4/19/22 1415 hrs Very rude receptionists. Kept asking me to get up and come to the front desk when she saw that I could barely walk. She definitely has loss of situational awareness. They lost the preliminary paperwork that I emailed them 4 weeks ago. These receptionists are very disorganized and disrespectful. Unprofessional.

Terrible place. Staff is extremely rude and not caring. On the first appointment the doctor made me wait 1 hour and half (no kidding) and when arrived he did not even apologize. He looked at me for 3 minutes and told me to schedule another appointment. Similar story on the follow up. This is clearly a place where the profit and making money comes before patients health and well being. Because of my dislocated shoulder I am in great pain and the hours lost waiting for being checked are hours I could not work, loosing money. This way of treating patients should be illegal.

Great service at the front desk for doctors and physical therapy. Everyone is super helpful. This is my go to place for anytime I have injuries. Been here 5 years ago and again this year, still a great place to go.

Great service and positive staff helping with X-rays. The doctor did not race through the findings. Also provided good feedback. Excellent team to work with.

I've seen 50+ doctors in my life with excellent experiences overall, but this is the very first place where I felt they only cared about their high patient head count, and nothing about the individual patient's care and experience. First while waiting to see my doctor, I had the unique experience of hearing THREE other patient’s names called starting 10 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Second, after scheduling my PT appointments a few months in advance they suddenly cancelled all of my appointments at the last minute because they “expired” and said I had to pay to see Dr. Magovern again! No one explained this policy to me when scheduling yet they wanted me to pay for their lack of training or oversight. Anna in the PT dept. told me her manager would call me back but of course she NEVER did. I then chose another practice for my PT but wanted Dr. Magovern to at least know how unprofessional his PT department is, so I left multiple messages for his assistant Nancy stating that I wished to relay an issue. She tried me only once then after many more calls to her she NEVER even had the professional courtesy to call.

By far one of the most unprofessional doctors officers I have had the misfortune of interacting with. I was called today regarding an appointment, which I had cancelled and was confirmed via their automatic text messaging system. Then, I was informed that I am out of network. So? I'm not able to see your doctors if I am out of network? The scheduler who called me did not seem to comprehend how out of network benefits work and appeared to dislike that I had so many questions.

For some reason the front office for Coastal Ortho in El Segundo as well as their MRI facility in Torrance are rude and caustic. Not only to me but I have observed this behavior exhibited by them to other patients as well as I sit in the waiting room. And not only one person on one particular day. Multiple apptmts. Life is too short to have this negative interaction. There’s plenty of good orthos in the area. It’s a shame.

Our Surgeon Glen Huber is patient,a great listener,treats and listens and looks at his parents when questions are being asked ,He has a great sense of humor , overall pleasant man,Most of all number one Surgeon.He puts you right at ease. His secretary is fast and very efficient.The physical therapy department is top notch also very professional great place to go ,your in great hands.
