Usually I don't rate. But after two shopping experiences here, I feel goods here are overpriced and have low quality. The headphone jack connector needs to curve to a specific angle to work functionally. Another thing is a paper binder which has cracks after a few times use.

This dollar store has the best selection of Halloween costumes (and many other items) in the city. Most of the costume shops in Vancouver get picked over, but Al keeps it well stocked. You could roll in there with no ideas the night before Halloween and walk out with 10+ great costumes. This applies to other holidays too. Highly recommended!

Good people, friendly. Pretty good selection of things, but most things are very steep in price. Good if you're in a pinch for something but if you're getting lots, you'll want to go to a cheaper dollar store

This is hands down the most organized dollar store with so many great quality products. Party supples, costumes, art supplies, and so much storage and kitchen items. Worth the trip to UBC. I have shopped here with my children for 15 years and the owner and staff are incredibly helpful and super nice.

Hi guys, I came here to drop off 2 UPS packages. These guys claim to be a UPS Access Point location but the owner and his rude wife would not take my return packages because they were not taped. The tape was sitting on the counter in front of them and they acted as if they had no idea what that was. I have taken untaped boxes every time and the staff always has no problem taping it as this is part of the process to attach the labels. These guys are just trying to squeeze extra money from people who didn’t tape the box. I would not recommend anyone drop off packages here as the customer service is appalling. I will contact UPS head office about this issue. All in all avoid this location. Long lines and rude towards UPS drop offs.

The owners are very kind. I see them always greeting everyone. I found nice toys and accessories for my toddler in this store.
