The convenient location near the main train station, spotless cleanliness, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast make it a top-notch choice. I highly recommend staying here for a 5-star experience. The rooms boast beautiful wooden floors that add elegance to the space. However, there's a slight noise issue when guests in rooms above walk with heels or make loud movements. So consider using earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Overall, a stylish stay with minor noise considerations.

In the USA, either in cold, or hot weather areas, from budget hotels, all have Air Conditioning. It is unbelievable that this hotel in Downtown of Sweden's Capital City does not offer it. Certainly, winters are long here, but they also have long summer warm days, so, with the rates charged, they should provide full climate control. Their answer, was risible, "we will try to get you a fan", they provided a toyish fan. Usually hotel pictures favor the rooms, but here, they really depicts other reality, actually, they are claustrophobic sized rooms, with one small window, that DO NOT open, so, you can not at the very least least, open it at dawn to freshen the room, virtually no amenities (even a bottle of water), or surfaces here to simply put stiff.

This is a great hotel in a great location. Centred over the transport hub of Stockholm with easy access to buses, trams and trains. We had a city view room and the view was very scenic. Has no bar fridge but we didn’t find this to be an issue.

First of all the hotel location is fantastic, just opposite Stockholm station, and above Stockholm central metro. Just a slight walk from arlanda express terminal. Room was comfortable. They assigned a corner room with nice views of the city. Breakfast buffet was also decent though not the best. Coffee quality needs improvement.

Just outside central Stockholm railway station... from the hotel, it's just 10 minutes walk to old City Town, 5 minutes to city hall, 10 minutes to Royal Palace.. The hotel is surrounded by many eating options... The rooms are big and well maintained.. only problem is with Pillows and mattresses, both are soft, rest all is good with the hotel, breakfast is good and the staff is really good and always happy to help... 5 star for staff and their services.

The hotel is beautiful and located well in the city, but god forbid you want peace and quiet in your room. We have a beautiful windowed room on the eighth floor and were NOT warned about the incredibly loud bar that is on the same floor. We didn’t have a choice in where our room was or we wouldn’t have chosen one next to a very loud bar with bass that won’t stop. The front desk claims to want to help but the bar is overwhelming, they wouldn’t change our room and claimed to be fully booked, for the price we should be able to rest at night! We won’t be staying here again.

Location was perfect , so close to the train station and just 10 minutes walk from the old town. We got an upgrade and had windows in our bedroom which was nice. The breakfast was so good ! So much choice and a few Swedish delicacy!

Nice hotel. Good selection of breakfast food. Gym is decent. Pretty convenient location especially for work trip. Major criticism: WiFi is tragically bad in the rooms especially when trying to get work done. One’s forced to get to the lobby where there’s no privacy.

Modern and neat rooms, great breakfast and polite staff. Sadly my most memorable thing about this hotel are the elevators! They barely ever came to your floor, and even then the people inside were going to opposite direction. Just a small thing that became very annoying after your 5th time having to take the stairs just because the elevators wouldnt work as intended..

Top stylish hotel in the middle of Stockholm. Everything is easy to reach. Amazing breakfast! Clean rooms and also very good gym. Service and welcoming is great! Sundeck is amazing! Bar on 8th floor with top interior and drinks!

The location of this place is exceptional. It is located on the top of Stockholm Central Station, so tram, trains and Airport (Arlanda) Express are all right there. The hotel is modern and located centrally with great restaurants and other attractions. Yes, it is not in Gamla Stan, but we walked there easily, about 25 minutes. This place has all the shopping areas nearby as well. The rooms are way too small. It was just impossible for the 3 of us (Adults) and I wish there were bigger rooms. The breakfast is also good, (again, it grades only a 3.8 or 3.9 out 5 because, have stayed in other Scandinavian hotels where the breakfast was just too good [in the range of 4.5 to 4.8]). The hotel also loans bicycles to their guests and it is first come first served, which is very good. Hotel service staff are okay. I would stay here for the location and convenience, and around this area, this is one of the best. If willing to compromise on the location, then there may be other hotels that are better. Not sure.

Excellent location. It is within a half to three quarters of a mile to all the attractions. The central train station is directly across. Lots of food and shops nearby. The lobby is super comfortable and nice for working. There are bikes as well. The breakfast buffet has a large variety and really good. The rooms are clean and well kept. Although there weren't any windows for my room, it was fine. I slept very well.

First let me say the staff are great! Very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Easy walk to old Town and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Oh and train stations next door. They have a very nice breakfast. And a cool bar.the room was pretty simple but clean. The whole place is very clean

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr guten Frühstück. Es gibt hier zwei verschieden Zimmertypen, nämlich mit und ohne Fenster. Hier muss man beim buchen aufpassen. Die Fenster lassen sich aber auch nicht öffnen, was aber nicht so schlimm war, da eine sehr gute Luftzirkulation da war. Zimmer sind sehr modern gehalten. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt.

Great hotel, fantastic location. Staff that go above and beyond to help - what’s not to like. Rooms a little on the small side but that’s to be expected in a metro hotel. I’m not a big breakfast person but available food looked good and I could get a coffee and pastry to start my day.

Have found the Scandic brand is consistently nice, and this place is no different. We arrived very early in the day and Olga was welcoming and efficient, and got us into our room immediately! Nice large room, and the rooftop deck and bar provides incredible drinks and a 360 view. Thank you!

Even though there was one weird thing I need to give 5 out of 5 cause it’s a good hotel. The food is good, the stuff is helpful, the design of rooms is pretty and useful (I would just add fridges in rooms cause there aren’t any). But in my room at 5:20am I was woken up by an automatic window curtain going down by itself. I don’t know if that a bug or a feature but I did not like that.

Two stars for the friendly staff and the location (central, very well connected to public transportation), but hard to recommend especially to families. Minus one star for the level of noise and lack of attention: we are a family with two kids (4 years and 9 months) and we got the room 941, above the sky bar. I share the blame as I haven’t filled a complaint after our first night here (Wednesday) after this the noise only gradually grew, reaching a impossible level tonight (Saturday, our last night) when I write the review, if I would be without kids I would change rooms now. Minus one star for the comfort of the rooms: the bed mattresses could use an update, they are old, uncomfortable and move easily, we need to push them in their place each evening. Also lack of storage space makes the room messy and hard to clean. Minus one star for the breakfast: poor in choices and quality, I was very disappointed to have to eat in a conference room.

I stayed here on my trip to Stockholm Aug 7-10. I really can’t say anything bad about the hotel. Everyone was friendly, the breakfast was phenomenal, and it’s a good location if you plan to walk or travel through the city.

You cannot beat the location. It is the most central hotel in Stockholm. There are other hotels nearby, but this hotel leads to the central station entrance directly. Also, it is comfortable, the staff are friendly, the wifi works very well, it has many meeting rooms and lounge areas to break out into fikas and the food and service at the main restaurant is excellent.

Nice place, interesting bedding and mattress setup that was new to us. Room is well designed very practical and sound proof. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Expensive place in comparison to other cities but location and facilities makes up for it.

Perfect location near to Central Station. Great breakfast. We had an inside room - nice and dark and quiet for sleeping. Could've done with better clothes storage - no drawers/cupboards. A few hangers but no room to hang clothes from them!

Lovely rooms in typical Scandic brand. Well styled and appointed, but unfortunately the walls and ceiling of my room were a bit thin. If you enjoy sharing others intimate moments then this won’t be a problem.😬

Superior twin room with a view of the church next door. This hotel is in a prime location, walking distance to most attractions, breakfast was great, the sun deck was nice. Would stay here again.

First time staying with Scandic Hotels and now I'll always look out for them in the future. Hotel location is perfect, max 10 min walk from Old Town, but also right outside Central Station. Ideal if you're getting the Arlanda express train from the airport (18 min journey). The hotel lobby is spacious and felt light and airy. Great cocktail bar with a view. A top terrace which allows you to see all the city. Breakfast had loads of choice and was tasty. Service at the hotel was brilliant.

I only attended a conference and didn't stay at the hotel. There were a few issues with the venue such as noisy ventilation in one of the rooms, but the food offered was excellent and the location is great.

Good location well within walking distance of the sights of Stockholm. Rooms and comfortable and theres a great selection at breakfast. Staff on reception were nice and the sundeck on floor 11 is well worth a visit for the views :)

How does this place only have a 4.2/5 rating? This hotel is amazing for the price. Super clean and modern. The breakfast is fantastic, something you'd pay $30 usd for outside of the hotel. The lobby is beautiful and a great place to work a little or meet colleagues and friends. Right in the middle of everything in downtown.

Good hotel, with great access to the train station. Rooms are surprisingly quiet, given the location in the center of the city. The rooms are modern, with some decor but still fairly plain. The beds were excellent and you have access to the room AC/temperature that cools or heats to your preference. Surprisingly good gym facilities that are available 24/7. The only drawback is the available seating at breakfast, which is extremely limited considering a hotel of this size. I felt "rushed" to eat my breakfast as fast as possible and leave, as they wanted the table cleared for new guests. So not a hotel I would recommend for families with children or if you want to enjoy a long calm breakfast in peace.

The evening was spoiled by the fact that the bartender refused to serve me. He explained this by saying that I was drunk, although I did not drink alcohol at all that day and I did not have any signs of intoxication. I sincerely could not understand what his decision was based on and did not receive any arguments in response.I am a regular customer of this skybar and I have always had positive reviews, but now my opinion has changed dramatically.

A good hotel in a great location, just over the road from Stockholm Central train station and a 15 minute walk from Gamla Stan (The Old Town). Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We've stayed twice and the standard twin rooms are comfortable with plenty of room and an excellent bathroom/shower room. The buffet breakfast is great with a huge choice, literally too much to list but everything I can think of is there and you can go back as many times as you like. The hotel has a really good 'roof top' bar (that isn't on the roof but still offers great views over the water to Sodermalm) and a higher level sun deck with even better views. Even though it's a 'chain' hotel and has no oldy worldly charm the ONLY thing stopping this hotel from getting 5 stars was when we went down for breakfast one morning. For some reason when we gave our room number they told us we had to share a table with strangers or go upstairs to the overspill breakfast area. I 'politely declined' to do either and lo and behold they immediately found us our own table about 20ft away. A very good hotel but as with anywhere in Stockholm be warned...prices for drinks in the ground floor bar or the 'rooftop' are expensive

Great hotel directly across from the central train station with a lovely view of the City Hall. Very convenient to head anywhere. Room was spacious and well decorated. Staff were excellent all around. Very happy with my stay!

Really nice hotel and great location. It's on top of the central subway station, next to the central rail and bus station and next to the airport express train (Arlanda express). Room was nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok but the location makes up for that. Despite 4 elevators it was hard to get to breakfast during the the more popular time during the weekend but again location is making up for that!

My husband and I stayed for 4 days in October and absolutely loved this hotel! It's so stylish but at the same time is very cozy. The beds are so comfortable! The breakfast is amazing, it's a buffet with so many choices. My favorite were crapes. The hotel is located right next to Central Station, just a few steps away from the express train to airport. Super convenient! Bar on the 8th floor has a rooftop terrace with heaters. We spent a great evening there watching the sunset and drinking delicious cocktails. We already booked our stay at the same hotel on the way back to States.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The best thing about it is the location. You exit the subway at the central station and the hotel is right around the corner. Also, 15-min walk to the old town. Also a nice sky bar at the top with a good view.

Very nice hotel but not really up there with the best. But it shouldn't as it is not ranked 5 star. Very clean and fresh. Breakfast buffet was nice. Bread was finished when we came so had to take a left over piece that was a tad hard. Didn't have time to wait for new bread. Shouldn't have to wait though. A high standard hotel should never let things finish. Overall a nice hotel that I can recommend.

Central located hotel. Super nice sky bar, but the breakfast could be better and the hotel service staff could do better - my room was cold and they gave me two pieces of chocolate. Check-in also takes a long time, for reasons that are unknown

Perfectly situated across from the central train station. There is an entry / exit point right next door so you don’t even have to cross the road. The Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite nice and the rooms are quite modern, although a little small. We had breakfast included which was ok. My only complaint would be the breakfast staff, they were extremely rude when greeting us every morning. Even as much as telling us to basically leave 2 minutes before breakfast time had ended. I think they should re evaluate the front end staff at their breakfast.

Clean hotel. For a queen bed, it was two singles pushed together and they separated throughout the night. Small rooms without much space to navigate with luggage around. More fun to be outside exploring the city anyway. Breakfast was tasty, lots of options! Rooftop bar (not in the roof really) was nice place to hang out and watch the moon rise at 11pm.

Great Rooms with high ceiling, great location within the city centre with immediate access to the Metro (T-Bana) right below the Hotel building (not easy to find such hotels with such a convenient location).. The hotel is 100 metres away from Stockholm downtown.. Great conference rooms ensuring no distraction for large meetings as well.. Multipe restaurants on prem and large seating area lounge at the reception area is so welcoming..

We stayed there for 3 nights. As it is directly next to the main train station, it has the perfect location for a short city trip to Stockholm. The view in the evening from the sun deck or the roof top bar is great. The breakfast offers a lot of varieties. The rooms are calm but could be a little bit bigger.

We stayed for a week during our August trip to Stockholm (couple + toddler). Location can't be beat, public transport literally across the street or a few minutes walk from the hotel, as well as a supermarket, many restaurants and places to have a drink or fika. Service was excellent from the check in. Very friendly and accommodating staff, requests were immediately taken care of. The food at breakfast was fresh and pretty versatile, something for everyone. The bar seemed nice though we only had drinks. We received some water in a refillable bottle and complementary chocolate because of our long stay. The hotel strives to be green and will clean your room upon request only, though during our stay the room was made up, towels refreshed and garbage taken out every two days or so, without our asking. We checked out at 3am because of an early flight, a plentiful tray of food waited for us by the check out desk to make and take breakfast with us to the airport, which was lovely and very helpful. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend staying here. Only down side was the lack of air-conditioning in August, but this seems to be the norm in Stockholm.

Subtracting three of five stars for the following reasons: - Rooms without windows - Poor soundproofing between rooms. You hear everything that is going on with your neighbours… - Long queue and waiting time to get seated for breakfast. The restaurant area is simply not sized for the number of guests - Rooms poorly equipped, for instance no USB outlets, and no wardrobe to hang/store your clothes - Not sufficient elevator capacity I have stayed at the hotel twice both in low and mid season.

They gave me a disability room, was like being in a hospital. No alternative. This is not what was advertised. They only clean the room if requested. I arrived after 11 which was the cut off time to request a clean and I wasn’t informed. How is this saving the environment? This is saving them money. Absurd

Excellent location and clean minimalist rooms that were clean and comfortable. This hotel is excellent value for its amenities and price and the staff were helpful and efficient. Breakfast offering was excellent and there are great views from the roof terrace for later in the day too.
