AVOID!! For 3 reasons: 1- Maximum overprices I have ever seen in Sweden!! They charge you 85 SEK for a SMALL Cappuccino and 65 SEK for a Wienerbröd!! This is double the price that a normal cafe charges you, 2023. 2- There is no price list, only a list of coffees. As a customer you are not informed about their insane prices before you order and pay. 3- They seem to take advantage of the fact that most tourists visiting Stockholm don't know how much a cup of coffee should cost. So disappointing! We objected of course and got back our money and went to another cafe with normal prices. Will not go back to Muren!

Tourists rip off. Don’t understand why people still go and pay silly money when a quick look at some reviews will save you a fortune.

A small café with great music in the heart of the old town. The price was a bit expensive as we had a cappuccino, a glogg and a Nutella mudcake with a total cost of 29€. I think with a little more search you can find a more cozy and inexpensive café in that area..

Much too expensive for what you get. Vegan chocolate cake was at least 4 days old, tasted terrible, waffles and churros were not freshly made, just warmed up. Staff was unfriendly, made mistakes calculating (2x churros instead of 1x), wanted 340 Sek (more than 33 Euros for three small dishes !!), gave us back 79 sek. NEVER AGAIN !!!

I bought a filter coffee and a small bread with cinnamon and I payed 70kr, very expensive place. Shame on me for paying 40kr for a bread that they heated in a microwave.

Beware of thiefs !!! I got my bag stollen from this restaurant. And I spoke with the staffs to show the CCTV record. They said they don't have storage it's only live.

I echo the other reviews. Sad I didn't see them before I visited. Most outrageous prices in Sweden for mediocre pastries and small coffees. 164 SEK for a cinnamon bun and a tiny latte. Unacceptable.

84 kr for 5 churros which were not even crispy. Don't go there. It's a rip off.

Charged 15 krohne for extra topping for a small smear of Nutella on the churros. Churros are made by chucking them in the air fryer. Overpriced and disgusting.

The churos was not good! Little topping. The price does not reflect on the taste

Nice waffle. If you eat something in the middle of touristic center of course it will cosytmore than you expect. Be ready for it.

Don't waste ur money here, tourist trap. Churros was extremely expensive & worst churros i've ever had. It was sooo greasy, not freshly made. I guess they just put the frozen churros in the microwave. Staffs were not friendly either. Awful, definitely not coming back.

Stay away from this place! 100kr for 5churros, without sugar, pre-cooked and fryed in an air fryer and 15 kr for a cinnamon powder on top!

Tried Gelato ice cream Pistage n Tiramisu flavors. These were good, but Pistage was better flavor than Tiramisu. Here they do have churrios and waffles too. Small sitting space is there inside as well as outside the Cafe. Crowded place at Gamla Stan Street. Feel is good. Service n staff are helpful n courteous.

Rip off!!! Do NOT GO! Burned waffle, terrible service and even though the sign says sauce and toppings are free they charged us extra and refused to drop the extra charges. Gross!!!

Expensive for no reason. Very poor quality of foods and drinks and self serve. Ciabatta far from being good. Coffees were all cold and poorest Glogg we’ve tried so far

Tourist trap; expensive and prices are hidden. Stuff is not fresh, worker seemed a bit rude and they do not have a working toilet. They haven't even marked that the toiled is out of order, you have to ask the register.

Super cozy atmosphere ruined by the staff who seem to prefer chopping their legs off than work there. Advertising waffles and churros with different flavours on blackboards outside but only actually offering Nutella or Plain when inside. Working staff is barely audible between sighs and blank stares, while taking twice the money compared to similar places in town. I should've read reviews before entering. Tourist trap, ripoff, microwave waffles and a general bad gut feeling is the only way to describe my experience.

The prices are not advertised. Paid for two coffees and re-heated waffle and cake more then 300kr. Coffee didn’t arrive so staff directed me to ready made coffee from the thermos flask… I had to remind them I ordered latte so can’t be in the thermos. Staff then said we are closing in 10 minutes at 1707- seems like an odd time to close the cafe at 1707. Overall poor service, poor value for money

Great experience. Pretty good cinnamon rolls but 10/10 would come back for the location, hospitality and atmosphere. Safi was awesome and so nice for the hospitalilty!

The worse churros I ever had in my life. And super expensive

  • 1/5 Ann H. 5 years ago on Google
Soooo freaking much of a waste of time and money. Cinnamon bun super dry and has almost no cinnamon in it, waffles straight out of a pack and microwaved. Attendant is not very pleasant. Don’t bother even going there. worst of all, it’s so expensive for its bad quality.

EXPENSIVE! ..I knew being in the middle of Stockholm was going to be expensive but I have never spent £50 on a butty, drink and cakes in England so I didn't expect to in Stockholm .. the sandwich was advertised as ham and cheese but came smothered in mustard (which I don't like) and the cake I ordered was frozen. Nice food but not worth the price!

Cinnamon rolls cost you 8,50€ each, you get a hot chocolate for 8,50€ plus 2,25€ for the cream on top. Asked the waiter what went wrong with the bill but these were the actual prices. I couldn't believe it. The atmosphere was relaxing but bad music was played and the door was open the whole time, so it was very cold inside. Definitely no recommendation to go there!!

I have travelled around 31 countries in my whole life, and yes, 100% sure this is the worst one. The price is completely unreal for a regular coffee and cake. AVOID! Tourist trap

This place was disappointing!!!! Avoid and keep walking. Ordered churros and a glass of mulled wine which cost around 230 krona or £17.00. Yes, prices on tourist places will be slightly higher but this was a rip off !!! Waiter asked what chocolate to put on top of churros but didn't ask if I want it, only to see the bill she charged extra for toppings. The churros were soggy and not done, the mulled wine had no spice as shown on menu and was tasteless. The size of glass was so small that with 2 sips wine was gone. Quality of product zero stars. Never going back again !!! The place itself is cosy but service and quality of product not worth it!! 😕

No price lists visible and a small glass of non-alcoholic mulled wine cost €10, to which one almond and a raisin were added without asking, the price was something like €2.50. two pieces of cake and a bottle of soda over €40.

Why did we come here and didn't read the reviews 🙈 so overpriced, staff not helpful and friendly. The drinks I think they add water even the glögg taste watery. This cafe should be close. It is a shame in a beautiful place like gamla stan. There are no prices on items.
