Caffè Ritazza

Cafe

😠 Coffee was an absolute disgrace. My expectations were quite low after only having average coffee in Stockholm, but this was worse than I expected. Ordered a cafe latte and I received a cappuccino-sized cup with the coffee tasting like plain milk. Do not come here. People often mention coffee, good, train,

Located inside the central station, so expect a stressful environment and a bit sloppy service/staff. They have oat milk for coffee, and the coffee is good.

A copy of the letter I sent to this company's PR: T Centralen location 5151 Hello. This morning I came to your cafe. I sat in the lounge waiting for a train. One of your servers was upset, stood and stared at me for a while right in front of me and asked me if I had bought anything. I told him no and he then told me to leave and take my things with me. Instead, without his direction, I bought a coffee and sat back down; a more reasonable way to handle the situation. His demeanor was very rude and aggressive. It is understandable that the cafe policy is that only people who have bought something can sit at the cafe. That is normal. The way this server handled it was really disrespectful and rude. I understand that at the Central Station there can be homeless people and drug addicts who are there sometimes. Perhaps this could explain his demeanor. Either way, whether a consultant who wasn't made aware of the cafe's policy in a respectful way or a homeless person, disrespect and aggression is no way for anyone to be treated(including homeless people and drug addicts, who if not already mentally ill, will become that way in a short amount of time under the circumstances they have partially chosen). I am not interested in a response. I just hope that you might train your employees to not behave in such a terrible way. Have a great day.

Good coffee shop food and the only place on the station that you can get Lavazza coffee.

Oooooo! Needed to tag this place for lovely flatwhites and pecan tarts. Friendly service crew. A good place for a quick stop over before venturing to other locations. Use this place as your pit stop when exploring the city.

Sandwiches were really good and big. I did grab and go though so didn’t interact with the staff too much but it was really fast to get my sandwich and go.

A great place to chill and wait for your train ride. Large tables with comfy chairs and space to place your luggage out of the way. Had a salad and was delicious. Cappuccino was also very good.

Sat there waiting for train. Ordered some cheese sandwich and Chai Late. Felt little awkward. Chai Late was cold, asked them to warm it up again, they did it with no smile or even eye contact.

The coffee has little more than fancy names in common with the Italian originals. Macchiato is some sort of american childrens drink with an insane amount of sugar, 95% tepid foamed milk and possibly (not quite sure) trace amounts of coffee.

Food took very long to get, and there was very much chili in the pasta, even though chili wasn’t advertised. Ruccola was missinh from the other dish even though it was advertised.

100% disappointing coffee. No smell except burnt bean taste.

I must mention that my overall experience was impacted by a tight schedule. As such, I did not have time to sit down and try other items from the menu other than a to go espresso machitatto. Having said that, I cannot stress how badly brewed the coffee was. Upfront astringent simply bitter and an unpleasant experience. Nonetheless the employees were kind, moved fast and efficiently.

Long wait compared to most places. Coffee was not particularly good either. Cant expects too much from a coffee place at a train station I guess.

Ritazza is expensive, but the food and drinks are fairly good, and it's definitely the nicest place to sit down for a longer period of time at the central station.

😠 Had heard good things about the place but was sadly disappointed. Waited 15 min for a menu and then 35 min for the food. I ordered the bearnaise 150g steak but as you can see that was never 150g, ridiculously small. Also the warmth was lacking. My company had the chicken burger and it was nearly col...
