Charming Hotel with nice subway connection to all of Stockholm. Breakfast is great! The rooms aren’t too big, but the price performance ratio is really nice! Can really recommend!

The hotel by itself was really nice. The staff was sooo kind, it was good to be greeted in such a friendly way. Breakfast was great and the hotel is really beautiful, kinda looks like a small castle. There is a tram just two minutes away. What we didnt like was, that the room was absolutely small. Especially the bathroom. If you shower for a few minutes, the whole bathroom will be wet. I recommend booking a large room!

Overall the hotel is nice and is situated in a good location. Access to the metro is only 200m away. It's a quiet hotel with small rooms but enough for a short trip. The rooms are cleaned every day and you receive new towels every day if you put them on the floor. A small negative point is that the toilet is next to the shower without any seperation, so if you take a shower the toilet gets wet. Breakfast is great and you have a lot of choice. It can be busy if you have breakfast after 9 but normally you get a table. Staff was very friendly and you can have coffee and tea for free during any time of the day.

Nice little hotel and excellent service. But breakfast is really bad because the plates, spoons and glasses were dirty and the breakfast room is an underground and really dark cellar with no window. Also the food did not seem very fresh and the croissants were definitely nit fresh at all! My recommendation would also be to install better lighting in the room so the people from service would see the dirty better. But the room is ok (also not superclean) and the service at the front desk was really helpful and nice.

Very friendly staff, rooms are cleaned everyday. Easy to get around due to location and lots of things situated nearby. The hotel/room gave off weird vibes due to the old fashion of the decor and furniture. Bed was extremely noisy, although the bathroom was quite modern just not a lot of room in there. Breakfast was okay, same choices everyday would’ve been nice to see some variation of food and not a lot of room down in the breakfast room itself. They have a nice coffee machine though

Great and unexpected stay at this hotel for 3 nights following our flight being cancelled. Lovely staff, nice breakfast and a great location. The room wouldn't suit everyone due to the low ceiling but it was spacious and comfortable. I'd recommend staying here.

Really loved our stay in this beautiful hotel. Well located on the southern island and close to the Zinkersdam underground station which makes it easy to get anywhere, although it is a more residential area and not in the beating heart of the action if that's what you're looking for. The rooms feel like rooms in a house rather than a hotel but in the best way possible; ours was filled with unique furniture, hardwood floors and other quirky features that give it a really cosy, homely feel. Breakfast was delicious with a traditional Swedish smorgasbord buffet of meats, cheese, bread, herring, fruit and yogurt, but there was also bacon and scrambled eggs for a more British brekkie if that's what you're after. Really recommend this hotel, staff were very friendly and was the perfect place to stay for our amazing weekend in Stockholm.

Stayed here three nights for a work trip. It was the first time I've slept in a single four-poster bed, so I got to indulge my inner princess. I did struggle to get the room to be warm enough at night and the pillows were too thick for my taste. There was a bit of noise but nothing too bad. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and was tasty. I couldn't get hot water for the shower one morning too. Despite this, I'd stay again.

Top-Lage, sehr ruhig in der Nähe einer Tunnelbana Station. Perfekt für drei bis vier Tage in Stockholm. Gutes Frühstück.

Really neat old building. Great breakfast. Good service. Clean. The rooms are small and our bed was way too soft

An unforgettable 5-days stay at Hotel Hellsten Mäster Malmgård! The staff's warm hospitality and helpful recommendations, combined with a good breakfast, strategic location, and spacious room, made it an exceptional experience. Can't wait to return!

An out of center treasure only 5 minutes away from the red line metro, this refashioned "manor like ore farm" has rooms on four floors in the main building and two in the wings all with lifts. Breakfast buffet is served in the cellar and is generous, with plenty of choice for most dietary requirements. There is a lovely glassed in sitting room/conservatory with comfortable seating and an always on coffee and tea machine of the sort that grinds the beans for your cup. Of interest and showing the history are the changes in the staircase as you climb, ground (1st) to second is marble and wide, next to third still marble but narrower and then to fourth steep and pine. Room size and height also deminish asy you rise. We were on the fourth floor with lots of good beams and rafters and a shower room with the smallest of footprints skilfully worked into the eaves. There may only be breakfast at the hotel but within 20 minutes walk there is a very wide choice of restaurants. The staff are welcomeing and very knowledgeable.

Rooms were a bit dusty and gave murder documentary vibes. Very small and outdated but modern bathroom. They had a really nice coffee machine and breakfast was okay in terms of taste, however it was not covered and on the last day lots of flies were landing on the bread and other items. Due to the old walls there were a lot of bugs around. The hairdryer in our room didn't work. The room was not what was advertised online and was especially disappointed as lady told us we were getting a "nice room"

Old small clean hotel room with great staff and service and abundant breakfast . A bit costly-Paid 183€ for 2 nights with breakfast included in January

Receptionists must have definitely undergone special training on working with customers. If you don't have a "Louis Vuitton " bag, you may not be allowed into this hotel :(

Brilliant location to get to and from on public transport. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was great, with a cold buffet style layout with meats, cheeses, fruit and yoghurt.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were romantic and lovely. Really comfortable bed and the breakfast was yummy. We had a beer downstairs which was charming. Thank you

We stayed at the Hellstens Malmard in August 2021 and had a wonderful time. The staff was professional, friendly and went out of their way to help us on many occasions (they printed travel documents, packed us a breakfast when we left early, etc.). The breakfast buffet had lots of vegetarian and vegan options including oat yogurt and oat milk, however we took care to get up early and eat in our room to avoid the crowd which convened there around 8:00. The hotel is also ideally located. There is a metro stop 3 minutes away which takes you directly to the central terminal where you can catch a fast train to/ from the airport. The island has lots of cute cafes, delicious restaurants, and second hand stores. Our only complaint was that our room was on the bottom floor and there was no elevator access for our suitcases. In addition, one room we stayed in was a little stuffy and the shower and bathroom design meant we got water everywhere. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Good fresh Swedish buffet breakfast. Coffee and tea available on a help yourself basis downstairs in the conservatory.

Charming place with very kind and helpful staff. Would be nice with more ecological breakfast options. Beds and bathroom works well but feels a bit worn down, an upgrade would be really nice.
