I also admitted that when I was younger I tried drugs, that is, tested, did not use or abuse. I also do not dream others about their choices, as it is up to everyone to do what they can and want with their lives. I am there as support and tell when someone is destructive. I myself neither smoke, snuff nor take drugs as I have children. Drinks alcohol extremely rarely. Before I got there, I had to undergo an investigation for ADHD. There I had to submit several blood samples and urine samples to prove that I am not taking illegal substances. Everything looked great of course. The doctor I got to see didn't ask anything about my exhaustion and didn't want to find out about my problems. But concentrated solely on my opinions. So was denied help, precisely because of my neutral opinions. Very offensive. Would never recommend that place. Where men exercise their position of power on innocent people who ask for help.

En jättestor besvikelse. Jag är helt utbränd av att jag lidit av smärtor i främst min högra handled (men även i andra leder) i 3 år. Först bedömde teamet att jag skulle få gå på gruppbehandling hos dem. De ville bestämma ett start datum direkt. Men igår blev jag uppringd av läkaren som sa till mig att de inte längre bedömer att det är rätt att ta emot mig eftersom jag sökt till psykiatrin samtidigt och hon tycker att jag borde ta hand om mina psykiska besvär först. Hon bedömde alltså att det är bättre för mig att gå helt obehandlad för min utbrändhet och för mina smärtor medans jag står i en kö för psykiatrin i vem vet hur många månader, istället för att börja behandla min utbrändhet och mina smärtor, som är orsakerna till min ångest. Läkaren sa även till mig att hon har ett ansvar gentemot andra patienter i gruppbehandling och att det därför inte lämpar sig att jag med min ångest går i en grupp med andra patienter. Jag blev alltså behandlad som en farlig galning som inte kan vara i grupp med andra människor pga att jag har lite ångest efter flera år av smärta. Jag förklarade för henne att min ångest inte påverkar andra människor, att jag kan gå på gruppbehandling och att jag själv känner när jag lyssnar på min kropp och mina symptom att jag behöver påbörja någon form av behandling både för min utbrändhet, för mina smärtor och för min ångest. Jag förklarade att det jag behövde var att få börja behandla min utbrändhet omgående, inte att förlora den chansen för att stå i psykiatrimottagningens kö. Hon struntade totalt i vad jag hade att säga. Hon hade redan bestämt sig innan hon ringde upp mig och jag tror att den sanna anledningen var en blandning av att hon inte tyckte om mig och av att det kanske finns någon riktigt dålig protokoll att följa, som begränsar hjälpen man kan få och gör att man istället för att bli frisk bara blir sjukare och sjukare. Som vanligt inom svensk vård. Helt sjukt. Jag vet att Bragee främst tar emot patienter som inte kunnat få hjälp för sina problem inom psyket. Men de hade beslutat att ta emot mig innan jag sökte till psyket. Och jag har varit i kontakt med psyket förut och inte fått någon effektiv hjälp. Nu sökte jag inte till psyket som primär behandling men endast som något extra för att ta hand om mina problem på ett komplett sätt. Jag räknade med väntetid och alltså med att börja på psyket efter behandlingen hos Bragee. Jag ville aldrig lägga allt mitt hopp endast på psyket, som redan förut visat sig vara ett ställe där man endast blir erbjuden amfetamin, även om det inte är något som hjälper för en. Om läkaren hade brytt sig ett knyst om att hjälpa mig så hade hon kunnat tipsa mig om att undvika psyket just nu för att kunna behandlas på Bragee först. Men det gjorde hon inte, det enda hon engagerade sig i var att göra sig av med mig. Hon sa även att en till anledning till att hon inte bedömde att det skulle vara rätt att erbjuda mig behandling var pga att jag verkade skeptisk gentemot vården. Jag förklarade för henne att man blir lite skeptisk när man i 3 år mött väldigt många arbetsterapeuter och läkare som inte kunnat hjälpa en. Om jag söker till en behandling betyder det dock att jag ger det en riktig chans med positiv inställning. Jag sa till henne att jag hade fått ett bra intryck av alla på Bragee och att jag var positivt inställt till deras behandlingsmetoder. Hon struntade i det. Hon försökte bara hitta ursäkter för att inte ta emot mig. Självklart tappade jag under samtalets gång allt förtroende för Bragee och ville till slut själv inte längre gå på behandling. Jag känner att jag har blivit riktigt orättvist behandlad av en kall och inkompetent läkare. Och hon undrar varför man verkar skeptisk till vårdsystemet? Under mitt läkarbesök hos henne så antydde hon även att jag skulle vara en person som dricker mycket alkohol pga att jag även har italienska rötter (svensk mamma, italiensk pappa, född i Sverige). Jag svarade: "är det inte här i Sverige som det ligger spyor över hela städer under helgerna?". Sen la jag det bakom mig. Jag tror inte hon gjorde det.

Otroligt proffsiga och hjälpsamma vård- och socionompersonal som gjorde känna mig för 1:a gången förstått och inte hypokondriaker!! Tacksam för tiden och kunskaper jag fick för att bemästra, t.o.m att minska och förändra min kroniska smärta samt återfår självförtroende och hopp. Kram till alla! 💗💞💝

Ett år sedan jag avslutade min behandling och tyvärr hjälpte rehab på Brageé inte alls. Tyvärr är rehaben inte tillräckligt individanpassad enligt min mening utan all personal går enligt förberedda presentationer och gör samma med alla grupper med små justeringar av tex övningar. Inte tillräckligt med tid för den enskilde individen.

Fantastic treatment by competent staff, where I really felt safe and believed. During my time at Bragee, I gained so many tools and such good self-esteem that I now have the courage and strength to stand up for myself and my needs. I wish with all my heart that everyone who needs it could have access to the expertise that is available here, and not have to harrow among incompetent care centers where you only get worse.

Skulle inte rekomendera detta ställe under en undersökning fick jag min hand skadad av en av deras läkare , kunde inte greppa med handen och en väldigt jobbig smärta i handen som blev helt bortdomnad. Efter en månad så är handen ännu inte ok.

I unfortunately felt very disappointed. Their arrangement is that you come up there first for a start-up meeting and pay SEK 400 (although it is not a doctor you see), then you have to come again for a "team visit" and see three different therapists with an appropriate enough fee of SEK 700 (doctor SEK 400, psychologist SEK 100, physiotherapist SEK 200). They change personnel all the time and just walking around with walking sticks in their courtyard is not what I call rehab anyway. Also unpleasant unprofessional argumentative staff at the reception and an overwhelming feeling that no one knows what to do. Had high expectations and had heard very good things about Dr. Björn Bragée and physiotherapist Britt Bragée, but this is only adult daycare combined with the fact that you have to pay as much as possible combined with the fact that the Bragée clinic can charge as much as possible from the choice of care from Region Stockholm. Very dishonest and I ended the so called rehab program early because there was no order and different staff all the time who didn't know what they were there to do and in short this is a place to stay away from you will not get well here but it is only arranged to squeeze as much money as possible from Region Stockholm. Good that they have removed the free choice of care now for this so-called rehabilitation clinic is a big joke and Dr. Björn Bragée is just a profit-hungry opportunist and if you check his history, he has done this before and set up clinics that then milked money from the county council until it doesn't work. Have been a patient at the Bragee Institute for several years, and although the diagnosis itself is tricky, complicated and long-winded, the treatment has always been so warm, professional, solution-oriented and informative. The desire to do everything that is possible and based on research and proven experience has been very clear. The doctor and researcher Ollie Polo has always met me with curiosity, GREAT knowledge and enormous warmth and affirmation. Especially during the investigation period. Hugely grateful for the treatment and the time spent on little me. Finally, question marks that were connected; history and the present were connected like a web of what I thought had been relatively separate threads. I understand that there has been a long time between doctor's visits and thus it is not easy as a doctor to remember "just me", (although it could easily be different in a world with unlimited resources) based on the great pressure and the growing patient group, which also do not get "healthy" quickly and disappear from the "system". What are one's advantages are often also one's disadvantages, and what one wins in attendance and time in the conversation, may sometimes have meant a long wait for the doctor's visit - mainly when I had time later in the afternoon 😅 But, I'd rather take full attendance and time when it's my turn, and I know we're a time-consuming patient group. It is not the clinic's fault that research takes a long time, that the patient group where many are long-term ill, and that there is not a pill that solves all me/cfs-related problems with - yet. Everyone I have met during my years (and I have had time to meet both occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, ssk, doctors, receptionists, research nurses, specialists from Finland, etc.) have regularly updated me and brought new knowledge and additional perspectives on various me/cfs- related issues - sometimes things I never knew or would understand are linked to the me/cfs issue. The only times I have reacted to strange endings to meetings, I understand in retrospect, were after the staff learned that the Bragee Institute would lose the contract with the region, but they were not allowed to say anything to the patients yet, and would close all contacts on a case-by-case basis and refer onward to health center. Do not withdraw the region's agreement with the Bragee institute! Why throw away all the collected and built-up knowledge in the lake regarding this resource-demanding and knowledge-requiring patient group; a group of patients who cannot fight for themselves - let alone for the clinic. In addition, there are many patients on long-term sick leave who do not have SEK 2-3,000 (at least) extra to pay for each doctor/visit, which would be the case if/when the region withdraws and before any new specialist clinic is built and functioning well ( it will also put the burden on the already overburdened shoulders of the health centres). Should the region build its own - do it first and make the transition for patients seamless. The majority of patients have spent far too much time with general practitioners, who many times do not even "believe in the diagnosis" or have the knowledge to weave the web of threads that fit together in this puzzle.

Bragée ruined my life. Not recommended.
