I stayed in one of the 6 person dorm rooms at the Ho36 in Les Menuires for 6 nights. Overall I wasn't too impressed by the place - despite being an affordable place for someone to stay at the ski resort, I found the facilities to be unsatisfactory, lacking basic things I would expect from a hostel. The dorm room I stayed in was clean and the bed was comfortable. I requested to move from the bed I was assigned because it didn't have a privacy curtain, though this was being added while I was there. The lamp of my second bed was broken (with loose wires still connected to the mains supply). It had a plug-in lamp, but this still meant I had to choose between light and power. This was a problem because generally the room was very dark. I struggled to see my things in the lockers, even with all available lights on. I was also disappointed in the bathrooms. For all the dorm rooms on my floor, there were only 2 toilets and 2 showers. To make matters worse, one of the showers was out for servicing while I was there. The one shower was in almost constant use, which made it difficult to wash. The toilets also stank a lot of the time - it wasn't always clear why, but a general smell of sewage usually lingered in the toilets. For a hostel, I found it quite baffling that there are virtually no kitchen facilities provided. No fridge, nowhere to store food and nowhere to cook meals. There is a microwave, but obviously your meal choices are severely limited by this. The bar/restaurant upstairs is nice enough, but I craved the means to make my own food without paying €12 every day for breakfast. It is also the only communal space, so if it's full of people having dinner (who may or may not be staying there), you're out of luck. The ski boot room was good, the ski in/ski out location was excellent. Generally speaking, my stay here was functional, but not overly pleasant: I had a bed and place to store skis for a relatively affordable price, but the lack of facilities really grated the longer I was there, and I would say the inability to prepare food amounts to a hidden cost of staying here. Overall would not recommend.

Really dark rooms, small beds.. The hotel looks and feels tired. The restaurant is ok but the sound of ping (microwave) can be heard at the table. Breakfast is mediocre, especially the croissants are for French standards really poor. The ski locker room is far too small for the capacity of the hotel and in case the snow is not adequate a large mud swamp needs to be crossed before the ski slope is reached.

I stayed here with my school and overall my stay was average. The staff were always lovely however the cleaning staff would never properly clean things such as the bathroom. The food was overall good - did not have too many problems however there could be more healthier breakfast options. The stairs to and from the boot room was very hard to climb up and down from, several of my classmates fell when climbing these. The size of the boot room is also an issue as it is quite a small room and our group had some issues with missing boots or skis which could be avoided if maybe lockers were put in place? However the view was lovely and location was quite convenient.

I haven't stayed in a hostel in years, but this was the only decent price for the area. I was in a six room bunkbed that had a privacy screen and lockers provided. I had dinner with one roommate every night which was nice. toilet was OK. And the lounge area is very nice. there was no window provided in the common bathroom, so must leave the door open after to air it out. also, there was no bathmat for the floor but I always grab one from the laundry room. otherwise as expected from a hostel.

My son went on a school trip here to go skiing and the food was absolutely terrible. They were feeding him literal dog food and it is unacceptable. The beds are small, the tap and shower both feel like acid and the balcony door keeps randomly opening. The rooms are dark and you can barely see a thing at night.

Nice dishes, decent pricing. Vegetarian Burger was a bit basic, the ‘tranches de boeuf’ were delicious. The plates with cheese and meat were not on the menu, but you can ask for it.

Very central, close to ski lifts, equipment rental shops, supermarket and bus transfer. Spacious restaurant /bar with welcoming, cozy, contemporary chill out vibes. Super professional bar service offering wide range of drinks and cocktails - Moscow Mule is a must! Reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff amazingly helpful with wonderful smiles. Perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. Ski room from which you can ski directly to slope. Hostel beautifully kept, modern, spotlessly clean. Free Wi-Fi. Booked spacious double room with superb Mountain View and private bathroom.

Much better than expected, good buffet breakfast, and very filling evening meal, along with happy hour makes the place reasonably priced. Shared bathroom not a problem

Had a wonderful stay at HO36. We were desperate to find something on that night after a long workindg day. The staff hotel has been extremely helpful, kind and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean with awesome views over the mountains. I do recommend this place. Thank you again 🙏🏼
