I was here earlier this year (around early May) visiting from the U.S. A rude employee (lady in her 20s with dark curly hair) gave me a really dirty look even before I placed an order then she "accidentally" threw my credit card while handing it back to me. I love Sweden but this incident really left a bad taste in my mouth along with several other instances that were explicitly racially motivated. I won't be back.

There was so much Dijon mustard on the cheese & han sandwich it's all I can taste, even after the brownie & coffee. Worst sandwich I've ever bought.

spent my birthday in Stockholm and my boyfriend went on a mission to find cake! He brought back the most beautifully presented goodies from Gateu! And I am pleased to say they tasted as incredible as they looked (to the point I returned to the bakery twice for more!!) i had the mini fruit crumbles which come with a lovely smooth vanilla custard and the pecan pie! They were delicious. The bakery staff were always very polite and helpful! I want to fly back to Stockholm now for more!!!

2nd day of Stockholm. The cakes are Light and delicious! Not much sweet :) ! When I wanna to eat dessert at night, i found the cake long time at central station around late of night, but all shops are only bread and Gateau still open and cake seems good look! Finally, it’s worth to eat again!

Everything is very delicious and made with passion but only the service...very rude and not helpful employee at all. I felt dissapointed 😥 hope this changes and ahe understands how to behave with costumers! Oh I just realised, sorry the comment is for the other Gateau in Stockholm Central but cant find it in maps anyway!

Just bought semla here for SEK 69 each. Really disappointed, bun was compact and boring. The cream was whipped too hard, the almond mass had a dull sugar-crystalline consistency. This was also the pig in the sack so it was some kind of experimental roll with salted almonds in it which could be good if it was too salty Inge! It would have been better to buy semla at the coop. ☹️
