This school haunts me over 10 years later. I was a 14 year old boy with anxiety and depression. My parents were not told the truth about what this school actually was. I would say it's a small step up from a juvenile delinquent center. It is saddening to witness that this school uses public funds but does not serve the public at all because it disrespects normal, individual differences among students. If your child actually asks questions, free-spirited, creative and cannot sit 8:30 am-5 pm, this place is not for you. I am sure that are good teachers but most think teaching is the same as disciplining. They appreciate compliance and obedience more than thinking and learning

I mean school is school. I dont recommend using Google reviews to judge the school but to each their own. Its a demanding school and makes a good attempt at trying to use a different system then most schools which is cool. However it becomes very challenging and although it leads to universities later down the line, its a stressful journey with not every staff member there to help you. I believe its best to see for yourself because I think that (most of) the students here grow to be kind and overworked.

This is a review about Junior Campus Primary school which is the part of the international school. Junior Campus Primary school rejected my child because it doesnt come from a Dutch family. But later I heard from an insider that they accepted a child from a German family with both parents germans!. What is this? Discrimination? Bribery? Double standards? Is the skin of my child not enough white? I have no explanation, but presume that one of this reasons for sure.

I am really sorry to hear of your experience Count Bleck. Sadly our daughter's was the same. We encouraged her to report those perisitently ridiculing her and were told it was, 'All in her imagination.' I find the school's motto of, 'Learning Through Diversity,' ironic since they consistently fail to recognise diversity in any form other than nationality. There appears to be no differentiation in meeting individual student's needs. We were told the problem was entirely our daughter's and that the only option was to dismiss her and send her to Dutch school. We can cite numerous people who have had similar experiences. I would not recommend this school to anyone. (My one star is for Homework Class which was excellent.)

I think most of these reviews show quite a lot of entitlement. This school is most likely the best (easily) acessable international schools in the Netherlands. Yes, the ib system can be a bit flawed as everyone comes from different learning backgrounds, and we all learn at a different pace, but this is why we are able to get different resources such as asm. This school does not have a bad community, and there are all sorts of different people. Safe to say to not trust Google reviews. If you are looking at this school, you should go to an open day instead of trusting this. See for yourself if this school is a good fit for your child.

My daughter came home every day crying because apparently she was bullied. I E-mailed the school myself and to no surprise they said they could not do anything about it without the students name. I told my daughter to try and get the bully's name and she did. I believe he is in year 12 and his full name is Siddharth Malhotra. Please do something about this student.

it's been a few years since i left this school. Quite truthfully I hated every moment of it, all they care about is churning out robots rather than students that think for themselves which is incredibly detrimental to mental health, this was the biggest problem I had with it. When i asked for help i was just told that it was all my fault and that i'd never be good enough and even got threatened to be thrown out just because I wasn't like everyone else. Wouldn't recommend this prison to anyone. The one star is for the homework class, they were absolutely phenomenal.

Beware parents! Our son attended for 3 years through grade 10. He wanted to take courses in DP that would put him on track for engineering at Delft. ISH refused and said he wasn’t good enough. They would only allow him language and geography. We brought him back to US for his last 2 years. He has scored in 95th percentile for ACT and SAT, has received straight A’s in AP Physics and AP Calculus and has been accepted to the Honors engineering program at his top choice university here in the States. He did not find his academic stride right away, but ISH was set to write him off almost immediately.

Current student here. The school advertises caring about the students mental health but honestly is very obvious that they don't. Every time me or one of my friends has tried to criticise they have shut us down, or called us "too aggressive", even though they say they want to help. The system is horrible, and a majority of the subjects is writing and reflecting, and it becomes a pain the more you do it. The ATL skills from the IB are constantly pushed on us and it makes it horrible to use them at all. There's no music department, and the drama department is frankly a joke. The summer play was enjoyable but some of it's directing ideas were horrible. Some of the only good parts in this school are nice teachers. Please don't send kids here it's not worth it.

My experience in this school was very stressful and I was often depressed. The system of this school is just terrible. Each school year, you get more 2 subjects to study. From this, you get a lot of amount of work. I often got 5 summative tasks in a week which is a lot of work for students. Imagine getting three 1000 words essay task when you have to study for two tests. This just doesn't make any sense. Even we complain about the workload, the teachers don't even care about it. I remember my mentor said to split time and use wisely. I really couldn't believe what she said. If you don't want any of your children to suffer, then please find a different place.

The school is delightful and a rather nice place, however lots of the time even lower years will feel extremely stressed, and much of the tasks are put into a single week or 2, not even as exams. Overall the school is an IB and that is to be expected but it isn't the perfect utopia. It is a nice school. If there is one thing to complain about, it was my Social Studies teacher. I barely passed that year because of it on my first year. It was extremely annoying because I used to be passionate about it. I feel many teachers tried to help and were kind with me, but there is a learning curve when joining this school.

This school is simply amazing. Most of the teachers are great, the kids are pretty good, and they actually teach stuff that you'll use. Tho I wouldn't be looking at google reviews to see if it's good. Like seriously
