The staffs were friendly, the venue was classy, I tried the fish soup, which was way too salty, eventually I couldn’t finish it. The desert was the most famous Nobel’s but unfortunately I didn’t find it too special. A nice experience to be here though.

Good for experience of dining in old architectural location, food arrangement, flavours of some food. Simple selection from several meals per course. We had reservation while we were there, the palace was half empty, it is still recommended to make a reservation in advance as the palce got crowded later. They are Working really well on showing high standard from interaction of service with us, to details of meals on plates. Maybe location of our table on the place was unfortunate to catch waitress attention. Maybe my inexperienced persona is writing, but it is highly unusual to me to have the place without any waiters, especially for longer than several minutes. Multi-langual meny is not intuitive. Finding English part of the meny without asking waiters was without success. Service was helpful, and we managed even without detailed English vocabulary to have pleasant experience of all meals.

The small piece of bread in the beginning was solid rock and the starter was mediocre. From the main dish the meat was excellent but the rest were less than mediocre. The dessert was delicious and the drinks were very good. Overall I would say it was a good food experience but definitely not worth the money. It's more of a tourist trap because it is in the city hall and it's where the novelists eat.

Quail eggs served in a jar on top of a edible moss nest with hay smoke. Kalix row served on a nest of delicate fried onions. For the main course tried the morel mushroom stuffed quail and the reindeer with cellerac, both were excellent. Finished the meal with a 2019 Nobel raspberry treat and a cloudberry treat. I came for lunch. It's a surprising location under the City Hall. It looks like a cave with fresco like paintings adorning the walls and ceilings. I ordered the express lunch (149 SEK) which is a single dish that varies each day. I was lucky enough to get the baked pollock with a cream sauce and potatoes. I didn't expect much since pollock is typically a cheap, fatty, undesirable fish but it was delicious and a large portion. It also includes a small side salad and an assortment of bread. I found it a great value and excellent meal and setting.

Hidden gem in one of the most touristy places in Stockholm. Good lunch at decent price. Thursday is peasoup and pancakes but they usually have a vegetarian alternative as wells. Busy but if your at most 4 people it shouldn't be a problem.
