I love using small businesses because they seem to go the extra mile. That is certainly true of The Wool Cellar. I placed an online order with them for knitting yarn, but ran out with 10cm to go! I reached out with the hope that they may have the same dye lot. After a search, a final ball was found, and posted the same day. I will remain a customer and if I'm travelling that way, definitely pop in in person.

Since my daughter has taken up knitting, we pop in here on the school run. The selection of interesting wools is amazing for such a small space and the owner is so helpful and will get some in specially if you want.

Really friendly lady who has just celebrated her 1st year anniversary since opening the shop. Really talkative and helpful. We had a great time. Whilst the misses was looking for wool me and the owner were talking about computers and her previous jobs. Wool isnt for me personally so she kept me entertained with conversation. Brilliant

Jo is very knowledgeable very helpful , she is always ready to help you . The shop maybe small but the Jo has a big heart. Can’t recommend the wool cellar enough.

This wonderful little shop is an Aladdin’s cave. There are balls of squishy loveliness in every corner. Jo is a font of all knowledge and is always happy to help with any random question I've thrown at her! Friendly, helpful and well stocked, this is truly a gem of a shop which is in a really easy location to get to.
