👍👍 Filipino food always has a special brightness about it - this place is no exception. The online ordering is simple and faultless, and their estimated wait times are generally spot on. I normally order takeaway for work lunches, and they've always been ready when I collect and handed over with a smi... People often mention Filipino, restaurant, full,

A Filipino restaurant with a large menu. I wish they only did some especially Filipino food instead of many different variations of common Asian items. Staff would benefit from some training. We weren't told which items weren't available until we ordered and the interactions were a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Filipino style dimsims and steamed dumplings were amazing. Has a lot of potential if the feedback is taken in.

Filipino food always has a special brightness about it - this place is no exception. The online ordering is simple and faultless, and their estimated wait times are generally spot on. I normally order takeaway for work lunches, and they've always been ready when I collect and handed over with a smile. My only constructive criticism is to perhaps incorporate more offal based dishes - your sisig is amazing, perhaps a dinuguan could make it on the menu one day?

We are visiting toowoomba and we went for a walk to see what was open. Spotted this new restaurant. We had never tried Filipino food before so was excited. We had the karan chicken small size. This crispy moist chicken was one of the best fried chicken I have ever had was full of flavour and well balanced. IF YOU LOVE FRIED CHICKEN ITS A MUST TRY! We also had a beef stew it was full of flavour the sock was well balanced could feel the garlic the beef it had green beans and cabbage with some corn. Was amazing can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. We have never had Filipino food before and it exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing. We ordered (and ate) far too much and not a bite was disappointing. Service was very friendly and dinner was good value for the amount we ordered. We can’t wait to go back to try other dishes (next time we will leave room for dessert).

Booked for 12 for a birthday party and arrived to a beautiful table with doilies and flowers. Ordered dishes for the group to share. Food arrived quickly, fresh cooked and was all devoured which means the toughest critics - the kids - loved it! Staff had friendly smiles and, provided candles and even played Happy birthday song. Fantastic and much appreciated. Price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend, thank you Karan-An.!!!!

Authentic Filipino food made with love! Service was great, food was so yummy and tasty. The owner was very humble doing the cooking cleaning and entertaining the customers. The price is very reasonable too. It is definitely a must try.

Came here for dinner and was not disappointed, very different and unique foods to try. Me and the other people I was with all got the buffet so we could try heaps of different things, price was quite reasonable and you definitely are full by the end of it. You start with the appetisers then get a pallet cleanser, after that you get your mains then desert. All very different and delicious flavors. The venue is quite small but we fit pretty well it is a boutique after all. Service was great but the food came out quite slow, but there's not too much you can do about that, I'm not one to be too judgemental about how fast food comes out because I know how hard it is to prepare something you really care about. Overall was a great experience and food was excellent.

Great modern restaurant ambience, clean, excellent lighting, huge variety dishes on offer. There is an alfresco dining also available First time to visit this restaurant. The food was definitely bang on. Full of flavour. We definitely enjoyed all the dishes. We had massaman beef, crispy pork leg, pork adobo, pork bicol express, fried fish 🐟 with chilli and garlic, pork BBQ skewers.

Best real Filipino food. Very affordable. A must try for Aussie’s looking for a new flavour. Sinigang is a sour soup meat and vegetable dish. Great for the cool weather.

Extremely disappointing meal. The worst Chicken Cashew I've had. The take away container was a little more then half full,. Paying $18.50 I thought it should be over full. The staff gave me a wooden tea spoon, I had to go back and ask for a fork. Ended up throwing the meal away and going elsewhere for a decent meal.

Locals know. . . This place really delivers on flavours with many stunning options. The food is just beautiful and I would recommend locals, and visitors alike visit this space. Wether you can visit a few times, or just once it’s worth it. The family that owns and runs this place are kind and generous, not to mention fantastic cooks! I love the Sisig (not everyone’s style, but I would recommend regardless), the litson kawali and massamun are lovely, I find it hard to say no to the whole fish or adobo. I have had more than pictured, but these are some of my faves. Thank you for being essential in the community, Karan-An brings something beautiful to this region and Toowoomba is lucky to have you.

Food was pretty good for the Price. Their "2 person table" are obviously too small for 3 plates and 2 glasses. The one we got was even shaking, try slip a piece of cardboard to make the legs even. Do consider setting up more tables and heaters outdoor like Sofra if you want to expand your business.

If you are after a superb quality Filipino food, I highly recommend Karan-an as the go-to place. Ranging from Filipino-based breakfast on weekends to Kamayan catering, Raphael is highly capable of providing both services in a spectacular manner and is definitely a must try for people that are looking to extend their palates with Southeast Asian cuisine. Otherwise, you can always just go there for affordable lunch bowls which is almost too good for its price point. Dishes always meet both quality and quantity for its price point, and you will most likely leave the place full every time. Customer service and wait times are relatively lacklustre on a given time, but the food does make up for it.

The best Filipino food that we have tasted in Australia. Friendly and Happy service and crew. It's a small restaurant but tastefully decorated so that you feel comfortable and it feels like home. Highly recommended !
