We spent only about 90 minutes skating - not a "full day programme" as advertised. Most of the day was spent driving, as we drove for an hour and a half each way. We arrived to a commercialised, crowded lake rather than the "beautiful nature" in the description and photos of this activity. The ice was only about a pavement width and was packed with people. Further, the conditions were shockingly terrible. The ice was lumpy with huge cracks in so it was nearly impossible to skate. Our guide even advised us to take off our skates and "just walk". The guide was constantly in a hurry, and even left me behind after lunch, without checking that my backpack was on safely. He provided no instruction on skating, except to lean forward. We were left alone to navigate the path ourselves. I was expecting a day in nature, with peaceful and serene surroundings like in the pictures. Instead, it was a busy, noisy spot full of people, in the shadow of a power station. Just awful. Pictures for comparison - how it was advertised vs what we got. Disgusting behaviour from a company. If it was truly the case that there was no good ice anywhere within driving distance, they should have rescheduled the activity or changed to something more suitable. I'm so upset about this.

There is one bad comment on this tour, but all this lady writes is simply not true. It was a singular experience with a lot of fun, a very knowledgeable guide and ever so many animals to watch. The campsite style dinner was just lovely, we enjoyed it in this spectacular atmosphere. Thanks to Jasper for giving us this nice evening tour, lots of memories and photos to take home.

We spent an awesome day with Patrick kayaking and pick-nicking. And also had the luck to see a moose mother with her 2 children on the way back to Stockholm. All in all, it was a wonderful day for us and we would go on an tour again and also recommend Patrick and Green Trails!

Enjoyed an energetic full-day kayaking trip guided by Patrick. Saw sea eagles 🩅 in the distance, Osprey, swans, jellyfish, and a stout (looks like a small mongoose). Great gear: The kayaks were top notch. Just remember, whatever group you are with will only move as fast as the slowest kayakerđŸ›¶

We went on the Wildlife Safari Stockholm with Patrick and George. It was great fun! There were Harry Potter-owls, Bambi-deer and I felt like we would see trolls at some point because the Swedish woods are so magical. We had a great homemade meal as well. Both George and Patrick know a lot of interesting wildlife facts & knowhow. Plus I found them kind and funny and they appreciated my silly moose mating call (calling it a "beautiful sound"). In summation: very educational and enjoyable. I strongly recommend the wildlife safari!

We did a sailing trip among the islands leaving from NynÀshamn which is approximately 1 hour train ride from Stockholm. The experience was truly spectacular. I loved sitting at the bow to see everything. We tied up in a cove to have lunch and then continued sailing. Sofia was our captain and she made our day so special. We would do this again!

A really enjoyable way to spend an evening. A trip out into the country to see Moose and Deer etc combined with an campfire meal of Moose burgers Excellent guide and great to see the wildlife.

Had a lot of fun kayaking through the archipelago with our guides Stevie and Ella, it was a nice way to step away from the city and enjoy the nature of Sweden. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm!

Not much to say really. Other than - top notch amazing experience :D! We were on a full day kayaking tour of the Swedish archipelagos with Jasper as our guide in a small group of four. Jasper kindly took the time to explain us the significant natural landscapes and sceneries as well as the associated history as we kayaked through the Swedish waters. We learned a lot about the local wildlife and scenery was just beautiful! Great exercise and workout too. --- Great points: 1. A+ tour guide Jasper for his guidance and tour that was never boring - the small "fika" stop for coffee + pastries on water was a cherry on top! 2. Respected dietary requirements for our lunch stop. 3. Prioritized our safety at all times on and off water. Possible suggestions for improvement: 1. Maybe more food choices or possibility to pre-arrange food choice during the booking process? I personally felt the quiches served for lunch were a bit of a heavy choice for an active kayak outing - something lighter like a simple ham sandwich or baguette might be better? The quiche itself tasted good though! --- Can highly recommend! We will definitely be back for more in the future!

What a great winter hike! I decided to come to Sweden for a winter nature experience and I'm very happy I went with Green Trails. They bring everything you need for a perfect hike in the snow, tasty hot food and pastries, hot chocolate and lots of supplies to keep ourselves warm and have a great outdoor experience in the snowy forest. The hike was beautiful, with breathtaking views, and George was great providing us with lots of information about animals and the nature in Sweden. He definitely knows how to survive in the wild! I had so much fun, and now I treasure some amazing memories. Thanks a lot!

We did the wild life safari with Victor, and totally loved the experience! We enjoyed the campsite diner and learned how to prepare the wood and light fire. We were also super lucky with the weather, see some wild animals which is totally existing (however for people who are used to nature / wild animal explorations this might seem ordinary). Victor is a very calm and incredibly nice guide, we totally recommend this safari trip.

Great experience, you can live the Swedish Nature. Organizers are very gentle and prepared. Be careful because you must wear appropriate clothes, as suggested, and it is not so easy from physical point of view. It is an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.

It was a nice trip in the nature. Our guide tour was Stevie. We have seen a lot of deers and after the sun went down we saw some mooses.

I did one of the wildlife safari tours with them. Unfortunately we did not see any moose but we saw a lot of deer, some birds and even a rabbit. I really enjoyed the tour and the nice food by the fire in the beginning. We also learnt a bit about Sweden, the landscape and even saw some Viking Runestones. I love that they also cater to vegan and vegetarian tastes. Highly recommend - if you get carsick easy make sure you get a seat in the front tho. All the headturning and trying to see from the back can make you a bit nauseous.

INCREDIBLE day kayaking, hiking and swimming with Patrick. This organisation is the best - great service and they care for the environment. A must do experience if you are in Stockholm.

I went on a memorable 3 day kayaking trip in the archipelago of Stockholm with Green Trails. It was very well organized before/during the trip and we could not have asked for a better guide than Patrick. He took care of the group very well, gave us interesting facts about the area and even managed that we were able to see seals out there :-) Great trip, 100% recommended!

We had a wonderful day sailing with Johannes. My husband races dingy sailboats and was very excited to get to helm a bigger boat. We visited a lovely island, were provided a tasty meal and overall had a lovely day.

I've just been on the day-long kayaking trip in Stockholm's archipelago and I could not be happier! The entire experience, from booking, contacting, organisation and the trip itself was excellent! Patrick, the kayaking guide, is a super-nice, very involved, friendly and professional person with a lot of knowledge about the nature that he eagerly shares. I can't wait to check out other adventures they offer!

We had a wonderful evening in the nature! Patrick is a really cool guy and he knows everything about Swedens wildlife and its history. He answered every question and explained many things. The trip was very well structured, we got coffee upfront, a binocular, food was super tasty and he was very committed to find all the animals he talked about in the beginning of the tour. Of course seeing certain animals can not be planned. But we were lucky enough to spot two elks and hopefully you are too. If you have the time this trip is definitely worth it!

I absolutely loved my one-day sailing tour with The Green Trails in the Stockholm Archipelago. Our captain Clair was amazing! Super knowledgeable and friendly he made the excursion from GÄlö to Ornö a lot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to steer the boat and learning how to properly tack. I felt like it was not only a great way to see the Archipelago, but to experience true sailing. The lunch provided and the lunch stop views were equally great. Worth every dollar to venture off with The Green Trails.

Wonderful experience! Guides were enjoyable to talk to and knowledgable about not only kayaking, but also the wildlife around you. Lunch was a great Swedish pie and one of the best salads I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Great adventure for a day to hike around the nature reserve. Jonas has been a wonderful guide. We walked through the forest, around the frozen lake and had lunch by the fire. Thank you Green Trails team!

Amazing experience! We went for ice skating on the baltic sea, the view was breathtaking I recommend to know how to skate even the basic lessons because you have a long route to cover and you might not enjoy it if a first time skater especially if it's windy. Our guide was awesome, skillful, friendly and kind.
