Stay away from this place. Insanely expensive for an uncomfortable, dirty, not fresh, and cheap quality stuff. Its not real Swedish fika place. No prices displayed. Do not let the location fool you. Waffles were pre-made and microwaved before serving. Coffee is very regulate one from thermos. Glogg is heated by coffee machine steamer, not in traditional way. It is a complete scam. I never seen such an awful place in Sweden.

This is a very pretty tourist directed cafe with a fun underground section. My waffle was well made, it isn't difficult to mess that up but it was very expensive. My partners chocolate ball was far too buttery. It was also very expensive. If you do not mind over paying by 200-300% this is a decent place. Otherwise there are other places here one could choose to relax in.

Definitely worst churros ever, tasted like old cheap oil and are not fresh at all. Staff just reheated the churros in some hot machine to make them warm but the taste is pretty disgusting . The pack come with 4 pieces, we didn’t even finish the first one. Also is pretty overpriced (like all cafes in old town Main Streets) but i would not eat there again even if it was free.

Please do not come here. It’s a tourist trap. The food is horrible, the coffee is not the best. And it’s extremely expensive. We spent about 200 SEK on a pastry and americano.

Well. It’s crazy expensive. And you dont get to see the price of the buns. Even when u pay with a card, you wont be able to see the final amount. Only after when you get the payment confirmation receipt. So be aware. 65.- per bun. It is expensive. You’ll get a better price somewhere else. The flavor was alright. But again, considering the location be ready to pay extra.

Second visit here as we found this place on our last trip. The food is simple but quite nice. Waffles are a little bit more dense that regular waffles, but still equally as delicious.

The prices were unbelievably high. One small slice of cake was around 100 sek. Additionally, the cake was clearly not self-made and way too sweet.

Classical tourist trap, living off the highly frequented castle which is just around the corner. The people working there were the rudest people I have ever met in Sweden (regural visitor). The prices are high but that can be expected since it's in the old part of town of Stockholm. It's really how they treat their guests... these people should definitely be working somewhere else, cleaning toilets would be more appropriate imho.

No prices displayed and relatively unfriendly, rude staff. Can't fault the food but seems like they exploit there wonderful location to rip off tourists.

We visited this place in August 2023.Do not go to this Cafe. At first glance it looks like a nice cafe but it is a place where they sell you expensive cakes and coffee. staff wants to do everything quickly. Very expensive place

Nice place, really kind staff. Toilet is now free of charge for clients. Maybe not so cheep but its in the middle of old town so they need to earn for the rent 🤷🏽‍♀️ interior design is nice especially basement with rock walls and roof, great place to stop for kenelbulle and coffee or tea.

The prices aren't shown anywhere for a reason- it's eye-wateringly expensive so the bill comes as a nasty surprise. Asked at the cash-desk for a glass of tap water as we needed to take medicine- he refused stating company policy was only to sell bottled water. Only one other customer in the place so not too busy; just profiteering with bad attitude. Toilet was free (as it should be) but smelly and unkempt. Drinks were nice but minuscule. So many lovely places to eat/drink in Stockolm with delightful staff. This isn't one of them.

Crazy expensive and not value for money. Only displayed menu without prices and got enticed to try a sandwich there. Expected to pay 100+SEK but the bill was SEK260 for a sandwich and a coffee! Coffee made by a machine and sandwich was cold. Best tourist trap in the street, don’t get baited by the nice exterior. Hard skip.

Most definitely a tourist trap. Prohibitively expensive for what they offer and prices for food aren't posted anywhere. Food is okay, but definitely not worth the price. You can have a good and proper lunch for the same price.

Great relaxing place to eat and spend time. Was there with my friends after a long walk around the Gamla stan. Food was tasty, place is superbly interesting with several wall quotes around every corner. The concept is preety nice. You will enjoy food and will have a laugh by reading these quotes around. 😄 "Beer is Free Here (Only Tomorrow)"; "You go out you will be LOST in the street of Gamla Stan, But if you stay in you will be VERY LOST 🤣" Awesome!! Come on... it is fun... Recommended 👍

Bad choice, pizza slice was dry, tasteless and overpriced, same with the cola.. too expensive! Music was bad as well, just playing bad auto-tuned pop with a hard reggaeton beat through it. Hard to be able converse with another. Toilets are dirty, and lights dim every now and again, quite alarming!

We loved this cute cafe. The food was excellent. Went back a few days in a row for the goulash. Deserts are good too

Never had a saffron pastry before and this was tasty. I also bake quite a bit and I'm not sure this was made today...which for the price was disappointing.

We had a fun fika at this place. The Tosca was really good. Friendly service.

  • 1/5 fellsteruk 6 years ago on Google
This place looks like the picture of a typical Swedish coffee shop where you can get your Fika on, well don’t! Personally I didn’t find it that much more expensive than the rest of Stockholm which is to say “everything is expensive” however we had to wait for ages for the staff to serve us but he did seem friendly just disinterested, now the food isn’t great when you ask for a Nutella brownie you expect something special but what I got was a brown turd brownie, horrid and the coffee was basic at best!

Stopped here for a cappuccino and a kanelbulle, nothing extraordinary but it did the job. It looks like there are very nice looking pizza slice options as well. The prices are high but not ridiculous in my opinion, a lot of the negative reviews are old and seem to me like someone's first stop in Stockholm. I ordered at the counter like I have come to expect of cafes in Sweden, so I'm not sure what the negative reviews about bad service are either.

I haven't had a coffee there yet but their mulled wine is great, the rolls and pastries were nice. The atmosphere is more intimate that the chain stores.

  • 1/5 Vivian A. 1 year ago on Google
Too pricy for what I ordered! The clerk didn't seem to have patience. Definitely wasn't service minded. Kept asking if we needed anything else, not giving you a chance to see if you really wanted something else. Toilet was dirty and smelly.

😠 Had heard good things about the place but was sadly disappointed. Waited 15 min for a menu and then 35 min for the food. I ordered the bearnaise 150g steak but as you can see that was never 150g, ridiculously small. Also the warmth was lacking. My company had the chicken burger and it was nearly col...
