Very nice Mexican restaurant. I want to add that the service provided was very good. Considering I was a vegetarian, I was suggested some good dishes by the staff. Tacos were really good. Tortilla chips were excellent. Devil sauce was the surprising element bringing in real spicy flavour.

Okay so I’ve been here two times now and I’m sorry but the food just isn’t up to par. The only fantastic thing on the menu is the guacamole and the Mexican stew (which was a specialty of the day). The tortilla chips aren’t good. The tacos are not good and I’ve tried 3 out of 4. Most people make tastier tacos at home. The quesadillas are not quesadillas, they’re tacos. Still not good. The sangria was terrible but the Spicy Margarita was great. The beer is too expensive. The atmosphere is nice but the staff seem super stressed and they forget stuff you ask for. Stressful environment. It’s really just not worth it overall. I really wanted to like this place but I can’t. I appreciate the Mexican music and the dogs though. But yeah, I’m sorry. Go somewhere else.

Very good Mexican restaurant, with the atmosphere that goes along. Tried the fish tacos, which were packed with flavor. Good cocktails as well. Service is fast and friendly.

Loved coming here. The owners who are family are so kind and sweet. The food is absolutely incredible. I had the Guac and chips it’s incredibly fresh. Then for main I had the beer batter tacos and it was top 3 best tacos I’ve ever had. Also I drank the ginger beer. It was so good! Defiantly a top place in Stockholm. 😍😍

Update July 2023: The third time being here, the fish and pork tacos remained the same quality as before. The chorizo quesadilla was really nice, the fresh veggies neutralized the greasiness of the sausage. First review March 2023: Been here twice already. Their dishes are overall above average, and the fish tacos are outstanding. Eat the fish tacos right after they got served, and you will taste the ultimate crunchiness and tenderness combo. The seasonings brought up the fish’s umami, and the tortilla bread was soft and warm with the scent of wheat and corn. The vegetarian quesadilla were under seasoned though, the veggies flavors got covered up instead of being complimented by the seasonings. The pork tacos were a bit too greasy and some pieces of pork skin were too hard to chew.

Incredible experience! The food was amazing, drinks great and the service impeccable. Really appreciate the help of the waiter and his recommendations, his patience and efficiency. Would definitely recommend 👌 🌮🍹

OMG!!! I’m so in love with this restaurant! As a Mexican I can say this is an authentic Mexican restaurant with all the real flavors from Mexico… cocktails, food, service, place, everything! is sooooo good! After trying a lot of Mexican restaurants I finally found my favorite 🤩

So deliciously authentic ! Lovely staff, lovely food, and for once a SPICY hotsauce (coming from an indian). Vegan choices on the menu too!

We love Chelas! This is our favourite Mexican restaurant in Stockholm as it has a delicious, diverse menu and great drinks for a good price. The service is also fantastic 🌟 It’s a haven for gluten free diners, with majority of the menu being gluten free 😍 We like to start with wine and snacks at their sister wine bar, Tocayo, then cross the street and finish the evening with authentic Mexican food at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying both Tocayo and Chelas for your next date night! 😀

Excellent food and very friendly staff. It was a surprise to find such a good Mexican restaurant in Stockholm. The food is more traditional rather than Tex Mex. I will certainly return.

This place ROCKS! We’ve been meaning to go and finally made it today and it lived up to the hype. Awesome service as the staff was very friendly, helpful, generous and made our dining experience wonderful! The food was so good and we can’t wait to go back and enjoy a margarita and some other dishes. We had the Birria Chilaquiles and the special tacos. The Birria Chilaquiles were so flavorful and the homemade chips were a perfect crunch, size and flavor! The Tacos de Tuetano were PACKED with flavors and super tasty! Super yummm Mexican food. Open tacos were so nice and so were the other things. They have good space sitting outside and inside. Cocktails were nice too

Very good tacos, will definitely come here again. Highly recommend the bone marrow tacos, comes with a Smokey mezcal salsa. Only thing we had that was a bit subpar were the churros. Texture was a bit stale, like it was reheated and not freshly fried or something. But the flavors were excellent. Service was friendly and informative. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing vegetarian friendly Mexican with tast coctails. A must when visiting Stockholm. Can't rave it enough.

Did not know I could get Mexican food this good in Europe let alone Stockholm. The bone marrow tacos was fantastic and highly recommend the cocktails. Definitely a Swedish gem.

The best Mexican in Stockholm! The food is sooo good. The service is incredible and the majority speaks Spanish, so authentic! Today is was warm, we sat outside and we felt like in a Mexican restaurant in NYC (the location, the diversity of the customers). Great vibes. Just love it!

Never tried Mexican food before, so it’s good, but not enough. I guess it is because I don’t speak Mexican food, but very cozy place and nice staff.

Great restaurant! Delicious food and drinks and nice atmosphere. The prices were also reasonable.

Had the carnitas and a refried bean taco. Carnitas were a bit dry but good in flavor. Bean taco was good. Extremely small amount of food for the price, so don't expect to be full if you're bigger. Staff were kind of drawn back. Not rude just not very engaged. Don't mind that personally, but a lot of people will react to that.

The food is super delicious and tasty, I just would love bigger portions 🥲 The staff is very nice 🙌🏻 I love that you can book your table in advance.

I love going here for drinks, light food, dinner, and brunch. Their micheladas are always authentic, their food is great, and the brunch menu especially is wonderful! The staff are always very nice and efficient. The food is a bit pricey but I'd say it's well worth it for the quality you get. And if you're into cocktails, they have a pretty nice espresso martini.

Best Mexican in Stockholm...by far Super nice environment, friendly and helpful staff and the bone marrow tacos were incredible. The guacamole was surprisingly good , given there is no good avocados in Stockholm

A bit overhyped but nice Mexican place in Stockholm. I don’t quite understand why guacamole + tortilla chips cost more than a taco, but I guess those avocados travelled a long way here… but if you’re craving Mexican food in Sweden that’s a good option for sure.

Another great and authentic mexican place You really can feel the difference in the quality and taste of the food. My only feedback would be to serve the michelada in a larger glass and served mixed. Since the glass cannot hold the sauces and the beer the last part of the beer kills the taste of the drink. Also it could represent a challenge for people that is not skilled serving drinks.

It has a cozy but somewhat hectic atmosphere. The food is good. There is sadly a lack of vegetarian options, and no mix'n'match of dishes. They do have tasty Margaritas.
