The most authentic Persian restaurant in Stockholm. Great and consistent high quality of food but unfortunately the service level varies from time to time. Savory dishes, especially variations of kebabs, gold selection of starters and dessert (try the saffron ice cream!).

One of, if not the, best place for Persian cuisine in the Stockholm area. Personally, I would recommend you try to their grilled dishes (e.g. djodje, kobide) or maiche if you’re into slow cooked-food. Also, big plus for great vegetarian options!

Authentic Persian food with humble courteous stuff and great internal decor. Had Baghalipolo and Momtaz and both were delicious with the meat extremely tender and succulent.

From the moment I entered, I could smell the Mousir “Iranian Yogurt with Persian Shallot “ and Persian Rice patently. I was really gratified ☺️ It didn’t disappoint me though, the food met my expectations, beside the Marinated Olive took me back to its origin! It’s rare though. But it’s quite pricy beware! Overall: Pre course 5/5 Main course 4/5 just because I’ve tasted better Dessert 3/5 the Saffron Ice cream wasn’t original.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. We had the Kobideh and Djoje kabab, and they were outstanding. They serve them with fresh bread, which complements the flavors perfectly. The interior decoration creates a pleasant ambiance, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Enjoy your dining experience!

This restaurant is really amazing. The food are healthy and delicious. I really recommend to try all foods such as Gheyme stew, Ghorme stew, Kashke Bademjan, Joje kabab & Mirzaghasemi. They reminds me of main taste of Iranian food. While I had mirzaghasemi, I thought I were in Gilan province of Iran. Having kashkebademjan was great like it was made by professional Iranian chief. Polite and kind staff are there. U must go there soon.

Authentic Persian food experience and friendly staff. As a returning customer I recommend their unbeatable “Baghalipolo ba mahiche“ (Rice with Broad Beans and Lamb Shank). Why not 5 star? The ambiance needs some love, the music can be too loud sometimes and not suitable for dining.

Use to be the best Persian restaurant in Sweden and kinda famous for it but not anymore, the rice tasted odd (chemical ish) poorly packed wouldn’t go there unless they change the chef

Your average Persian place with alright food, lots of space and fast but impersonal service. Good for lunch if you want to eat fast.

Great place with great Persian food. A bit anonymous from the outside but the food really makes up for it.

Very pricy and diffently better Iranien food in Stockholm. Once best in the city, but now Vanak lives in the shadow of what it used to be. It's sad to see..

This restaurant is perfect. Great staff and atmosphere. Very delicious food especially gheyme and ghorme stew (khoresht), kashk bademjan, chicken barbecue (joje kabab) and mirzaghasemi. It was amazing. Totally worth the value. Try to test it certainly.

This restaurant is amazing specially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The food were perfect. Strongly suggest to try Gheyme stew, Ghorme stew, Kashke Bademjan, Joje kabab & Mirzaghasemi. Polite and kind staff. Great atmosphere. Must go there.

Best genuine Persian food in Sweden. There are a lot of other Persian restaurants in the city center, with menus which are more formed after Swedish palates. But this is where the real and genuine Persian food is served. Might not seem that special from outside, but inside is like walking in to Iran for an hour or two.

  • 5/5 Soheila G. 9 months ago on Google
The best restaurant in Stockholm. The food were delicious. Hardly suggest to try Gheyme stew, Ghorme sabzi stew, Kashke Bademjan, Joje kabab & Mirzaghasemi. Polite and kind staff. Great atmosphere. Must go there.

Super tasty kebab but the kobideh wasn't really good, dry and bland. Overall very nice place.

  • 5/5 Daniel H. 2 years ago on Google
Very delicious. The restaurant does not look like from outside, but it has a very good atmosphere on the inside. The food and service was also very good

Great persian food! I was sceptic at first to be honest, mostly because of the odd location and the appearance of the place.. But this is one of the best kobideh i have tried. The kabab is very juicy and tender.

We ordered kabab koobideh for main course and for starters We ordered mast moosir and bademjoon. For drinks we ordered doogh. The place wasn’t clean. The food wasn’t cooked properly and it was hard. The staff was very friendly and nice. The music was not good either. We decided not to order any dessert. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for a proper nice persian food.

Could be better, but they are definitely better than other Persian restaurants in Stockholm. Staffs are friendly, prices are almost normal. I tried Fesenjoon and I was quite happy.

  • 5/5 AFSHAD J. 1 year ago on Google
The very best of Persian cousine in Stockholm ! I would like to recommend the manager that it would be better with lower volume of the music and may be new classical Iranian music. But the meals are the best in Stockholm. No doubt!

Lovely staff, great venue, wonderful dishes. Just perfect.

  • 3/5 Prakhar A. 1 year ago on Google
Food - 3.5/5 Ambience - 2.5/5 Prices - 3/5 I would give it a 3-3.5. I don't understand why it has such a high rating as the food and the whole experience was average. I have been to better Persian restaurants. They should improve the food and ambience for the given prices.

Food was good, prices was reasonable. The staff was amazingly helpful, kind and welcoming. Would go back.

Good kobideh but I would like to get a better yoghurt with a soup perhaps, especially for the price it cost. Bread etc etc. But the meat and rice is really good

If you are in to persian cuisine this one is nice but a bit pricy.

Literally my first meal in Sweden and it didn’t not disappoint! Never had Persian food before and it was delicious. Our server Mehdi was super hospitable and helpful when we were ordering. Would recommend to everyone.

The food has been much better in previous visits, but it was horrible this time! Everything had so much salt it was impossible to eat!

As an Iranian myself i have high standards on Persian food. I’ve been to lots of Iranian restaurants and sadly this one disappointed. The food is okey nothing very delicious, pretty mediocre. Many years ago their food were soooo good but now they’ve pretty much downgraded everything there. If you want to visit plus experience fantastic and amazing Persian food maybe this one isn’t the greatest option..
