Probably the best vegan restaurant in the city. We ate the lunch buffe which every time I have visited was at high quality. The Vegan Cesar Sallad is an absolute favorite, and probably one of the best cesar sallads regardless of vegan or not. Humus is another favorite. Always a good variety of other warm and cold dishes. Fairly priced. Warm recommendations.

We really enjoyed this vegan restaurant in Stockholm! They have a great menu, including vegan steaks, etc. They also have a great vegan buffet (hot and cold foods) that is a good value. We will definitely recommend this place to others!

This is all vegan buffet. For that price, this is great deal. I don't have to ask anyone for vegan options, as everything is vegan. The people are so nice and sweet. I highly recommend this place for vegans

I recently dined at Chou Chou in Stockholm and was blown away by the delicious food and impeccable service. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The menu had a great variety of dishes to choose from, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. But the real standout for me was the service. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was top-notch. We had drinks and pizza. One drink was not drinkable, four people tried independently and did not perceived it as consumable. They refused to change it. The pizza was ok, well. Experience was ok, location is good

Very delicious vegan buffet. Didn't notice it was vegan when i entered. Really worth for kr169. They had taco Friday. Dishes inspired from Mexico, India, etc. Coffee included. Great ambience with outdoor and indoor seating. It's inside moods gallerian.

I've been here for both the lunch buffet and dinner (pictures are from the dinner) The staff is very junior and do not have much knowledge of the wine list or service. We were two people charing these places and got 3 slices of bread instead of 2 or 4. The pizza was ok but not a Napolitano style dough. The American pancakes was supposed to come with cream, barries and chocolate sauce. But as you can see it came with a colored cream a chocolate cream and some decorative barries. I told the servers and got some discount but not another alternative. The buffet is definitely much better. Recommend the buffet over the dinner alternatives.

The lunch buffet was great and well priced (149:-). The waiter seemed pretty knowledgeable and recommended some good wines Good hot dishes and plenty of different salads, good bread and coffee included Nice ambience and a nice addition to the Stockholm food scene, will be back!

The best vegan buffet I’ve ever seen in my life, not really a buffet but a full blown restaurant where you can top up your plate as you wish 😬😬😬 such a shame I’ve discovered it only on my last day, otherwise I would have eaten there for lunch and dinner every day! Can’t wait to come back! 🤩🤩🤩

Fantastic buffet, super attentive and friendly staff - both on the floor and in the kitchen. Everything was clearly lovingly and creatively made. Personal faves: boeuf bourguignon, lasagne and Caesar salad. Only thing I’d recommend is not serving the couch seats for dinner, it was a tad uncomfortable. But I loaded two plates with delicious food so it clearly wasn’t too much of a pain! 😄 Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu + dessert!

This is a must-visit destination for vegans in Stockholm. Very friendly service and incredible food. I can highly recommend the Kebab, the pepperoni pizza, and the Steak Provence.

I travel. A lot. Everywhere I go, I find Vegan restaurants as I have been plant based for nearly a decade. This is without a question the best Vegan food I've ever had. Every bite is bursting with flavor! The atmosphere is beautiful in downtown Stockholm with a very nice view. Before this review I ordered the Buffett and tried a little of everything on the line. Every single thing was amazing! I will never forget Restaurang Chouchou. I will eat here every time I visit Stockholm, Sweden.

Personal is really kind and the pizza I tried was tasty. The mix of cheeses made it taste like the real thing, which was impressive, but the dish had a very high amount of oil (and the cheeses themselves already consist of 30% of coconut oil) And this leads to my biggest criticism. I had expected there would be plenty of healthy options; but sadly this was not the case, and a bit surprising given all options were vegan. I think when the restaurant would offer more healthy food options (low-no oil, sugar free, whole food) that would greatly improve the appeal.

The best vegan in town : try the lentil stew and the stews and the lassagne. Omg so good 😊

Das chouchou hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt hier eine gute Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Speisen und auch die typischen Köttbuller sind sehr lecker. Alles was wir hatten, hat uns gut geschmeckt und ich wäre gerne noch einmal vorbei gekommen und noch weitere Speisen auszuprobieren. Das Personal war super lieb und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist definitiv meine erste Empfehlung, wenn man lecker vegan in Stockholm essen möchte.

Had a lovely buffet dinner with amazing cold dishes, warm dishes and breads. The cold dishes stood out the most for me personally. Lovely spot for vegan vegetarian food👌🏼

I needed to add salt to my salmonish pasta dinner, allthought then it was good to eat. Dessert was not very good, but ok. We did not get fine table. Bit expencive place.

The vegan buffet was amazing! Fresh salads, slice-it-yourself bread, and a variety of hot entrees and sides…I especially enjoyed the ratatouille and the roasted potatoes, but everything was delicious. Lovely outdoor eating area, too. Highly recommended!

Delicious and pleasant. Definitely worth the price. I have no idea why people seem to be bothered by 149kr for an fantastic buffet downtown Stockholm. I live in the city and have tried almost all vegan places and this is definitely one for the best AND lowest price range AND a buffet. Feedback: a little less salt please. It really becomes a problem when every dish is salted and I try them all. Please don’t aim to satisfy thoughts who over use salt and then complain about food being bland. Or listen to a chef that’s ruined their buds. I cook a lot a home and never use salt, which works just fine. I’ll change my rating if I see this improvement. Otherwise I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

Very cool spot that you have to check out especially if you are vegetarian or vegan. Even if you're not the food is so good you will not care. I had the chili burger which was awesome!

perfect meal. good atmosphere. kitchen chefs and workers are great fellows. relaxed and brilliant. not too expansive. the salmoonish pasta was exciting. i belive this to be quite a masterpiece. Surprisingly set within this small mall. Gustav the chef blends extreme ideas and ideals into lovely well-made delices. I would come again.

I've been here on multiple occasions as it is one of Stockholm's only fully vegan restaurants. I highly recommend going for the lunch buffet, and the meatballs and mash are pretty good too. Unfortunately, the pepperoni pizza tastes a bit soapy. The cocktails I've tried (an old fashioned and a mangolorian) were completely fine, but not as smooth as I would have liked. It's has a lovely atmosphere inside and out, even with a DJ outside if you want. It's in a very central location and is a convenient walk away from Sveavägen, where I work. They have also catered to my girlfriends nut allergy previously which is a big plus, although they could do with having more nut free options.

Oh. My. God. This place has good food. After a flight, buffet style was just what I needed. I am still dreaming about the vegan skangerora... I can't get it off my mind. Reasonably priced as well, considering it's Sweden! Also, beautiful set up. Will come again someday!!

The BEST vegan restaurant we've been to. My partner and I went for lunch today, and the experience was incredible. The buffet is of high quality, the new meat alternative they've introduced tastes just like 100% real meat, and it's evident that the kitchen is top-notch. To top it off, the head chef came out to greet us and explain the restaurant's philosophy. He even treated us to some desserts. An unbeatable experience, another reason to come back to Stockholm!
