there was no staff or cleaning?? Gross. Our room looked directly onto offices, where we were so close we could see the programs on their desktop screens. You can’t open the window and there is no A/C, so we quite claustrophobic and did not sleep well.

Nice clean rooms, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and lots of amenities including free laundry, baggage storage, coffee tea and water station, an excellent bar with good food and centrally located near the subway within walking distance to many attractions. Special thanks to Ellen, Lina, Marta and Elias

  • 3/5 Jo 2 years ago on Google
Room was ok and breakfast was better than last time we stayed. However, the staff were too aggressive to clean up the plates, even when we were still eating and the bread option was not great, only little pastries there and they tasted blend.

  • 5/5 Camila T. 1 year ago on Google
Wouldn’t doubt for a second to come to this place, the location, service and amenities will amaze. It has the vibe, the decoration, the hype and the craze. not to self: getting to the breakfast spot is like a maze. Rooms are not incredibly big, but they are enough for a city break, also worth to know you need to tell the hotel if you want them your bed to make. It’s a simple and comfortable take, city center and walking distance from the rivers and lake. Breakfast is phenomenal with food variation, Loads to pick from for your own creation. From rye bread to salmon and cold cuts, Even make your own donburi or with ginger shots take care of your guts.

Hobo hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip to Europe. The rooms are on the smaller side so recommend getting the bigger room if it’s an option. The breakfast buffet is AMAZING especially the freshly made croissants. This hotel is a great budget friendly option in Stockholm and close to all the major attractions.

  • 4/5 Robert I. 1 year ago on Google
A really nice hotel with a great vibe and a slightly different breakfast buffet. Overall one of the nicer hotels of the ones I've tried in the Nordic chain. The rooms are small, but cleverly designed. Not a lot of storage space, but hooks and hangers everywhere. The bathroom also isn't very roomy, but works very well. I especially like that the shower handles clearly show how you get the temperature and shower head you want. The breakfast is excellent. One of few hotels that dares to be different. You have the normal, continental breakfast, but also Asian inspired dishes. Fun! Also, the breakfast is on the top floor, which you also don't see too often. The restaurant/bar by the entrance isn't great though. Noisy and a bit cramped. But they are quick and the menu is interesting. Overall I think this is a really great place to stay. Especially if you want to stay close to the city center.

Loved every minute of being there. It's a very trendy hotel with a great vibe in a stunning part of Stockholm. Amazing breakfast buffet with a stunning view of the city and the staff are very friendly. All round great experience.

Such a great hotel I will definitely come back. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, amazing location and hotel restaurants offer excellent food and great breakfast from 7-11. The rooftop terraces are huge and full of people (yes there’s more than one depending on the vibe you want). Like everywhere in Sweden drinks and food are expensive but this hotel is no more expensive than somewhere outside. The only downside was the bedding the sheets and comforters were twin size even though the bed was a queen so in moving at night I found myself outside of the covers and the room wasn’t as clean as I have come to expect in the post COVID world. Wasn’t filthy but the floors weren’t cleaned and there were splatters on the wall. I would have given this place 5-stars otherwise it really is a great place.

Super nice hotel with a lot of funny details. Sad that I didn’t take pictures of the lobby with all the plants, which looks fantastic. We needed to get up super early to catch our flight back and got some breakfast packages which were delicious 😋 thanks a million for this great service and hosting us

Hipsters will love this place. For me it's more 3 star with a 'trendy' / superficial make over. I would not want my parents to stay here. Location was convenient - short walk to train and station, shopping and attractions. Breakfast was ok but the advertised Japanese breakfast was not Japanese quality (rice cold)

Spend three nights in Hobo Stockholm. Everything was great about HOBO - the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room was perfect, with a nice shower, and the breakfast was sensational. The best we've ever had. Location is fab, there’s a basic gym and free laundry too. Nice bar and good food at restaurant Tak. Thank you all! We will certainly come back.

  • 4/5 Georgia M. 1 year ago on Google
Helpful, attentive and cheery staff at all hours of the day and night. Only downside was not being able to adjust the air con enough, but that was personal preference, and reception were kind enough to have a secondary fan/heater delivered to the room free of charge! Could also not fault the breakfasts!

  • 5/5 Maya H. 1 year ago on Google
Whole experience was fantastic. We were a large group that was staying at the hotel and the staff (especially Mimmi) was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Great location, fantastic rooms, brilliant breakfast and amazing vibes.

  • 5/5 Kevin G. 2 years ago on Google
We stayed at the hotel 4 nights. It has a central location, everything is within a walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are free coffee and water amenities throughout the day. The cosy hotel bar is nice to relax in after a whole day of walking. They offer a range of snacks, and at night there is music playing which contributes to the holiday vibe. The rooms are very urban and modern. Room cleaning is by choice (sustainability). The breakfast is on the top floor of the adjacent restaurant, not a very extensive buffet, but they offer everything you need. The view when having breakfast is priceless. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the Hobo hotel and this will definitely be our choice of hotel again if we would visit Stockholm again.

Loved my time here. They upgraded my room for free. It has everything you need. Breakfast is delicious and varied. Staff is very friendly. Loved Miele laundry machine!

  • 3/5 M I. 1 year ago on Google
TV does not work, bedside lamp does not work, no phone in the room to call reception, no bedside switch to turn lights off (you need to get up and walk to the door). Room service is limited (no salad, no soup, no fruit) - food was nice though. The staff is very nice which is why I give 3 stars. Overall I would not recommend and I would not stay here again, it tries to be cool but it is inconvenient and therefore overpriced, they should consider basic needs before paying attention to silly gestures like the water guns
