    1st this review is not for the men on the truck!! They have ALWAYS been great!!  This review is on the company....we live in clearwater FL service pickup is mon/Thurs with weds recycle....recycle ALWAYS shows up....the regular garbage pickup is hit or miss....They reschedule and either send us a message mid day or we hear nothing at all...we live in florida it's 90+ daily and you have us leave our garbage out for days at a time without notifying us?  Then I call to cancel because they are habitually late and non-communitive I get told that I am paid until November they can cancel it then...you don't even show up when you say you are?  After telling them I want a refund for Sept Oct Nov she say ok but there's a 75.00 fee for us to come pick up our containers.  My response was: I am cancelling because you are not providing me the service you said you would I am not paying 75.00 for you to come get YOUR containers especially when you don't show up on time!!! So today is my pickup (thursday) and I was told they would come pick up the containers and I would be refunded...and of course today they rescheduled for tomorrow 🤦🏽‍♀️

    Highly do not recommend you'll have problems everytime you renew they send a late fee before the bill comes. Takes at least 5 or more phone calls to get fixed. Don't pick trash up. they say someone is on the way. Never show call everyday same story till the actual pick up day comes around again. At a point was almost on a first name basis with the the operator.

    Very poor customer service. Late and missed pick ups for both trash and recycle. Also, now they are not emptying your whole trash can. They pick and choose what bags they want to pull out. Not reliable but yet are the most expensive company in my service area. They charge extra for quarterly paper statements and will continue to charge you unless you set up automatic billing from a credit card or bank account. They just recently increased their bill by 15% but yet have missed more pick ups in the last several months. No discounts if pick ups are missed. Customer service constantly gives different information out. Supervisors who say they will help you do not get back with you. I was told recycle is just a courtesy and if they don't have the staff they will not pick it up that week. Long wait times on hold for a supv., over 2 hours some days. They charge Non refundable can deposits and they will charge you $75/can to pick up your cans if you choose to cancel your service without contracts. I had asked before about can pick up charges and I was told there was none but now they said there is. $150/2cans. Do your homework if you have a choice on trash/recycle providers.

    Missed pickups and would not even respond to my requests for pickups they missed. They would cancel service at the last minute and tell you they will pick your stuff up in a week. It was absurd! The price was also constantly going up. They charge you an additional fee if you do not do autopay. There are much better companies to choose from that are cheaper, have better quality service, and are actually reliable.

    Bad service take money every 3 months but service really bad take money very fast call for service waste time 30m contact for service take trash every Tuesday I just see first week after 2 weeks they take trash for my house 👎 BAD SERVICE 👎

    Our development has been using Waste Management for sometime now and they did a great job. However the city of Largo is making us change and telling us we have to use their garbage pickup service. Since Waste Management was notified of that the service has gone down hill. The truck fly's past the house and the worker on the back of the truck tries to grab out garbage bag and garbage has fallen out of it on to the road and they just left it. We have a 15 MPH speed limit but after the truck makes the run down around our area he runs back up our street as fast as he can. I pray that no one is backing out of their drive way and that everyone is looking before they move out on to the road. I definitely cannot recommend a company that allows their employees to operate like that. It is a shame because they were so good up to that point

    I liked (past tense) WM because the prices were fine. But I feel like now each time I receive a bill, it gets more expensive. And the containers are not sturdy-they break. I’d be happier if they would lower costs a bit. That is all!!!

    Paid for the first the months of service and didn't get a sickle yeah pick-up for over 3 weeks, effectively getting scammed it if 1/3 of the service I paid for

    If you were in need of a reliable, prompt residential trash pickup company this is the way to go. I've been through about five other different companies that would never come on scheduled to pick up days. I've had the service for at least 6 months and have not had an issue. I even forgot to put my trash out last week and they came within a couple hours and picked up as a courtesy!

    First of all it's ridiculous that there isn't a phone number ANYWHERE on the site, emails sent out, billing statements, support pages, etc. So, I used the chat function and talked with "Michael", who responded to my questions with "Sorry, we don't provide that service in your area." Before I could finish typing out anything else to try and get any kind of resolution to my issue- which has resulted in me switching trash/recycling companies- he typed that he had to go help other customers and for me to have a nice day. He didn't ask if I had more questions or if there was something else he could help with- he essentially told me he had other customers to help and my issue didn't matter anymore. I have NEVER had that happen- to say I was thoroughly appalled and am still shocked is an understatement. I had asked to pay for an additional day of service, and/or to pay for an additional container, and was treated like dirt.

    Hasn’t picked up my garbage in 3 weeks . Constantly told it’s going to be picked up and it never is. Stay away from this company. They are the very very worst. Waste pro is lower price going there now. Update, you have to call and wait 30 minutes at least to cancel the service. So glad I called West pro Who picked up the phone immediately And got the service for half the price as waste management. WM should not be in business.

    We have been with waste management for a long time. Pick up has always been prompt. We also feel it is worth using a company we believe treats their employees and the environment well.

    Got off to a rocky start due to moving into a house being maintained by a law firm that doesn't like to communicate. Since I was not the homeowner or account holder and didn't have the account number, I had no authority. That and it turned out that the driver team had the wrong address in their computer. I was extremely dissatisfied. Raoul from corporate called me about the issue and kept following up. Pickup was hit or miss, but he always followed up. The system apparently is not designed to figure out all the strange complexities of my situation. I took that into consideration when that account ran out and I had to start my own. I decided to give WM the benefit of the doubt because of Raoul's attentiveness. Without that, this whole thing would have ended on terrible terms. Going with 4 stars for Raoul and the pickup team too. Real cool guys. I'm anticipating getting good service now that everything is normal.

    The worst. Called several times and waited on hold forever attempting to cancel service. Waste Management makes it virtually mpossible to cancel. They also left an old box spring which I lconveniently leaned against the mail box. It was flat in the middle of my side walk when I came home from work. Totally disappointed!

    If it was allowed to give ZERO star, that would be my choice! NEVER ever I will use this company again! I needed to stop the service, since I don't live at the address anymore, and they charge me for another three months! I called at the beginning of February for cancelling the service... the service is still on and I cannot get rid of them!

    After hurricane Ian winds took down 2 trees in our backyard, we had 4 trash bins and 6 full construction trash bags, full of leaves, twigs and yard debris. We set it in our pickup location and it was gone the next day even though it wasn’t our service day. We appreciate it very much!

    You regularly miss pick up days without notice or compensation. As we prepped our home for Hurricane Ian we had a can full of waste, out and ready for pick up 2 days prior to the storm. The day of pickup we received an email around 330 stating it would not be collected. This is not only inconvenient but dangerous. Riding the community of debris prior to a wind event like this storm is a safety precaution that is absolutely needed. This company seems to think customer and community needs don't matter. When a phone call was placed after the emergency your staff was rude to put it nicely and stated that they may pick up the waste today (late pick up day) or it may be some time next week. This is unacceptable. Will a refund for the missed days be issued? I doubt it, it never has before. Will they extend our service for a month? Defiantly not. Luckily I have the option to chose another provider which i will do, but until then I guess I am stuck with dirty diapers and storm debris. Thanks.

    Do not use this company. They have poor customer service. I had to call every week for three months to come pick up my recycles. I finally said come pick up the bin as I will no longer recycle. At least once a quarter they’d forget to pick up my trash. What’s crazy is my house is the very first house in the neighborhood?!?! It’s worth using another company no matter the cost. This company needs new an overhaul from the top down. Now that I’m moving I’ve called on my third call now as Monica basically hung up on me… asking to pick up the container. They want to charge me $75 to pick up THEIR container !!!??? They want your business but do not want to assist you when you are moving👎🏻. Again, POOR customer service. I would NOT recommend their services at all!

    I have been trying for the last month to add a second pickup to my weekly pickups, but every time i have tried they have told me it has been added and it has never been picked up. Yesterday i was on the phone for an hour and 20 minutes and wasnt able to get ahold of anyone. Trying again today. I strongly recommend DO NOT go with WM as your trash pickup. Havent had any conversations with the drivers, more of the behind the scenes workers on the phones and chat that have been incompetent. Last time on the phone i spoke with Manny and he assured me everything was going to be ok and has yet to been picked up on a tuesday as requested.

    Trash gets taken on time but the bill is outrageous. I've been quoted nearly half for the same exact service by two other reputable companies in the area. Will be changing soon.
