Amazing hotel with cute and well-designed rooms. The host are wonderful people and serve amazing breakfast! Location is also perfect. Close to the metro and not that far from the centre if you like 20-30 min walks.

Nice and cozy, perfect hotel to stay at if you don't care too much about luxury. There is a fair amount of traffic outside, so keep that in mind if it bothers you. The rooms further in are more quiet, so you have that option as well. The staff were kind and helpful, well-mannered and professional. The breakfast was also quite nice, despite no bacon. ;)

I had a lovely time at the Hotel Hornsgatan. Sweet and cozy rooms, and very clean bathrooms. I loved that there were so many snacks available all day! The only issue was that it was a bit confusing to figure out how to get in the building the first time - I had walked from the T with my suitcase in the rain, and then it took a few tries for someone to answer the intercom (the hotel is on the second floor with a locked outside door. There is an elevator but it is VERY small.)

I enjoyed the old style, small hotel atmosphere, beautiful room, old wood floors etc. 24 hour snacks and drinks, great location to visit the city, helpful staff. Generous breakfast, too. And the very comfortable bed ! Clean and bright, what's not to like.

Super friendly and professional staff and the breakfast was very nice as well. Good location - literally everything is within walking distance (don't miss the scenic route nearby, Monteliusvägen). We had one of the bigger rooms with a private bathroom, which made it easier with the kids. Well worth the money!

Unassuming and unpretentious, this place is fantastic. The incredibly generous customer service and welcome went far above and beyond what we hoped for. Room is spacious, quiet, clean, funky and playful. Decor is is charming with loads of character. No fuss but attention to all the right details. The neighbourhood is so happening. An absolute gem of a little hotel.

An absolutely perfect stay! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely caring for their guests. They give you access to free cold drinks, tea, coffee and refreshments during the day. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. The place to be when in Stockholm!

A nice place to stay with friendly and welcoming staff. They even had some vegan and gluten free options for breakfast, though I would always recommend confirming any dietary options in advance.

Christian and Clara are fantastic hosts who run a wonderful little boutique hotel/B&B in the heart of Stockholm. The continental breakfast options are outstanding! And, like us, Clara and Christian are sailors and enjoy talking about the Stockholm archipelago.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for solo travelers or groups. Very friendly staff at the reception and great breakfast buffet. Would love to come back!

Breakfast was really diverse and tasteful. Room was nice and clean, but wasn’t possible to control the AC so it was little cold for us. Amazing staff! They gave clear instructions about everything. Location is excellent!

Great for solo travelers! The hotel is located two blocks from the nearest underground subway station, very safe area, free breakfast, and the friendly and most helpful staff! Shared bathrooms could have been better as some people did not flush the toilet after use (this was a frequent problem actually), but that’s the fault of the fellow guests, who were raised by wolves, versus a hotel issue. Also located near plenty of great viewpoints in the area and a 20 min walk to the old town.

Cozy rooms in a cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Everything was very clean and tidy, including the shared bathrooms in the hall. Service was excellent - the staff seemed genuinely excited to help me find some fun things to do in Stockholm. Excellent breakfast included with the stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel staff here were very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was decent. It was a nice dining area and a great change of pace from the bustling city. The room we had was amazing. There was a really cool light fixture and a great view. The only criticism I have is that there were not any washclothes in the room and we had a hard time figuring out how to get in the first time.

This hotel was exactly what we needed for one night stay in Stockholm. Right across the street from a quaint park, and just hop skip and a jump away from Gamla Stan and the rest of the city. It was quaint, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but still had plenty of options. I would definitely stay here again. :)

This was my favorite hotel from my month long trip to northern europe. The family room was large, lots of light from the windows with two comfortable double (queen?) beds. The location is excellent, a short walk from Gamla stan. Loved the shower, the employees were helpful and the included breakfast was tasty. They even had 24 desert in the breakfast area, all for a reasonable price.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Lots of things are close by. Some free wine in the evenings was much appreciated to very wery travelers.

The reception is really nice, the bed is comfortable, everything is perfectly clean, the breakfast is generous and the rooms are quiet. I did feel at home for a night, thank you! You can leave your luggage in the lobby during the day after you leave, and if you arrive too late for the receptionnist to check you in (after 10 p.m.) they will leave an enveloppe with your key on the desk and send you a message, if you have reserved on the Internet. I strongly recommend it if you travel alone !

Stayed here Friday - Sunday. Very clean and super friendly staff. Shared a toilet / bathroom with other guests which was fine, super clean toilet and shower. Location is great but could be noisy, I guess, but that's - as per usual - what you get for staying in a great location. Very cute room. Nice varied breakfast too.

Despite getting sick and receiving some tragic personal news, the staff's kindness improved my stay. I will never forget it and will always recommend y'all to others.

Clean, comfortable space with friendly staff. The shared bathroom was a good experience. However I could hear music/feel the bass from nearby nightlife quite loudly.

Lovely hotel, and great staff and large room! Breakfasts were nice as well (mostly bread and toppings like jam, cheese, tomatoes, and cucumber). 4 stars only b/c it was a bit hard to find (need a better sign out front) and the kitchen near the check-in smelled quite bad when we arrived (would suggest lighting a candle or something). W/c sinks were small. Our flight also got in late and there was no food to be found in the area after 10pm, which is not surprising.. But we'd have expected for a Thursday that restaurants, or at least pizza and falafel, would be open just a bit later.

Lovely little hotel, friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, room with 4 beds and bathroom met our family needs. Good location close to shops, metro, easy walk to ferry and Gamla Stan.

The hotel is good and the location is also good but the most important thing which I have rarely seen is such a wonderful staff. All the staff members are super nice, friendly and accommodating. They really make you feel at home which I have not experienced even in expensive restaurants. The hotel is highly recommended for all types of Travellers.

I was arriving in the middle of the night, was provided with clear instructions to enter the very secure building. There was an envelope waiting for me at the small reception to welcome me which was helpful and informative. My room was comfortable and spacious. Plenty of breakfast choice in the buffet although the breakfast room was quite small for the amount of guests. Sometimes you might find yourself in a queue for the handful of shower rooms available. Lovely and friendly hostess who spoke fantastic English. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Montelius wagen. is near the hotel. I have enjoyed the amazing sunrise scenery in early morning from that path.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel in early October and highly recommend it to others. After following the instructions posted next to the intercom at the right of the street entrance, Clara came down to let me in. I arrived before 3 pm but she let me into my room early as it was ready. She asked about my plans in the city and made excellent recommendations on how to get around the city and a few different areas to visit while annotating a map for me, then she showed me to my room. It was a nice open room with big windows overlooking Hornsgatan with a private bathroom. I did not find street noise to be a problem, which may be due to being here in October. The large windows had blinds and large curtains, which did a good job of blocking the outside light. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice with a good size walk in shower (compared to many European showers I’ve been in), towel warmer, shelf, hooks, and a place to hang my toiletry bag. The breakfast has a nice variety of foods typical for Sweden (yogurt, grains, breads, meat and cheeses, vegetables, buns, etc.) and they were kind enough to pack me a to-go breakfast bag as I had to checkout before their typical breakfast time which I picked up in the breakfast room fridge on my way out. Let them know the night before and they’ll set this up for you. They also have coffee, tea, buns, cakes, water, juices, etc. available at all times in the breakfast room. The location is good—the nearest subway stop is about 1.5 blocks away, less than a 5 min. walk. Gamla Stan is about a 15 min. walk away. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. I enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend Hotel Hornsgatan to others.
