Had a Reuben and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. Food was pretty good, soup was a little thin/bland. Very spacious place! It came with a mozzarella, tomato and basil salad but it was extremely small in a container that I would assume a condiment would come in.

They are new to the block but bring years of experience to the table. This cafe has great exposure across from the town green where Mary Sawyer's Lamb overlooks the old bank now transformed into a clearly in demand local hot spot. The food was made fresh to order and was ready very quickly. They have daily specials, smoothies, omelets, salads, sandwiches pastries, cold brew on tap coffee and more. There is ample seating indoors or outside. The parking is paved and while there are many spots, you can find more parking across the street. During the build out they were creative with the existing space and left over hardware from the retired bank, using the old safe deposit keys, boxes and even the vault door as decor.

We were heading for Meadowbrook Orchards...another place we love. They ended up being closed so we googled and thought we'd try Emma's Cafe. They had good outdoor seating but being hot, we ate in. Had delicious hot sandwich, even Cole slaw was great!! Highly recommend!! Can't wait to return!!

Found a hair in a muffin and an omelette that was ordered. Called spoke to the owner and he said he couldn’t refund me. Which is fine. He said he could make me another meal (kids hungry…we already figured out another solution). All I wanted was a business card or something with a credit or remake of the meal..for another day. Owner says just call in and he will remember because this doesn’t happen. Long story short, the owner wasn’t really listening and trying to cater to the customer…he was more concerned that the hairs didn’t come from his establishment….as soon as I said hair in the food…take care of the customer and you will have customers for life…but he didn’t care

Went for the first time today. Easy sitting outside, good sandwiches, great chocolate chip cookie. Grilled cheese was devoured by the 1 & 4 year olds. Will be back! So nice to finally have something like this in downtown Sterling.

Cute little place. Some seating indoor and outdoor. The tree only shades so much outside though. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have several regulars and knew what they tended to order when they got to the front. Got three things. $5 Large Cold brew Peach Iced Tea. Cold, tasty, pretty darned good for a no added sugar drink. $11 Stuffed French Toast. It's a cream cheese topping, and it's mostly if not all straight cream cheese, so it's not some crazy sweet sugar dish. Just a light dusting of powdered sugar that's mostly for looks. The bread is dense and eggy, the cream cheese soft and creamy, the strawberries are fresh and juicy. I would like either more strawberries or smaller chunks of them, I guess I'll just have to cut up my own strawberries, oh the horror. The two strips of bacon, are bacon, bacon is delicious - thin sliced, cooked right between crispy and chewy. $8 The Hungry Man (replaced ham with sausage). Egg, sausage, egg, cheese, bacon, egg, cheese, bacon.. that's literally what I'm looking at. Oh, and an English muffin too, though there are other bread options. You can tell those are fresh cracked from the shell eggs. It's real cheese too, I can almost taste the name of the cow who gave the milk to make this cheese. I would probably ask for another piece of meat in the future, unless you want the egg to really be the central flavor. Lightly toasted bun. Added some jam from their selection. Delish. All in all a great eat for $25. No stars off for this, and they do have two bathrooms, one of which must be larger since it's handicap accessible. But, I almost feel like a single bathroom might be preferable over making out with a strange wall as I potty, much less wipe. I sure hope they clean that wall at least daily. :\

Good comfort food and coffee with quick and friendly service. The place is deceptively large, with ordering done counter service style where you place your order then get a number and pick your table. The server will bring your food when it is ready. We went for breakfast and enjoyed the pancakes and coffee immensely. We were seated only a few minutes before our food arrived hot and ready. We will have to return for lunch in the future. Also a great place for families.

Such great food and very nice staff! This was my first time coming and I will definitely be back for more. I had an iced pumpkin latte and breakfast burrito with avocado and chorizo and Pico de Gallo. Mwah!😋

Emma’s was a great experience. Would recommend! We ordered the pancakes which were big and fluffy. We also ordered the Emma’s garden omelette and blue plate special. Top to bottom phenomenal breakfast. We also got a couple homemade muffins that also were very good. The service was amazing, such nice people, very friendly. Need more places like Emma’s.

Had a great experience at Emma's yesterday. We have been there for breakfast, which was good, but wanted to try lunch. I had a meatball sub that was delicious. My wife had clam chowder that she raved about. Service is good. The people are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. What more can you ask, well, it's in the middle of Sterling, and that is a big plus, less than a mile from my home. Wherever you are coming from, it is worth the trip. Hope to see you there.

Ugh, amazing. I picked up some of the Italian wedding soup from Emma's for takeout through their drive-through window as I've been battling a minor cold, and man oh man, its the only thing that has been getting me through! It's healing! Italian wedding is one of my favorite soups, and I've had a lot from many different places, but Emma's really killed it! The flavor is wonderful. I am usually not one to even write reviews, but they deserve this one. The lady that took my order was also very kind and appreciated.

Excellent food, great coffee, outdoor and inside tables. Great place to have lunch with friends. I wish they had longer hours.

I usually end up here at least weekly! I love the nitro cold brew on tap and the wife loves the flavored cold brews. Good breakfast burritos, delicious baked goods (especially the caramel apple crumb cake and the cookies!). And some unusual options! Friendly staff and a cool building (old bank).

Love Emma's! Great food and staff! I Love their French Toast Breakfast and that they have outside seating. If you go on Saturdays in Sterling you'll also have a chance to attend our weekly Sellers Market in the common across the street from Emma's Café! I totally recommend this!

Everything you would ask for in a local café. Off street parking with the option to sit outside or inside. The outdoor patio was spacious and the chairs were comfortable! Upon entering, you're greeted by friendly staff, clearly written menu items on the wall. It's partial service so you order at the counter and are given a number and a server will bring the food to you. They have a wide variety of selections but it's not overwhelming. Serving breakfast all day, they also have homemade pastries, muffins, standard breakfast items including some dishes I would like to come back to try (hello hash!). As well as salads and sandwiches.I ordered the Emma's Garden Omelet (and added steak) and got my son a blue plate special (eggs, bacon, potatoes (has veggies, so good!) . I took the recommendation of the staff and got the smoothie of the day which was called the Blueberry Muffin: frozen blueberries, oats, cinnamon and yogurt and it was not too sweet, very smooth with chunks of fresh blueberries and the oats made it filling!. I also got an iced cold brew - which was fantastic, no flavor needed. though I was surprised how it wasn't too busy on a Saturday and I know they just opened so big ol' shoutout to Emma's!! I'll definitely be back!!

Today was my first time visiting the cafe and I will definitely be back. I ordered online for pick up and everything was wonderful! The staff was friendly when I arrived and the sandwich and smoothies were delicious!

Everything was very good, but here's a little tip: don't order your sandwich on the cinnamon raisin bread - it's smaller than the others, a little too small for a sandwich.

I was very impressed by this place. I love it. The design of the space inside and out is tasteful, the people are nice, the menu is full of great things, and so it easily exceeds anything you might hope for. I can't imagine that there is a place to have breakfast or brunch anywhere around here that is nearly as good. I was happy to see that I could order a Cobb salad made with all natural ingredients, and happier still once I tasted it. Don't miss out on Emma's.

My new favorite breakfast spot beating out Meadowbrook (except the apple orchard view cannot be topped) and the Over Easy cafe. The corned beef, eggs, Irish bangers and amazing home fries was amazing. The attention to detail on a simple pile of home fries is worth mentioning. They are cut a bit smaller than usual so more surface area for seasoning and browning. The crumb cake homemade is real good but I could live without the caramel topping. Will be back for the breakfast burrito. This is a huge win local diners. Looking forward to lunch too.

Emma's Cafe is the perfect place to get a delicious breakfast, lunch or just a snack. It has so many choices on the menu to pick from. The food is fresh, delicious and made to order. The staff is outstanding, friendly and helpful. Stop by sometime for a culinary delight!

Awesomely creative omelette options along with other intriguing breakfast and lunch plates. The vault and some security boxes, leftovers of this former bank, are part of the decor. Inside and outside seating. Order at the counter. They deliver to your table. Parking spaces surround the cafe on three sides. A very friendly place to meet and eat!
