Had never been here before and it definitely won’t be my last visit. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. Totally made us feel like regulars. They serve breakfast food all day so if that’s your thing (like me), then why aren’t you there right now?? Food took a bit to arrive, but I don’t know if that’s typical and I didn’t really check to see how many other people were in the rest of the restaurant. We ordered 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy (even the half order was incredibly huge!), cinnamon roll (are you kidding me? It’s quite large, smothered in icing and served warm!!), and the pancake breakfast (with bacon and eggs). Eggs were a bit overcooked but still tasted good to my wife. The pancakes were fluffy and fresh. Even as leftovers the next day, their food is great. Totally coming back!! :-)

Stop in for a salad and was not disappointed. Seldom do I have to stop but it was too much for me. Nice clean friendly place.

My daughter and grandkids visited for from Kansas City. Took them to breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. They all loved the food and Atmosphere. It was delicious and they can't wait to try other dishes.

Nice little place, had breakfast here and it was great. Good portions, food tasted good, cinnamon roll was huge and delicious. Service is great. It's a small place so you are packed in. On nice days you can sit on their patio.

The food was home cooking at it finest. We got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a salad. Oh the handspun milkshake was perfect to top it off. The server was friendly but not very attentive however they were extremely busy at 115 pm on a Monday

We drove all the way from St Louis out to this restaurant on the train. It was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered fried chicken, which was one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was so juicy and the breading was not super thick but it had an amazing flavor. It did not take over the chicken taste. The mashed potatoes were amazing, the coleslaw was fantastic the biscuits were amazing as well. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back again.

First time diner. Food was abundant and excellent. Service was great. Lots of dishes I want to try. Will be returning for sure. They serve breakfast all day too! Had Chicken Fried Steak with green beans,mashed potatoes with white gravy, coleslaw and Texas toast.

BEST FRIED CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD! Stopped in for our first time last Sunday for a late breakfast. Small wait for an inside table, which was fine because we loved sitting on the small outdoor patio. Wish I could speak to the rest of the menu, but the first thing I saw was chicken and waffles, and I was sold. Rothschild's makes it to order, so the menu asks for 15 minutes and promises the chicken is worth the wait. Let me tell you, they ain't lying. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the skin was fantastic. Paired with a light, crisp Belgian waffle which soaks up just enough syrup to balance the lightly salty/savory chicken, this is a breakfast you'll be dreaming about all week. My wife's breakfast was great also (including eggs, bacon, toast, biscuits and gravy, and some excellent hash browns), but I know the chicken and waffles was in a league of its own after she came back to my plate for multiple bites. Next time we're in Washington, you'll find us at Rothschild's.

Came here for breakfast. It was pretty busy, but to be expected on Sunday morning. Service was slower because of that but still great. Prices are hard to beat for the amount of food you get. The pancakes were light and fluffy, Bacon thick cut, and eggs cooked to order. Overall a great breakfast.
