Yeah, you are looking for excellent Dutch beer, nice food and great atmosphere- this is it. Somewhat crowded, somewhat booked (tables &seating), but squish in among the locals. Absolutely recommended, nice service, had a great time!

Wonderful place!!! The atmosphere is awesome - something between bar and small local restaurant! The food is very delicious, friendly staff, the wine is fine and cold … all a man could ever want! Recommend!!

This was my first time here, happy times. The service is friendly and happy and great, the Guinness and other beers were fresh, tasteful and cold, the place is cozy and lively, with great vibes and the Moules Frites o aioli were excellent, to much tasty food I would say. Looking forward to come back soon. Update 2023: great place!!

Nice place where dogs are welcome, but also a bit crowded so your dog may be a bit in the way. From snacks to proper meals they have everything. And Guinness. :) Good for a 1-2 hours stay with friends I’d say. Friendly!!!!!! staff … thanks!

Excellent food menu, great selection of beers. Jaap and team run a great spot for a meal with a group or a quiet drink at the bar. Only place on town to watch Ajax! Make sure to have the beef cheeks ...

Went there for my 4th time. Friday evening. Busy. Had to wait about1 h for a table due to no reservation which I happily did. Took 20 min at the bar before asked if we wanted something to drink. Once seated we didn't get any bread to start with which one normally gets. The reason we didn't ask was cause we thought it would come. But then the food came instead. When we brought it up at the end of dinner the waiter said we could have asked. The attitude was disappointing. All he could have done was to say "sorry about that" and we would have been happy.

Amazing food, great staff, lovely atmosphere!

Nice bar for a Beer but, as most places in the area, quite packed on a Friday. We selected the exclusive beers but they didn’t have one of the the offers, the bartender offered us an alternative in good manners. We found a ourselves far in the back corner, a cozy one with a good mixture of arts and posters that contributed to the mood. Music was comfortably low and facilitated discussion.
