I've
been
going
to
SATS
Odenplan
regularly,
almost
every
week
for
the
last
10
years.
The
gym
used
to
be
in
good
condition
and
still
has
generous
opening
hours
due
to
its
location
and
high
volume
of
members,
however
I'm
seriously
thinking
of
switching
my
membership
to
another
gym
due
to
frequent
disappointments
and
extremely
incompetent
management.
Summary
of
my
experience:
-
Sauna:
The
sauna
gets
broken
way
too
frequently,
at
least
once
every
two
months.
As
of
writing
this,
it's
again
out
of
order
and
repair
takes
weeks.
The
frequency
and
the
times
this
happens
is
uncanny
which
has
led
me
to
believe
that
it
is
done
on
purpose
to
save
on
electricity.
Right
now,
It's
the
end
of
August,
when
people
are
back
from
vacation
and
surprise,
no
sauna
which
for
me
and
many
others,
is
the
best
part
of
the
workout.
Last
year,
same
thing
happened
almost
around
the
same
time
and
also
the
year
before.
I
don't
know
how
SATS
business
model
works
i.e.
whether
the
center
local
management
takes
profit
on
reducing
expenses
or
whether
it's
rotten
to
the
core?
I
seriously
doubt
the
latter
since
smaller
centers
with
much
less
traffic
usually
have
a
functioning
hot
sauna
all
year
round.
Also
after
Covid
when
electricity
prices
went
up
suddenly,
this
center
was
one
of
the
few
which
was
selected
to
keep
the
sauna
open,
however
the
unit
temperature
was
set
to
low
(to
save
on
electricity?
is
it
really
worth
it
at
the
expense
of
ruining
customer
experience?)
so
in
practice,
it
never
worked.
Even
if
it's
not
done
on
purpose,
then
it
implies
extremely
poor
management
who
can
not
handle
the
maintenance
properly.
The
unit
brand
is
Tylö
which
is
the
same
one
used
in
most
of
the
SATS
centers.
How
come
this
specific
unit
goes
out
of
order
so
frequently?
If
so,
why
doesn't
SATS
invest
in
a
bullet-proof
heating
unit?
-
Equipment
maintenance:
There
are
5
elliptical
machines
in
the
middle
of
the
gym
that
are
very
popular
and
only
one
of
them
functions
as
intended
(the
first
one
to
the
right
when
you
enter
the
gym).
It's
been
like
this
for
years.
They
do
some
maintenance
occasionally
but
the
machines
are
not
working
as
they
should.
Same
situation
with
the
3
stationary
bikes
(relaxed
seats)
at
the
back
of
the
gym.
All
three
of
them
have
pedal
pressure
failure
on
high
resistance
(over
20)
and
a
bit
faster
pace.
How
much
does
it
cost
to
replace
them
with
a
new
one?
I
am
more
than
willing
to
pay
a
bit
extra
on
my
subscription
as
long
as
SATS
Odenplan
maintains
a
certain
level
of
SLA
wrt
equipment
maintenance
and
the
sauna
up
time.
I'm
sure
many
other
regular
members
would
agree
with
me.
If
in
doubt,
do
a
survey.
In
a
less
severe
situation,
all
the
rowing
machines
have
subpar,
sometimes
broken
foot
straps.
It's
such
a
simple
thing
to
fix
that
would
make
a
huge
impact
on
user
experience.
Now
these
examples
are
just
the
equipment
that
I
use
often,
no
idea
about
the
rest.
Minor
complaints,
not
a
deal
breaker:
-
Too
loud
music
in
the
boxing
arena:
There's
an
open
space
boxing
arena
right
beside
the
training
section
on
the
right
wing
where
the
instructors
usually
play
too
loud
music.
Now,
the
best
part
of
my
day
is
my
workout
when
I
listen
to
some
audio
book
or
podcast
during
my
training
and
record
notes
which
requires
focus.
The
loud
music
is
very
distracting
and
sometimes
annoying.
Music
is
very
subjective
and
the
people
who
signed
up
for
the
boxing
class
don't
need
extra
motivation
to
get
moving
as
they're
already
fit
and
in
good
shape.
Some
of
the
boxing
classes
take
place
at
6-7
am
and
I
highly
doubt
a
person
who
attends
it
at
that
time
requires
an
annoying
loud
music
(chosen
by
the
instructor)
to
get
moving.
Please
be
mindful
of
the
other
members
nearby
in
the
free
weight
training
area.
-
Chalk:
Is
there
any
rule
on
using
chalk?
Many
gyms
ban
it
or
limit
it
to
specific
sections
but
at
this
center,
I've
seen
even
trainers
sometimes
use
it.
OK,
but
shouldn't
the
user
clean
the
barber/dumbbell
and
weights
afterward?
Shouldn't
you
put
up
some
notes
or
warnings
for
that
since
it's
quite
unpleasant
to
touch
a
piece
of
metal
where
there's
chalk
all
over
it.
