This place is always an experience! Family went to have a Beautiful Holiday Lunch. My sister and I got a sampler wine taste. 20 bucks for 4 GENEROUS glasses to drink! Let me say I had a buzz going before we ordered food!! They have such a variety of food!! Yes a bit expensive bit so so so delicious! A great spot for a date night! We decided to eat outside. We just ordered and as we sat down 2 waiters were already serving water bread and butter. We had our food within 10 to 15 mins. We ordered an ahi tuna salad, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi pasta, lamb chops, pastrami sandwich, calamari with fries, lasagna!! It was so delicious! We got some fresh bread and butter and a salami cheese and cracker platter! Our server was so attentive, our family of 13 was waited on hand and foot. What a day filled with memories laughs drinks great conversation, and wine!!! A must try!

Wonderful experience and enchanting winery in Los Angeles, CA. My first visit and I was impressed with the selection of wines and professional staff with knowledge of products. Also, restaurants are a must experience while visiting. The food was great, prices maybe considerable high for some, but the experience and atmosphere is an added value for the cost. I will definitely be visiting again. Please don't make any changes to your service or products. Thank you!

This is my wine happy place. Awesome selection, wonderfully food and the friendliest staff. We went on a Saturday about 6pm, pleasantly surprised there was no waiting for dinner. Oh, the guided tour of the indoor winery was a nice experience. Very informative and not too long.

One of the BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN LA! Now that I've shared that if you're reading my reviews you have to trust me on this one. Go here and you won't be disappointed. If you enjoy good food and wine with a mature atmosphere this is THE place to go. Today I had a chicken tarragon sandwich. Delicious.

The building is nice and clean, the food is open kitchen with cafeteria style serving. Good selection of meals. The food lacks taste and proper temperature. Servings are good and table service is good too. Live music was nice. This is not Temecula level winery or food.

β€œGood company. Good wine. Good welcome. Make good people.” This is written on the dining hall wall as one of their mottos. Such a great experience, delicious food, tremendous ambiance and superb service (Armando). We will be back for sure, bringing more friends along to enjoy our next visit. And spend a longer time at the wine shop!!! Thank you San Antonio Winery and Maddalena Restaurant for an unforgettable experience…

Great place to come eat, drink and buy. The food is delicious and wine is tasty. Best part, it's located just a few minutes from DTLA.

San Antonio winery is awesome. One of my favorite LA go-to destinations. Kathy and the gang are amazing and the customer service cannot be matched. Every time we visit it they give us a feeling that we're at home. I love working with Hector and Tom at the wine bar. I never leave with less than a case. I'm an organizer and my groups beg for me to make San Antonio winery a part of their tour.

Lovely place to have a romantic dinner or celebrate a special occasion. The menu is limited but the options are delicious. They are known for Stella Rose wines.. so you can imagine they have every flavor known plus gift sets. Their wine shop is full of exquisite and extravagant bottles. Sitting outside and enjoying California's sun rays is a bonus on any day.

There was an automatic 20% gratuity charged on top of the high prices. The service was poor and certainly not worthy of 20%. The hostess treated us like peasants, unwelcome and belittle us. They strangely made several attempts to refer us to the restaurant next door. They said their restaurant was packed when really it was only partial used. Rude. Owner, if business is bad, you may want to evaluate these ladies. They refused to let us put our gifts at a table and burden us with our heavy load. Are we homeless? Did we eat without paying? Is there no other nearby restaurant that charges less for comparable entree? Sorry but we will NOT pick your venue again. Without customers means no business.

I had an incredible experience yesterday at the winery. It was my first visit and I lived in San Antonio. It reminded me of my visits to the Hill Country there where they had the wineries. The food was incredible. The ambience combined with the music was simply fabulous. The service was five star Michelin. I am so happy that my adopted mother brought me there, and I was so honored to take her to dinner. Thank you, Professor La Della, Lyn, Levy MA, M.Ed

Amazing! We came here as part of a tour group. The service was top notch, amazing, with every need attended to. After the meal we visited the giftshop and the owners son, Santo, saw us wondering around and helped us personally pick out wines that we enjoyed with our meal. Wonderful location but off the beaten path. Well worth the trip!

To help celebrate my future mother-in-law's birthday, the gang got together and met for an early dinner at the San Antonio Winery. For my first time here, I was mesmerized by the excellent selection of food and wine.... None wine beverages... And even none wine but still adult beverages. The staff was very friendly, the food was magnificent and the live entertainment helped to put a cap on the birthday celebration. Definitely will be returning to this known but hidden gem.

This wonderful treasure just outside of downtown Los Angeles is a MUST SEE! However, I wish I had stayed in the tasting room. The restaurant is well intentioned (based on the prices). The staff was charming, but if I'm spending close to $250, I'M NOT EATING OFF MY GRANDMA'S FOLDING CARD TABLE! * See photo The busboy said, "The round tables are for parties of eight." Talk about cutting one's nose to spite one's face. Details matter! Clearly, no one graduated with a degree in hospitality. Note: Shoving feathers up your a** doesn't make you a chicken. If you wanna charge like Beverly Hills, act like Beverly Hills.

I’ve heard so many good things about SAW through the years, and I decided to host my bridal shower there. It was everything I expected and more! Bridget and Sherrie were amazing throughout the entire planning process and during the event. Everyone enjoyed all of the food and wine. I highly recommend hosting your event at SAW. It was beautiful, and I had an amazing time!

I will look forward to returning here next time I'm in LA! Such a welcoming and excellent winery. So many great wines to try and the food I ate while dining there was great. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who offered me a glass of wine on the house as I shopped. It was unexpected but very appreciated. It solidifies for me that this company values customer service and going above and beyond rather than just making a sale. I bought three wines and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I wish I had more time to spend hanging out and enjoying the atmosphere. Until next time!

Filet mignon stir fry was delicious. It has a choice of spicy or not. I got the spicy and it was not too hot. The small bowl in the distance is lobster ravioli. It was perfect as always.

This place was a good place for lunch/dinner but has NOW became chaotic. They serve you your wine in a plastic pitcher to keep bottle warm and water in a small plastic cup. What is happening here???? This place is falling apart. It use to be full of people and now is dead. New management (Kathy & Jennifer) have made some bad choices in managing this place. Who serves water in plastic and your Prosecco in a plastics pitcher. 😑😑😑😑

Had our company luncheon here and it went great! The venue, the menu and the staff were all top notch. The ambiance is just right for a nice lunch or brunch. I would highly recommend them for your next event. Thank you to everyone at the winery!

Place with good soul and history of old Hollywood. We ordered tasting set and tour, guide is very good heart person with excellent taste of humor, he told us really interesting and impressive things about winery, owners. It was fun. Also you can order lunch or dinner there, they have shop with good assortment of wine and souvenirs shop. Recommend this place in Los Angeles for wine lovers.

This Winery has come a long way in the 20 years I’ve been coming here. The Rack of Lamb Short Ribs & Lobster Ravioli was Amazing. There was a Saxophonist playing. It was the Perfect way to Celebrate Our Mom’s Birthday. They have the Best Staff, they Always make you feel Special

We came for lunch and found a nice selection of items to choose from including salads, sandwiches, ravioli, spaghetti, beef and fish plates. We had the spaghetti and the steak sandwich. Portions are very generous. The desserts looked yummy but we are watching our waistlines 😫 Wine was pricey at $12 a glass. You think since they make it, they would show their customers a little love, but no.

We attended a private event for the Federalist Society catered with a wonderful array of offerings. The bruschetta, coconut shrimp, and empanadas were quite delicious! Their selections of wines and beers offered any palate a welcomed drink. The service was prompt and courteous throughout our event. The backdrop of the working winery and the room where we had our meet and greet made for a lovely evening. Would recommend to anyone for the wine and for an ideal venue well-versed at private events.

Beautiful place. Lots of wines and cute gifts for wine people. It was nice to be able to buy a bottle of wine, then sit down and drink it while ordering food from the restaurant. Gave it 4 stars because I had to ask for a soda that was purchased a couple of times.

We had our 2023 company holiday luncheon at San Antonio Winery's Heritage Cellar and from top to bottom the experience was wonderful. Sherrie (and Jennifer) was lovely to work with, responsive and helpful with everything we needed. The team was really happy about the food, which was delicious; everyone at their fill, and portions were very generous. The facility is clean and welcoming with a super cute market in the front. I'm super grateful for the seamless experience and the top-notch hospitality experience allowing our team to focus on our holiday festivities!

I hosted my leadership team for a year-end celebration. While the food and wine were delicious, the service was not up to par for the 20% gratuity added. I arrived shortly before 3 p.m. for my reservation and had to wait about 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Then the waitress took 10 min to check on my table, which was empty, before seating my party. The service was really slow; since the patio closed at 6 p.m., the wait staff started to push to rush us out around 5 p.m. The server did give me the final bill but left shortly after and we waited another 10 min to pay.
