Have you ever dreamed of a cup of authentic Italian espresso outside of 🇮🇹? Poli Caffé’s gonna make your dream come true! It’s just a small espresso bar in Kungsholmen but you’ll be surprised with the busy vibe there! The 🥇 things that caught our eyes right after we entered into the caffé were the beautiful Italian croissants (cornetto) with several choices from plain, salty, to sweet. We had 1 plain & 1 ham & cheese 🥐 immediately & took home the vanilla, chocolate, & peach ones. All of them have an attractive texture that I haven’t seen in any croissants in Sthlm: brown upper crispy crust outside & soft consistency inside. Also, they’re in the perfect crescent shape as the common 🥐 with lighter butter aroma than the French ones. As soon as we took the first bite, the crust crackled, which sounds like when we chewed sprinkles but then, it quickly melted in our mouth & only the smell of butter remained. We prefer the plain, ham & 🧀, & vanilla versions because the chocolate one is not as good as 🇫🇷 pain-au-chocolat (at least for us), the 🍑 one didn’t have enough filling to spread out to the whole croissant. Besides cornetto, Poli also has, of course, cannoli which is an Italian traditional dessert. It’s fried dough rolled into a tube shape & filled with sweet cream mixed with ricotta. At Poli, cannoli’s dough is wrapped with crushed peanuts & glazed with a thin layer of sugar while the filling cream is either vanilla or 🍫. The vanilla-filled cannoli is highly recommended! It was awesomesauce even we felt it was quite hard to bite at first! It was full of thick 🍦 with light vanilla flavor. It was creamy, fatty, tasty, milky as well! Sometimes we doubted that it was filled with 🥜 butter instead of vanilla. What else? Well, it’d be a big mistake if we didn’t write any sentence about the coffee at this Espresso bar. To be honest, it was too good to have any comment 😄. What we could say is that it was at Italian standard, satisfying almost all criteria for a good ☕️: crema, taste, temperature, timing, & pressure! Try one single espresso yourself & you won’t regret it! If you aren’t in the mood for having pastries, Poli has classic & pistachio truffles as well as fine classic & pistachio biscuits. Each of them cost only 10 SEK & they’re a perfect match for your ☕️. They’re in original taste & sweet enough to not only reduce the coffee’s bitterness but increase the after-taste also. P/s: It’s a tiny café for a quick breakfast or a quick coffee shot, not for long-time sitting! Note: They also have small 🍕 for weekday lunch which is also authentic & tasty! Tips: The owners are Italians, so do most of the customers. Come here if you wanna practice your Italian, they’re very welcomed! 💰Pastries 15-20 SEK; Drinks 15-30 SEK; Pizza 60-70 SEK. 👍🏻 Location 9/10 - Space 7/10 – Drinks 9/10 – Price 10/10 – Service 8/10. An EXCELLENT cappuccino and equally excellent cannoli! I could say something about how small this place really is and not meant much for drinking at the spot (fits around 4-5 people, standing), but the coffee here is too great to bother with such a detail! HIGHLY recommended if you’re in Stockholm, and I do recommend having one of the tasty cannoli with the coffee!

A place to be if you want to go to a genuine Italian espresso place without having the need to make the travel all the way to Italy. Full experience from the interior, to the people working in the place, customers and especially the quality of the coffee. Super cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and an espresso as it should be. I regret that I didn’t visit here before and better late than never.

Best Italian coffee place in Stockholm. Substantially more affordable than coffee chains, too. As an Italian in Stockholm this is my go-to place for Italian breakfast (cappuccino and a croissant, sometimes freshly squeezed orange juice). It's usually quite crowded but the staff is quick, wait times are very short. There are a few stools where you can sit down and have your coffee break in peace, but of course this is not where you come to work with a laptop 😀

Authentic tiny Italian coffee bar. The cappuccino was very good. You can overhear the customers discussing about Italian football just like they would do in a similar environment back in Italy.

A charming little coffee shop that feels, in thanks to the charming Italians that run it, authentic. There are always people there drinking coffee and chatting. The coffee is always served perfectly. This is a favourite of mine

wonderful and kind service, delicious coffee for great prices. the cafe is very small, no places to sit, just to stand by the window, but it's worth coming to look at the photos and warm up with a lovely cup of coffee or tea.

My favourite little coffee place. You really feel for a moment that you are in Italy. The waiters recognise locals and make a nice chat. The coffee is great. Stop by for a cornetto; a croissant with lemon cream inside

Yes! One of the best Italian coffee places, if not the very best, in Sweden.

Authentic Italian coffee and pastry. I highly recomment this place, bring a take-away cup - it is always very crowded, nevertheless, absolutely worth the visit.

Great Italian coffee and a Margareta makes this place heaven. And use the Italian words you to fit right in. No seats.

What a fantastic little café. Very friendly and fast service. Very genuine Italian! The best cappuccino I have ever tasted. We tried the Italian croissant with lemon curd. Really delicious. The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. I won't mind coming here everyday. If you are in Stockholm you must visit this place. They have pizzas, sandwiches and other sweet delicacies too.

I thought the reviews might be overrated until I gave it a shot. It is absolutely fantastically made coffee with beautiful cornetti. I could only bring myself to grudgingly leave after I finished my third cup ... ! Best coffee I’ve had in 10 years.

Best place to have espresso in Stockholm, period. Do you like Italian coffee, cornetto, panini, are you thinking back last time you were in Rome? just go here and ask for double espresso. You can grazie me later.

We have visited the place in November 2021. It was amazing! We really liked the atmosphere of the bar. The friendly hosts, visitors that might talk with each other. Or people just passed by, got their coffee, drunk it while saying couple of words and left. Really the atmosphere of an Italian bar! The pizzas were great and connolis were crunchy-tasty!

A small coffee shop in Kungsholmen. It’s very authentic Italian place. Many of the customers in the cafe were Italians themselves. The cannoli had a lemon and chocolate option. I did not have a coffee here but I have heard that the coffee is very good

😠 Had heard good things about the place but was sadly disappointed. Waited 15 min for a menu and then 35 min for the food. I ordered the bearnaise 150g steak but as you can see that was never 150g, ridiculously small. Also the warmth was lacking. My company had the chicken burger and it was nearly col...
