I recently stayed at this hotel in Sweden and found it to be good, but with some areas for improvement. The location is convenient, being close to commuting trains and the subway. The view from the 22nd floor is impressive, especially from the gym and sauna area, offering a stunning panorama over the northern parts of Stockholm. However, I found the gym to be quite limited in space, accommodating only two treadmill machines and another walking machine, which might be a constraint for those looking for a more extensive workout facility. The restaurant and breakfast buffet are commendable, offering a good range of options. Overall, my experience was positive, but with a few aspects that could enhance the stay even further.

Full of young gang guys doing party all nights, I could not sleep, during 3 nights and the reception doesn’t do anything. Nice hotel, very bad clients and management. Bad experience Here is a picture. Monday 4:00 am . A lot of car with high music and very noisy, receptionist didn’t do anything. I had to go down because my daughters couldn’t sleep. Second night, same situation, yesterday was the same. Very bad management.

Very nice hotel. It is industrial area but a good location to start tours. Very good breakfast, the restaurant is also good. The rooms are sufficient, if you spend just the nights in the hotel. Everything was clean, the personal was always friendly. I will come back.

Good overall experience. Location extremely good in relation to Kistamässan for conferences held there. Otherwise a bit off. Great service and really good breakfast! Room okay. But bathroom smelled like sewer which impacted the experience significantly, therefore 3 stars.

Hotel looks nice from the outside. Inside like every other hotel. Rooms not used for a long time so drains are dried and not keeping smell out (just pour some water after you enter the room). Service is very helpful. Nice view from the top floor. Quite nice breakfast. I can recommend this hotel.

Location location location This hotel is a nice and new landmark. The photos will show that it is a gem in an otherwise depressing industrial area (offices). Although it has a very expensive look, the entry is a bit hidden. The lobby however is nice, but very cold even when it is 35 gr C outside. There is a Skybar as well, which gives a nice view of the neighborhood, earlier-mentioned area. There are fast lifts to get to your floor and there are hallways that are very originally illuminated. There are some strong and peculiar smells in the Skybar and the lobby/restaurant. The restaurant is ok and personnel are really nice. There is no window that can be opened in this building and that gives the room a “locked-in”-feel. The rooms are nicely cooled and you can connect your tv with your phone with a Chromecast. The bathroom is functional, but there was no floor towel even though it was really necessary. The shower was a big disappointment as well as the very cheap toiletpaper (why?). The breakfast was very complete and nice, but the coffee was (again why?) cheap and bad. The better machines may not be used, unless you pay 25 Kr extra. I did not sleep well in this hotel. Other people may not have a problem with controlled air systems, but this one gave me a headache and made me short of breath. Both throat and nose did not react well to the closed atmosphere. However worst problem was the location. It is not a very nice place to stay. Our evening walk, became a scary excercise, not a lovely stroll in the evening sun. Biggest disappointment: lovely Stockholm is about a half our drive from this hotel. Spontaneous strolls to look for nice restaurants or shops was deeply missed. As a result we did not see enough of Stockholm, partly due to the 35 gr C heatwave. Taking the train was not an option. We were glad with the airco, but the difference was a bit too much. We will return to Stockholm, but will avoid this pretty landmark.

Close to commuting trains and subway. Very nice hotel and room. 22nd floor has a great view, nice to have gym and sauna in the same floor. The view from sauna over the northern parts of Stockholm is excellent. Good restaurant and a huge breakfast buffet.

I found this hotel to be good, but not great. The biggest draw to stay here is the view, which the hotel does provide without fault! The reason for the loss of 2 stars is the room cleanliness. There were a LOT of damages in the room. Various massive scratches, broken lamp that makes a very scary buzz when you try to turn it on, broken chair with uneven legs and lots of dust in the couch. Also found some old shells from nuts in the electrical compartment which is a potential danger for people with allergies to nuts. Overall, the staff is friendly and were very helpful, as well as assuring that we wouldn't be liable for any of the damages that were already here. They also brought the things we requested which didn't come with the room by default. Overall, the review would have been way better if the room was in better shape, but I would still reccomend the stay as it was priced fairly. Edit: We also booked the new years restaurant and got a confirmed booking for 9pm. When the waiter came to us we were informed that 1/3 starters, 1/3 entrees and 2/3 deserts were finished... There was no warning that our booking was late and that food may be missing. Another star removed, bringing the score to a 2/5 and I can no longer reccomend this stay as it is clear that the structure just isn't working at this hotel... Edit #2: Unfortunately I now have to lower the score even further... After asking the service yesterday if it was okay to check out later at 2pm, and got the confirmation that yes, this was fine and wouldn't even come with a fee, at 1pm a cleaning lady suddenly entered my room while I was fully naked after a shower... extremely unpleasant for the both of us!!! On top of that, my card stopped working so I also got locked out of my room... If I am told we can stay until 2pm without any problems, why are all these things still happening?!?! Over the course of these two days, my experience has gone from alright to downright bad. Almost all the problems are due to the lack of information, and the constant problems that arise due to what seems like lack of communication between reception and the rest of staff. Reception makes promises that end up not being met. Some things were genuinly good though... the workers were very polite, the food was good, but as a hotel, the core experience should be the rooms and the professionality of staying away from home... none of that was achieved here.

Nice hotel, good variety in breakfast and tasty. Windows are cool from outside but weird inside. Cables going across floor in room, not optimal. But very clean and nice room otherwise. Shower curtain system kinda bad. Not enough space to shower in my opinion. I would stay again.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times while visiting Kista. The rooms are nice and are comfortable. The breakfast is all right with a good variety of options. The staff, particularly Negin, are very kind and helpful.

Restaurant is offering lunch at x1.5 rates compared to the other restaurants in the area. Is the quality better here? No. It is Scandic being Scandic.

Other than the location of the hotel, there is nothing more to stay here even for a single day business trip.. Not even kettle in the room ! Poor internet speed, had terrible connection for my teams call !!

  • 4/5 Paul W. 10 months ago on Google
My opinion single blankets on double beds are rubbish. No kettle in the room is rubbish. I have to go down 14 floors every time I want a hot drink. You have to book in a time to get your room cleaned not great. Paying for parking not great. Place looks nice on the face of it but in reality it's not great. The staff are very good though.

Only come here If you do not want to sleep. I had to present in front of 150 employees and at this hotel I was given a dirty room some kind of vomit crust on the front of toilet. Used food wrappers in the made bed. There was NO AC and the room was around 27° all night and the fan was broken. Then for the curtains they do not work. I do not know anyone that can sleep in a lot room @ 27°. I have not slept in 3days at this point :(

Dirty rooms (damaged walls and several stains on the walls/floor, refused to clean rooms when asked to (the room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay witch was several nights), the chromecast in the room didn't work, kinda far from the Subway station and staff had no service mind what so ever, I've stayed in approximately 20 diferent scandic hotels and this is by far the worst one so far.

I stayed at victoria tower 3 or 4 times now, each time for 3 days on average. Breakfast has good variety, great choices and amazing restaurant staff. sky bar was not as spaceous as I expected it to be, but anyway the view was gorgeous, and the bar person was nice. The last stay was not as good as the previous ones for a few reasons. There were silverfish in the bathroom. The rooms I have booked (not at all the prime suites) have no mini fridges. I have to go to the reception (20+ floors down) for hot water, or tea, or coffee. On my last day, my keycard stopped working for some reason, had to go back down to reception and be told that it was my fault for keeping my keycard in my mobile phone case, in a passive agressive tone, as if I should have known that. I calmly said that, Ive always kept the keycard with my phone along with other cards, and the keycard worked for the last 2 days. I was told that keeping it with the phone for 2 days had broken the card. For me that’s a substandard system then. I was given a new card, went up 20+ floors, didnt work. Went down again, was told it should work, and that Im probably doing it wrong. She redid whatever it is she did with the card, I went back up, still did not work. A cleaning lady saw me struggling and almost crying with stress as im going to miss my train if I dont leave soon, she used her own card and let me in my room. This is probably isolated incident, but I would try another hotel in Kista instead next time.

Very friendly staff and tasty breakfast with lots of choice. The rooms could be a little cleaner. The view from the Sky Bar is - of course - something special.

This is not a female friendly hotel. E.g. the lighting in the bathroom is not sufficient and there is no makeup mirror. The rooms are quite cold. But the staff is frienly and the location is convenient.

The staff was unfriendly. Breakfast was slightly worse than in similarly priced places. Hotel view and price were also higher than I would seam "fair" skybar is overrated

Stayed at this tower in multiple rooms as stay was long . The tower is big in Kista and can be seen from far away . It has a sky bar and wonderful ambience. Staff is friendly and really enjoyed my stay .

Better than expected from the restaurant. The main plate looked awesome but was a bit over done. Mussels were not edible. Toast with chanterelles was superb.

Rooftop bar has some amazing views, which is on floor 34. Neat seating place. Limited food and drink options. Ground floor has some small food available.

Nice Hotel from outside need more happenings from the inside as it is boring. Good breakfast and the girl from Philippines in the sky bar is very friendly and has a welcoming vibe. Location not very convenient but overall it was nice stay for us

This beautiful hotel is a few short stops and a quick walk from Stockholm by way of the metro rail (Helenelund) and is only a short walk away from Kista Gallerian mall which has plenty of shops and fast food shops from over the world. The entrance is nice and has an adequate lounge/waiting area, a small kiosk with beverages/food and everyday essentials in case forgotten as well with plenty elevators to service the 30+ floors of guests. We had a large room on the 8th floor but were disappointed in having two single beds pushed together to make a double bed + the brakes on the bedwheels were broken so they always drifted apart. Due to the architecture of the building the windows in the room were quite small and unable to open for air, though the room comes equipped with a thermostat we really did not feel any difference between 18° and 22° celsius The room also did not have a fridge or anything to cool down beverages, we did however have a waterheater + coffee which was nice for the morning. The bathroom was adequate with a good hot shower with decent pressure and a soap/shampoo dispenser with a pleasent fragrance. The breakfast area was quite nice with plenty options for either hot or cold breakfast as well as smoothies, fresh fruit and glutein-free products. The seating arrangement was good with a lot of space for everyone. We had reservations for The Skybar but were underwhelmed in the sense that it was introduced as a bar but upon arrival there were children present eating food/having fun turning what could have been a nice romantic evening with an amazing view of the sunset into a quick drink and back to our rooms. (There is a nice play area for children behind the lobby) There is also a bar between the lounge and breakfast area but that was closed while we were there and with the limited available entertainment in Kista made this 2 night stay a forgettable affair but at a fair price

the hotel is fairly good... looks fresh but the truth is rather disappointing. You need to have more quality.. the rooms are far from perfect especially the bathrooms needs renovation. The shower apparel is destroyed and It is irritating as me as guest. Basic breakfast, zero surprises here.. could have been more variation. Huge plus to Anna who works at frontdesk. She is a gem and have good way to understanding certain things. Minus to small bathrooms, the rooms are also very mini so dont expect a room who have a certain size. Even for me it feels small

Bad attitude on staff at check-in Not cleaned in room, hamburger bag, covid test lay in closet, toys in sofa, was not offered new room. Unbedded sofa bed Non-functioning safe No more soap in the bathroom Incredibly uncomfortable sofa bed The breakfast had been lying around for a while and the cheese, ham etc were dry

Stayed here for the first time when it was brand new in 2011. Came again two years later and in 2022 for the third time. Next door to Kistamässan, so if you have something to do there it's the best choice anyway. The Scandic Hotel's rooms suffered significantly during the past decade and need some refurbishment but otherwise nothing has changed. Friendly staff, great restaurant and the sky bar located in floor 34 comes with a wide range of beverages and a killer view over Stockholm. I will come back for sure!

Great hotel it is very nice rooms and comfortable. Good hotel breakfast. One downside is that the food is very expensive if you want to eat at the hotel and its not worth it for that price at all. There is a skybar on the top floor which has the best view with cozy sofas really amazing stayed there for an hour.
